Really great place to buy milk. Excellent dairy selection. They have all the grades, all the flavors. Chocolate? yes. Vanilla? Sure. Oat? I dont know why, but absolutely.

Just picked up my prescription. They filled it out in very short time and the pharmacist was very friendly and helpful

Workers are NOT allowed to refuse service if someone isn’t wearing a mask. They can’t say anything either. The store isn’t enforcing the mask mandate making it a HUGE risk for essential workers and other customers. They only care about the profit. There’s absolutely no social distancing between a cashier and customer–especially dangerous due to the maskless. Please stay away unless you want to risk your life.

Always stop in and get items I need quick. Never a real issue as far as being out of stock. They usually have what I need and service has been great

I love this store, it is very clean, the produce is always fresh, and the employees are always helpful, although many workers look somber too often...they need some sunshine in their day!

Jerk employees make snide comments behind customers backs at the deli counter about how customers dont want to wait in line, even though theres no line (because I am using the grab and go deli meat). I am trying to get in and out due to the COVID pandemic, and dont want to download your app, you have to talk behind my back?

My spouse and I had literally just moved into our home and came here right after in search of an easy meal to reheat, as well as some ingredients to whip together a meal the next day. Parking was great, we were able to get a spot really close, which is awesome for a Saturday. The shelves were well stocked, and very tidy, which I truly appreciate. Though, when we got to the meat section, and saw the prices, we realized we definitely needed to get a shopping cart instead of just the basket we had been using. I waited by the meat with the basket while my spouse went to get a cart for us. It hadnt been a very long wait, but during that time, an older man who was an employee from the meat department came out and stood next to me and started making very angry noises. My husband got back and as we eagerly loaded the cart with our items, the older man approached us and angrily accused me of putting things in the wrong meat case. This wasnt at all possible for us to do, because anything we had grabbed went directly into our basket. I told him that it wasnt, but he still stood there very angrily. This was almost a perfect trip to the market. My spouse and I were too tired to make a fuss because we had been moving all day. I truly hope this man doesnt treat any of the other customers like this. I suspect someone who isnt as exhausted as we were at the time would make a much bigger deal about it.

Senior hours are not very useful. The store opens at 6am for seniors in order to provide less contact during the COVID19 pandemic. The problem is that the seafood department, deli, and the meat department dont open until 7am. The store manager doesnt come in until at least 7am and nobody is in customer service until 7am. When asked, the employees tell me that the store actually doesnt open until 7am. So why pretend to open for seniors at 6am when much of the store is closed until 7am?Il also find many items are out of stock. I often find these same items in stock at local competitors stores like Shaws; I wonder why they are out of stock at Stop & Shop? Ive been shopping at Stop & Shop for decades but Im beginning to think that its time to find another supermarket or maybe its this particular Stop & Shop in Shrewsbury thats the problem?

Staff could do better restocking. This store is always packed for whatever reason. If you dont wanna wait in long lines to get your groceries Id advise you to go elsewhere.

Definitely a great place to do grocery shopping. Huge variety of foods and drinks, ready to eat food like rotisserie chicken, deli counter, butcher shop area, bakery, etc. Prices are lower than price chopper and Shaws. Employees are very nice.

Went to the meat department and this guys must have had a bad night cause he was not customer friendly... just some advise to the employee who dismissed me so easily and made me feel like my money wasn’t green, keep your problems at home.

I like how this one is very open and airy; I never feel crowded in it.

Its stop and shop. Smaller aisles than others. Not always tidy. But it is convenient and consistent with what you expect from a stop and shop. We go regularly.

Some of the prices are high. Lara Bars are more than $1 than Target. Some prices are lower. I hate MARTY, the robot that checks for spills in the aisles. It has the best deli in Shrewsbury, but the premade food selection is barely non-existent. The seafood and meat counter is also pretty good. The quality of the meat is awesome. I do wish that the brats werent all frozen.

I like Stop and Shop because they still carry most of the major brand names I use. The people working at the store near me are very helpful and courteous also.

Today for the 1st time I used lane that had a person at the end to help check me out I usually use the self check out because its faster and a normally grabbing products for work but this time I was like I give it a shot this is why Ill never use it again there was in older women on lane 3 I got to the register choose completely rude after scanning my items she proceeded to throw them on the belt toss them like they were pieces of garbage she was very rude and I will never be using a person again Ill be using the self checkout

I just walked out of the Shrewsbury stop and shop because I saw the cake decorator handling a cake with no gloves. The guy lifted up the cake with his hands put it on a cardboard plate stand and frosting it using the tools and then with his hands started to put sprinkles on it. You would think that with everything that is going on right now gloves would be worn when handling food.

Cheap stuff. Produce is always lacking in quality. If you buy any fruits or veggies you have to eat it that day otherwise it turns immediately. Its a decent grocery store otherwise.As far as the staff goes: the only nice employee Ive seen is the older woman with the blonde hair who works the self check out lanes. She is incredibly nice, even if she doesnt greet you (which she always does) she always has a smile on her face! Very pleasant lady and always makes me feel positive when I leave. Otherwise, all the other front end/on the floor staff members that Ive come in contact with seem miserable. They also always act like Im going to steal something too..... Ive been a truthful patron for 10+ years yet treated like a thief..... Ive become more aware of this (as Im in retail as well)..... a male employee once stood right behind me and stared at me as I was checking out. I used to stop by every day and spend $10 or so on lunch and $100+ on groceries a week... now I go maybe once every 2 weeks and spend maybe $20.Give that blonde haired lady at the self checkout a raise or something! She is so sweet!

DO NOT SHOP HERE! there is 1 employee at the Shrewsbury one and i can no longer shop there because of her. She will refuse to serve me at the deli and she will say mean things to me. My friend who works there is also getting harassed by her. She is a miserable person and wants everyone around her to feel the same why she does. I brought this matter to the manager, Carl, there and he laughed at me. He aslo wouldnt give me corporates number. I called corporate and they have done nothing about this. I now have the police involved and stop and shop wont do anything about this. This place is horrid and over priced too! DO NOT SHOP HERE!

Its almost the only store that I visit as far as grocery stores go. But lately I find if theres less and less Stop & Shop brand products. I like the Stop & Shop Brand Products you have very good and much more reasonably priced and brand names. otherwise I like the store very much.

Very rude cashierI will probably find another store as this is the 3rd time this has happened. Previously at self check out older woman quite an attitude when I asked a question about a price.

Stop&Shops are a hit or a miss. This one is on the verge of a miss. Produce selection is always limited. Seems to be that way at a lot of the S&S. Dont buy the ground meat at any S&S. Dont know why, but there seems to be more amount of brown meat in the center than other places I have been. Like Trader Joes or Shaws. Maybe thats a trick the grocery stores use - put older meat that didnt sell in the center wrapped around newer ground meat.Anyways this store is smaller and the Customer service booth is hardly manned. A few times I have been here, no one was there. Waited for 10 minutes at one point.In the end I rarely go here unless they have a really good deal on ice cream.

This store really is terrible. The self checkouts are abysmal and the staff are far from helpful. The store is dated and the produce section is poor. If Market Basket ever comes to Shrewsbury, this store will go out of business unless significant improvements are made.
