Punctual appointment timing the very next day!(called 1hr before close day prior to installation) top quality work, above and beyond what you will find at any massive chain/big box type store. Received printout of alignment settings that really show you where your vehicle sits and if an alignment is needed immediately or not. Great experience! Support local business!

Andrew and Steve were super nice to talk to and they pushed back their lunch to accommodate my tight schedule. Welding seemed solid. They also took some time to check the rest of the car and helped point out issues they see. Price was very reasonable.

Dont expect a cozy lounge with satellite TV, playroom for your kids or a free cup of coffee like some dealership waiting rooms. But the savings are all yours! After 35 years in business, they still have it right. I wont go anywhere else.

First of all, the mechanics at Wittrock are AWESOME! The prices are also fair. My problem (and I have been to Wittrock on a few occasions for repair work) is the man that normally runs the front and answers the phone. I forget his name. Let’s just say he isn’t friendly AT ALL. I brought my car in on April 2nd for a brake estimate (all pads and rotors) and to have them check out the exhaust which was getting a bit loud. He called me the following day and said the total would be $770.He said the total for the brakes would be 490 and the exhaust would be 280. Since I’m on a fixed income and only get paid monthly, I wanted to have the front brakes done first and he said that would be 290, to which I replied, then the rear brakes would be 200, correct? He acted like I didn’t know what I was talking about. Simple math would tell you if the brakes total was 490 and the front would be 290, then the rear would be 200. Anyway, I told him to do the front brakes and that I would come back for the exhaust next month and the rear brakes after that. He said he understood and that would be fine.When I called the following month I spoke to someone else. Apparently the man I had spoken to wasn’t there. I explained that he had given me the estimate over the phone and that I had chosen to do it in stages. He said I should’ve gotten an estimate with my bill. I didn’t. I assumed they would have a copy in their system. To my astonishment they didn’t. I wasn’t happy about it, but the mechanic, who was not to blame, basically said there was nothing he could do. I was more than a bit miffed by this. He didn’t try to get in touch with this guy to find out if he had written it down anywhere. I know mechanics don’t handle the customer service end of things, but he could’ve tried to find out. I had him do an estimate on the exhaust and rear brakes (and rotors). When he called with the exhaust estimate it was 520! I was pretty upset. I had budgeted the 280 and wasn’t prepared. Again I explained that the man who normally runs the front desk had told me otherwise, but again nothing was done to try and figure that out. I had the repair done. When I picked up the car I asked for the rear brakes estimate in writing. When I picked up the car, I explained the issue of the phone estimate to the mechanic who helped me, nice guy by the way, and he said “oh, you must’ve talked to so and so” (again, I can’t remember his name) as if he was notorious for this kind of thing and does it regularly. He did apologize, but said the work that was done was needed and explained what they did and why they did it.I still believe in the mechanics working there. They did great work and I believe I got a fair deal. However, the man who handles the front desk is awful. Not only is he unfriendly, but he is also incompetent. If you get an estimate, BE SURE TO GET IT IN WRITING or it will not be honored as they have no record system for keeping track. Accept no other estimate than a repair order in which you keep the white copy and they keep the rest. I recommend keeping all of your paperwork as well, just in case.

My husband and I were told by another car repair shop that we needed new tires due to severe cupping and uneven wear. I made an appointment with Wittrocks and they ordered the tires. On the appointment date, husband and I dropped off our car and we walked to a park across the street to wait. Shortly after we got to the park, Shannon (mechanic) walked over and asked us why we wanted new tires. What?! Turns out that our current tires were safe and had plenty of miles on them. When we asked if theyd be OK for our upcoming road trip to Florida, he said the long drive would be fine and it might even out the tire cupping. He said hed love to take our money, but there was no need. That kind of honesty in a business is wonderful and we will definitely stay with this place for our tire and muffler needs. Plus the guys at Wittrocks are a great bunch and fun. : )

Needed my snow tires taken off and my all-season tires put on. They did it within 25 minutes. It was about $70 for it all, compared to the $100 Firestone quoted me and the $120 GoodYear quoted me. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely go back.

Took my car in as it was so loud. In addition to the muffler they said that they need to replace some additional exhaust part - the bill was $500. It wasnt as quiet as I remembered it had been (my car would run so quiet that there were times I thought it wasnt running when it was). Within days it was louder than when I brought it in. They wanted $200 more to replace a 15 year old 24 exhaust part that they should have replaced but didnt. They do not stand behind their estimates for repairs.

Work was good but they triple charged me and didnt do anything about it,. i had to sit on the phone with my card company and wait a full week for hundreds of dollars that were mine. Some of the money has been returned to me, but Im still out $60 and they refuse to help me. They have problems with credit unions but dont tell people until they start having troubles with double/ triple charging. If youre a credit union member and think youre going to pay with a debit card, think twice and bring cash. I dont know why they dont have this posted somewhere near their cash register?

A couple of years ago I had my front passenger tires lug nuts completely break off and my tire actually came off while making a left turn right in front of Wittrocks. I was completely dumbfounded and in shock. The mechanics came out when they heard the noise and they pushed my car into their parking lot. I still cant believe how helpful they were! I was on my way to puck my daughter up from her friends house and it just happened to be in that neighborhood. Thank goodness because they were amazing!!I had them fix my car and the cost was way below what I thought it would be.I would recommend Wittrocks Tire & Muffler to anyone who needs automobile work done!Thank you Wittrocks team of mechanics and employees!!!

Its not just locally owned and operated its awesome quick done right, no BS.Its the only place I have ever taken my car and thought, what a great deal that was.Even when I ask stupid questions, they laugh, and tell me what federal regulations wont allow, even when we agree on a simpler and better solution, in other words, they dont cheat, they do it right, no excuses.Oh yeah, they race, therefore they know.

Jon was very knowledgeable about things. My flex pipe was broken and my dealer quoted me 2100 for original parts and 1000 for aftermarket parts. I called Jon up and asked him if I could come for an estimate. He was very kind and asked me to come in the next day. He put my car up, looked at it and said 240 for fixing it. I was stunned. That was about 1/10th of the dealership. I told him to fix it right there and then. He made it very easy for me. If you want to get your exhaust fixed at a reasonable price rate. Make sure you call whitrock mufflers and ask Jon for an estimate.

Called to set up a time to get tires rotated and balanced. Was told if there’s no shacking don’t need balancing but I thought it would be beneficial since the tires were still pretty new and hadn’t rotated for awhile and with Sheboygans bumpy roads. I mentioned that and that I had read a few different articles online speaking to why one should balance. The individual on the phone then proceeded to mock me, “let me guess, you read it on Wikipedia?” (Which I didn’t). I then said forget it but then he was pushy about keeping the appointment. I said okay then called Fleet Farm in Plymouth and had it done there instead. Didn’t even want to bother trying to cancel at wittrock’s. They were very disrespectful and unprofessional. The cost was about the same at Fleet Farm but with better customer service and professionalism. Won’t ever bother with wittrock’s again.

In 2014 I got my exhaust/pipe replaced at Midas for almost $300. My pipe broke due to rust, went to Wittrocks for the same thing and was quoted $140 plus tax. I ended up paying $126 and it took only 30-40 minutes to repair compared to Midas (couple hours). Definitely going to use their service in the future.

I gave 2 stars for the nice man who I talked to over the phone and who later apologized for his co-worker (although he didnt have to). When I picked up my car, I paid and was told my keys were in my unlocked car. Ooookay....I wouldnt have done that myself...even if it was broad daylight and parked about 40 from the front door in their lot. I open the door and first thing I notice, the key is left in the on position. Dead battery. I go inside and to make a long story short, the 1 guy starts telling me all of the electrical problems my 23 year old car has and how theres an issue with the battery terminal and the cables, blah blah blah. To which I reply that I wouldve PAID THEM to fix anything that they thought was beyond its lifespan and that there is only 1 other hookup to the battery which is for the sound system. He proceeds to argue with me on if we replaced everything that needed replacing then youd end up replacing everything ....and again, I told him, I would rather spend a few bucks than to have the battery die on me again (which was his fault anyway, again he argued eith me on that). I dont have a lot of money but Id rather spend $$$ on a new battery and/or terminals than to be stranded in the cold.Long story over, dont waste your time with these morons. Oh, AND after telling them I wanted my mufflers WELDED on, paying $100 and them telling me it WAS welded, I noticed it leaking (again, 2nd time I came back for the same leak).....FROM THE BOLTED ON MUFFLERS. Youve been warned. This shop, or more specifically, the lumox who argued with me, doesnt give 2 blinks about you or your car.
