The store was very shaken up and there was a lot going on. I left my tools by the counter to help a lady that was a little distraught. While I was gone Teresa was nice enough to place my tools off to the side so nothing happened to them. When I returned she helped me with the purchase and was very very considerate. Thank you to Jim in the garden area. He was a big help finding me what I needed. Unlike most other employees there who tell you It over there in an area that is filled with so many products. Especially when I am looking for something a never bought before. Lucky there are a few good people left that understand that the customer is most important. I just closed on my 5th house. I was sadden to hear the gentleman Mr. Miguel no longer works there. He worked in the plumbing department and exhibited incredible knowledge and the best customer service skills in the 3 years I have been shopping at this location. They need to bring him back ASAP. I seen him help 3 customers all at the same time because no one else who was working the department wanted to help. Especially the lady who just wants to give people candy...smh. Ill make my purchases elsewhere unless he comes back.

Great place to find all you need for your DIY projects but good luck finding an associate to readily answer your questions.

This is an excellent spot to stop in for a bite, a meal or any other reason you can think of. The staff is fast and friendly, the beers are cold, the food comes out of the kitchen hot, and the live entertainment is excellent with some of the best long island bands.

Home Depot Selden is the best Home Depot. I shop here at least 3 times out of the week. I came in today looking for a watering container. I didnt see any so I asked an associate that was walking by do they still have any watering cans the associate never stop just kept walking said no we dont. Not one time stopping to assist. I ran into another associate as I was getting ready to leave the store. I asked her she said she was not sure but assisted me by walking me over to where they are normally kept and even though they was not there she asked another associate for assistance they told her and she walked me over to another area. I want to thank Donna for assisting me today. For making something as small as an watering can important. Special thanks to Donna.

Great service. Augustine is the guy you need to see if your dealing with tools. Great experience working with him and customer service to replace a faulty power tool. He knows his inventory and goes the extra mile to make sure your taken care of. 5 stars for Augustine in tools.

Awesome store for the home and garden . Youll find everything youll need to maintain or completely remodel your home. Service can be a hit or miss. Ive accepted it. Because I know Ill find everything I need in the store

We love this Home Depot. We have been shopping here since we moved to Selden in 1999.We’re having extensive renovations done while the pandemic keeps us home bound. Exchanges, and returns are inevitable, but they are always polite and accommodating. I would recommend this location to everyone.

Not crowded, employees could not be found for help

The girl at the register scanned me 2 times an item that cost $ 22. And she went crazy, then I realized when I was putting everything in my car. I came back and complained about it and they gave me the money back. this is something i am experiencing more than once.

Very rude cashier named Stacy. Bad attitude. Its a shame this company has to be represented by such bad person. Someone should speak to her about the way she treats people. It makes me want to sell my stock.

My favorite place to go for anything I need and things are almost always in stock.

So came to buy a refrigerator from this store. Best Buy had lower price. They only now price match Lowe’s. Lowe’s also with the lower price. Acting manager Joe was so lazy that he just said why don’t you go buy the refrigerator from Lowe’s. Didn’t even try to make the effort to get the price match. Horrible mentality and etiquette and professionalism!

Terrible things you need not available

This Home Depot in Selden New York is the absolute worst when it comes to management along with horrible customer service when it comes to even caring about the customer as managers do nothing to help. We paid for an LP exchange today and waited in the rain in the gas tank exchange area for somebody to show and give us an exchange. Nobody ever showed up. We went back to the garden area and again they called for help for an employee to show up for an LP tank exchange. Again nobody showed up. After going inside for a refund on our 24 dollar charge, I asked to talk to the MOD. Chris the MOD Italked to was worse then nobody showing up outside. Sad, for years we enjoyed this store. For the past seven years plus forget about any help from management I dont think they ever come out of the office in the back of the store.Save your time and money and shop at Lowes.

Did not have 2 items I needed and another item that I needed was not in Aisle 49 Bay 10 as alleged by the stores website. I think I will start using the South Setauket store. I never had an issue with that store.

It was fine. Of course I got the cart that sounded like a train with three broken wheels and a ton of dynamite exploding as it entered the station and they didnt have something I needed that the internet swears was in stock so....typical trip.

Lumber selection good

Couldnt find what I needed or anyone to help me. Sigh.But I bought some spring plants anyway.

The line to enter the store was long well beyond the corner up to the liquor store. People observing social distances. All using face masks. After about thirty minutes, we got in. There were very few inside, it was easy to keep away from each other. Also, the store hours are limited comparing to before the virus.

Just a quick stop in today.Got a nice medium pumpkin for only $6. 🎃👻

I always find someone willing to help me when I have questions. If for any reason that person doesnt have an answer, they help me hunt down someone who can. It may take patience because its not just me they are giving good service to. Keep that in mind and youll have a great experience.

I love a good home depot!! This one is pretty well stocked and organized. I was able to find everything I needed. The best part is the staff. They were all super helpful, even walking me to one of the items I needed. The checkout line was super quick and they offered to help me to my car. Id definitely use this home depot again:-)

Has what you need... the offensive behavior of its employees when youre medically unable to wear a mask/ face covering and shop without one... Lowes staff are much better with handling and addressing the non-mask wearer

Coram Store had the exact part we needed to replace.

Curbside is great the service is top notch. Perfect during the pandemic for those of us trying to socially distance and get the things we need. This location will be our go to from now on.

Tried to do the curbside pickup. What a joke after placing order I waited 3 hours then went to store. Was told they have and I repeat 100 orders ahead of mine. I said okay just give me a round about time. Is that 3 hours from now or 3 days? Very rude and not helpful in anyway. I felt like I was a bother to them . I purchased $335 worth of products. Cancelled order!!. Didn’t even try to keep customer. Not good business. Like the Giants Sears, JC Penny . I ordered my Electric Weed trimmer from Amazon. Good buy big box stores!!!

They normally have everything I need. You pretty much know what your gonna get when you go there. They dont carry specialty items like the old hardware stores did but between HD & Lowes they have 99% of what you need

Everyone knows Home Depot. Its got big selection of stuff. Its sometimes hard to get expert help. Its cheaper than little places, but lacks the one on one help you will find in a little shop.

Went to buy a sheet of plywood and asked the lumber associate for help and he tells me go find the plywood and put it in the saw then he will cut it. He was rude and had an attitude like he didnt want to be bothered. I found a manager and he helped me get the wood and had the lumber associate cut it for me. If thats the type of service you get I will go to Lowes.

Aisle was temporarily closed because the forklift was there, however no one was around it wasnt being used and should have been stored in the back. it was blocking access to the aisle I needed. Took over a half hour to get access

Took 25 minutes to have someone come and make a key.

Just bought some stuff with my stepson just now and had Alex as a cashier. Does he normally say F you to customers hes annoyed with? I think thats very rude and obnoxious and very unprofessional. Then he went and discuss the whole ordeal with a female coworker. Just because my step-son was a little high-strung because we couldnt find certain product because we were run around to three different places but nobody knew where anything was. That doesnt give anybody the right to act like that. He thought just because I had headphones on I couldnt hear him. Something should be done. Very bad employee.

I have been doing a lot of updating to my home. The employees at this Depot are super knowledgeable, and very helpful with everything question I have. They also have a lot of great stuff in clearance!

I find everything Im looking for at reasonable prices. I give 4 stars only before I can NEVER find someone on the floor to help out if I can not find what Im looking for.

Usually has what I need.They have the American flags in stock that are ideal for flying behind your truck at 60 mph.

Had to ask 3 people before arriving at the correct aisle specified online. Ironically, it was a first-day associate who guided me properly. Great job by him! Store is organized and tidy; otherwise would have rated 3 stars for having to ping multiple associates to find location.

This is a smaller home depot, so its worth checking their website to see what they have in stock before going. Other than that its a decent store. Conveniently located so when i need to do a quick project its in and out fast.

It’s next to impossible to find some one to help .. employees run as soon as they see a customer coming.. they don’t greet .. no smile .. rude employees.. only time I see them smiling is when they have district visit .. .

We were shopping for a Shop Vac. Called for assistance and the associate helped us make the right decision as far as the horsepower we needed and he even put the Vac in the cart for us.

Wide selection and friendly staffs. Also ease of checkout and even though it has been advanced with self checkout, its nice to still see a person near by to assist if we need it. Always my go to Home Depot!

This is a standard Home Depot Store. As usual it is well organized and Usually it is easy to find things, especially with the Home Depot app. Some items that show in stock on the app may be hard to find if it says “ask for help from store employee”. As is usual for a big box hardware store, knowledgeable employees are in short supply. They all are courteous and as helpful as they can be.
