Everytime I go here, the staff are always so wonderful and so nice. Very clean and very organized. Never a long wait and food is always fresh. Would recommend!

This is my new favorite bagel place. Excellent food (not just bagels), friendly service, reasonable prices. Very bright and clean for a great early morning pick-me-up! Lots of staff ensures a fast/efficient stop on your way to work and the coffee is spot-on! Highly recommend!

WELL I AM A VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER. I HAVE BEEN GOING TO THIS BAGEL STORE FOR ABOUT SIX MONTHS MAYBE MORE. OFF THE FACT THAT I DO NOT EAT PORK LET ALONE MEAT. OKAY SO THIS PLACE IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE ONLY PLACE THAT IVE SEEN AND BEEN TOO THAT DOESNT COOK THEIR HOME FRIES IN PORK GREASE.AFTER RECEIVING HOME FRIES THE OTHER DAY AND THEM HAVING BACON IN IT. I TO SAY THE LEAST WAS LIVID. I THEN CALLED AND TALKED TO THE MANAGER THAT EXPRESSED HIS DEEPEST CONCERNS AND ASSURED ME THAT HE HIMSELF DOESNT EAT PORK.HE ALSO WENT TO SAY THAT THE HOME FRIES ARE COOKED IN VEGETABLE GREASE. WHICH MADE ME MORE HAPPY. THIS WAS ON SEPTEMBER 8,2021. THE MANAGER WAS SO SORRY THAT HE GAVE ME ANOTHER HOME FRIES FREE OF CHARGE. SO TODAY I CALLED TO PLACE AN ORDER SAME LIKE ALWAYS AND THE WOMEN THAT ANSWERED THE PHONE CLEARLY STATED. THAT THE MANAGER SAYS THEY DO COOK THE HOME FRIES IN PORK GREASE AND I COULD GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. THAT THE MANAGER DIDNT WANT TO TALK TO ME AND TOLD ME THAT I CAN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. THIS IS THE KIND OF BUSINESS.

I TRIED to call in an order because my boyfriend was already on the way to go pick up breakfast before realizing he forgot his wallet home. I asked to pay over the phone and the girl behind the counter told me she’s too busy to take my debt card over the phone. I explained he’s outside without a wallet and asked to please pay over the phone multiple times and she refused for a good 3 mins and kept saying she’s too busy to take my payment. She told me to come in with the card to pay and hung up.I called back and asked to speak to a manager and got put on hold for about 5 minutes. My boyfriend who was outside watched the staff pass around the phone before disconnecting my call without speaking to me. I again called back told them I had someone watching them disconnect my call and told them this time make sure I get through to the manager.He finally got on the phone and informed me they would take payment over the phone he said it’s 3 seconds asked if I still wanted anything but after watching all that go down we decided we won’t be getting anything from there at all. He was unapologetic, didn’t ask who told me I couldn’t pay over the phone and didn’t seem to care at all. Poor customer service BIG TIME !

The owner who took over this strathmore location knows his stuff but the jury is still out about the bagels. Another location also owned by him seems to have different recipes and less enjoyable.

Worst service ever, they don’t answer the phone, placed an order and went there but they never got my order somehow when I called the number listed on google and they cant answer that number or the one listed on their own website. Also, their strawberry cream cheese is like frosting just no good and the line workers are slow. I’d rather take the drive to Strathmore bagels in mastic than to go here again

The food is good; however, it wasnt at all busy and the staff messed up my order completely because they were too busy having a personal conversation with each other to pay attention to what I was ordering. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese NOT toasted and they toasted it anyway. I was highly disappointed with how poor their listening skills are.

I ordered a toasted everything bagel with egg and cheese and turkey bacon (crispy)I pick up my order and it’s a burrito! I return it and wait for my bagel!I go home and the turkey bacon isn’t a crisp and my bagel isn’t toasted! To be honest it wasn’t even a turkey bacon! The employees are very confused on what they doing! First and last time I’m going there

Ordered the usual, BLT and BEC .. both sandwhichs were delicious. I dont know why it is so hard to find a decent breakfast sandwhich these days but Im glad we stopped here after the reservation.Keep it up guys !!

Let me first start by saying I’ve given this bagel Café a five star review in the past. And I’ve never been unsatisfied with their customer service, their food, or any part of my experience with this café.Except today, with everything going on with Covid-19, I was greatly disappointed. Why are your staff NOT changing their gloves in between every customer? If your touching money or credit cards with gloves you should not, I REPEAT should NOT be using the same gloves to make food for a different customer. Gloves MUST be changed in between every customer. I am aware that bacteria found on money is considered dry bacteria and less likely to harm us, however with an unknown virus going around KILLING THOUSANDS, you would think people would be a little bit more aware, use more common sense. You’re one of the lucky businesses that gets to stay open and make at least some money. So don’t be cheap! Do your part to protect humanity. Change your damn gloves!

Bagels are good! They check all the boxes for a bagel joint - salt in the everything bagel mix, a good garlic bagel, and availability of bialys. What more could you want?

The place is nicely located right off the William Floyd Highway and inside is cosy and brightly lit for reading at a table. Short wait times and plenty of staff to wait on you. Sandwiches are named after local places and reasonabley priced.

The people who work here are very friendly. I’ve been here twice and only on Sunday mornings on my way to the beach, and both times there was a pretty long line of customers. The staff do a great job of getting through everyone regardless. The food has been great both times I’ve visited - we’ve gotten bagels, breakfast platters and heros, all of which were very good.The reason I removed a star is because the wait time is a good bit longer than other bagel spots/delis I’ve been to if you get anything other than a bagel, sandwich or ready made salads (like egg or pasta salad for example). We ordered breakfast platters and it took about 20 minutes for us to get our order.I also really wish there were low sugar options for drinks besides water - the Gatorades and Vitamin Waters they carry, for example, are only the full sugar varieties. Makes it a little difficult for people like me who follow a low carb diet.

Lady behind register used cleaning sprays and chemicals and without hesitation or washing hands proceeded to make our sandwiches needless to say we left with just coffee and canceled food order. Never going back there again.

Wasnt impressed with the service should I say the service that I did not get .earlier this week I go into the bagle shop a little after 5am on my way to work as I approach the door the worker maybe owner walks towards the back mind you entering the bagle shop a bell goes off as you enter so there for he hears a customer I proceed to wait at the counter he never came out or had the respect to say Ill be right with you smfh thats a business that will never get my business....

How hard is it to remember to bacon on an egg sandwich? ..... not only that but I got over easy eggs and they smashed the sandwich and made it a disaster.... oh and my eggs weren’t cooked all the way either... absolutely horrible experience and I will never go back again. What a trash bag of a place.
