I was looking for a replacement refrigerator after mine broke down suddenly. I was searching everywhere but none had it in stock and the delivery was not within my need.My neighbor mentioned this place so I made a quick visit and found exactly what I wanted.I was greeted by Christopher (Chris) who was a very nice, courteous and a helpful gentleman. I picked up a brand-new Frigidaire unit, brought it home, unpacked but unfortunately discovered that it was damaged. I took it back immediately, returned it, spoke to Chris and he said he will give a new replacement. It was late, I did not have time to decide, so Chris put one hold. Went back the next day, but deiced not to get another one and I asked for a full refund.Chris was not present, so I explained to another salesperson but he said the company policy is no refund only exchange. I was taken back, I told him that Chris assured me that a refund will be given if I did not want a replacement.Spoke to the Manager who contacted Chris, and a full refund was given to me immediately.!I know they could have made is difficult for me, but I was very happy the way my issue was handled.I will not hesitate to go back for other purchases. Kudos to Chris and the Manager on duty on 08/02/21.That is how you run a business.!!Word of advice: If you are picking up any appliance yourself, ensure that it has no damage prior to loading.!!

Ordered a couple items from here for delivery and the store did not communicate at all. There was no confirmation on their end that they received an order, there was no confirmation on whether an order was being delivered and the store was extremely poor in handling the refund.We had to call the corporate office because the local store was so bad at communicating.Giving 2-stars because they do have great deals for things that you can go in and pick up.For online orders just tell them youll pick up the item.

Staff was kind and sale was done quickly. Things do tend to sell out quickly As told to me by the nice lady who work there. Keep in mind everything is final sale, restocks vary depending on whats randomly Shipped into facility, and the only thing with a slight return policy are the electronics. I was able to get a good price a a matress when I walked in. As soon as I picked my matress the nice young man loaded up my car and I was good to go. Thanks so much.

The worst delivery experience ever. Took a day off from work waiting on a washer/dryer pair to arrive. Tried calling the store 2 times, no one was picking up. On. the third try, the lady picked up the phone and said they were having an issue with the delivery truck. When asked about the delivery status, she said they can try to deliver it in two weeks. So, now Im going to have to take more time off from work and try to get the delivery re-scheduled. Good job trying to notify your customers when you have an issue! Worst customer service experience hands down!

We called first thing morning and spoke to a very pleasant and helpful employee named Roxana. We asked if she could check on a wall oven for us. She found one that fit our needs and said she would wait for us to come in. As soon as we got there she was waiting for us. She was extremely helpful and the process took less than 20 minutes. One of my go to places for discounted appliances, if youre okay with some dents or scratches when it saves you a few hundreds at times. Went there this week since they happen to have 18 dishwasher that most places dont carry.Never had to use their delivery and have always done a store pickup and been smooth overall.Ive typically ordered online and see what they have in stock and buy it from there. They do have products out in the floor also if youd wanna peruse through them and see the possible scratch/dents first before buying just everything imaginable: refrigerator, dishwasher, washer, dryers, etc.

Please come here because they have great deals and Roxana was amazing at helping us pick out not one but two new appliances!!! She is great at multitasking and answers all of the questions you may have !!!!

I am moving to Montgomery County from Brooklyn, NY in a few days and I was in desperate need of of living set. Most places were saying it would be 8-12 week delivery time which was not going to work.I found a sectional online. They said I would have to pick it up from the store. When I called I spoke to Roxana. She stated that she didnt have that item at the store. I asked her what living room sets was available and she patiently went through different options with me. She was very friendly and extremely helpful. This is something I really appreciated because it is already stressful moving from one state to another and not knowing the way of the land.I would definitely recommend American Freight for good prices and great customer service. Website, signage, and sales people promise delivery dates they can’t honor. Weeks of waiting with no updates or callbacks.

DO NOT! DO NOT SHOP AT THE VEIRS MILL AMERICAN FREIGHT STORE. I ordered furniture from here and paid EXTRA EXTRA $$ FOR DELIVERY. I was told that it would be an extra 2 weeks to get my furniture because my location was further than usual. Okay, no problem. The day before my delivery date, the a man called to CONFIRM MY DELIVERY. When HE saw the distance from the store to my house, HE SAID, HELL, NO! HE THEN SAID HED CALL ME BACK AND HUNG UP ON ME! KEEP IN MIND I PAID EXTRA, EXTRA $$ BECAUSE OF THE DISTANCE. The next day, NO PHONE CALL, NO DELIVERY. I CALLED THE VEIRS MILL STORE 13 TIMES AND NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE. I called the main customer service number and the rep was told that my furniture was en route. The rep also told the manager that he should call me because of my conversation with the guy in delivery. Now its after 6pm and the MANAGER calls me, checks the status and said that MY FURNITURE WAS RETURNED TO THE STORE BECAUSE I DID NOT ANSWER MY PHONE. I MOVED MY OLD FURNITURE OUT TO BRING THE NEW FURNITURE IN AND ITS NOT HERE!! UNBELIEVABLE!! He is supposedly furious about my conversation with the guy from delivery and assured me that my furniture would be at my house TODAY. YESTERDAY, NO CONFIRMATION CALL, I CAN NOT GET IN TOUCH WITH ANYONE BECAUSE THE PHONE RINGS OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I called the main customer service number AND CUSTOMER SERVICE CANT GET IN TOUCH WITH ANYONE FROM THE STORE!! THE REP HAS TO SEND AN EMAIL TO CALL ME!! DO NOT, DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FOR DELIVERY FROM THIS STORE. Im reporting them to the Better Business BUREAU.

I ordered a washer online, but ran into an issue where the website did not allow me to purchase installation and haul away services. Peter called from the store and helped me to sort it out. He also caught that the website swapped the shipping and billing addresses preventing my order from being shipped to the wrong location. I would provide 5 stars except for the issues with the website. Peter saved the day!

5000% love this location. Excellent selection, quality furniture for great prices, and to top it off, the staff is superb! Special/ HUGE THANKS to the manager, Ms. Naishi Toney, shes patient and has the absolute best customer service! My family and I just moved and wanted a certain look for our new place, Ms. Toney made it happen for us and were beyond grateful. She offered us a 5 year warranty for our new furniture which I usually decline because at most stores it cost too much to add it on, not here. Its worth it. Cant beat the prices or the selection here.

My wife and I visited American Freight in SilverSpring. The employees are very courteous and patient while assisting with our questions. We worked with Ms. Naishi Toney who was extremely helpful and enthusiastic. She was very knowledgeable of her inventory and the options available to us making our search to furnish our home a one stop shop. We are truly grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her and hope that others get the opportunity as well.

UPDATE 2 - 2/1/20I was in the store again today to buy appliances for my new house and I cannot explain how horrible the customer service was that I received today. The young man working the counter was friendly but did not help at all and was working alone in the store. The manager that arrived an hour after I got to the store did not help any of the many customers in the store and was extremely rude when approached and asked for assistance. After being in the store for over an hour and a half with ZERO offers of help from anyone, her unfriendly glare and unwillingness to help led to us immediately leaving the store to shop elsewhere. Thats $4000 that wont be hitting their bottomline today. If I could make a zero star review I would. Also, the womens bathroom was a nightmare and had no toilet paper.UPDATE:Delivery was a nightmare. Was not confirmed as stated and location only answered 1 of the 30 phone calls I made to their location on scheduled delivery date. That one phone call was promptly hung up by answering employee. Appliances were delivered 4 days late and only because of a negative review I left on locations Facebook page which prompted them to finally call me. My negative review was quickly seconded by another shopper with a similar issue.Great in store, but do not shop here unless youre taking items home yourself same day.------Fantastic experience here, which is not something I expected when large appliance shopping. I needed to purchase a fridge, range, dishwasher, washer, and dryer for my new home without breaking the bank. The manager, Mohammed, worked with me to find the perfect items to fit that budget and my needs. I couldnt have asked for a better deal. Alicia then spent an hour answering all of my questions, going over my purchases, scheduling delivery, and being amazing.Highly recommend this location.

He was professional, honest, responsive, and went above and beyond to help us resolve a difficult situation that Sears had left us to deal with. We have only good things to say - and recommend going to him without question.

Got here at 11. Supposed 5o open at 10. Employees inside but not open..Left came back at just before 1. An employee was inside by the door. Opened the door and said they would open in 10 minutes....20 minutes later waited outside employee just standing in the middle of the room on their phone.Edit: other employee gets back. Tells us they were not closed the whole time, she just went out for lunch. Wife mad that they didnt apologize. I am livid she told me that they were not closed the whole time. Lied to me and implied I was lying in the same breath.

Soooo I order a beautiful table on AmericanFrieght.com from this location on March 20th. I was sent a confirmation email stating that I will be getting a call in 24-48 hours. I never got a call so I decided to call them. The man that answered said his manager was not in and he couldn’t look up anything because he just started working there. Cool understandable. He said his manager would give me a call back on Wednesday so they could deliver it Thursday. “They are closed on Thursdays.” I never got a call. So I called the next week the same man answered the phone and said the manager is still not in store. He couldn’t give me any information but he did see that I did make a purchase. And to give them a call back tomorrow so I called and called and called for over a week no one answered. At this point I’m getting frustrated because either give me my money back or bring the table. 2 weeks go by nobody is answering they store phone. So I call American Frieght representative and told them I want a complete refund I do not want the table. She said wait let me try and call the store. The store ignored all of her calls “ she called 4 times I called 20”. She finally say to me I’ll give you a refund but the store manger has to cancel the order on their end. And told me give her a couple days for it to be canceled and refunded. I say okay. Week past by I call again another lady said to me that they haven’t canceled the order. They have to wait for the store to cancel it. “ if they not answering they phone idk why she thought they was checking emails” so another week passes and I call another rep he goes on to tell me my product was delivered to my home that’s why they can’t cancel. I’m very upset at this point so. I have my husband to call the store for them to ignore his calls for 3 days. And finally they answer and gave a us a refund. Please I repeat do not buy from this location. And who ever is in charge should be fired for horrible business.

Roxane was super helpful getting us a new fridge! Despite her being super busy with customers she took the time to explain everything and work on the sale. The fridge had a great discount and was in good condition. The workers helped prepare the fridge for us to take and helped load it into our truck.

Bought a fridge here online because they were the only one to carry the unique size I needed. They didn’t deliver on the scheduled day, claimed the truck “broke down”. Couldn’t deliver for 2 more weeks. So I went and picked it up myself and when I got it home and plugged it in it wouldn’t cool. Seems there is no Freon in the coolant system, and they won’t refund after selling me a fridge with no refrigerant. Said they would let me exchange if I brought back to the store, but they don’t have anymore of the size I need. So, I’m stuck with a 242 lb paperweight for 2 more weeks until the Sears repair team can come out and rebuild the entire coolant system- costing Sears more than I paid for the fridge probably! Don’t ever buy from this place, might be cheaper but you get what you pay for...junk!

We had a refrigerator delivered this week. The two gentlemen were professional, efficient, and polite. They knew their business. The door and hallway are narrow and they were able to maneuver the refrigerator without complaint or difficulty. We appreciate their hard work.

Our first time here and it was a very pleasant outcome. Peter was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products but most of all he was very patient with my mom :) My mom wasn’t too sure which washer to get and he took his time to answer all her questions. That’s great customer service. I felt kind of bad in how we just kept changing our minds but in the end we made a great choice. I really did appreciate the knowledge we received from 2 other staff members there as well, I believe one was the store manager. It shows how everyone works as a team and are consistent. Ive placed an order this past Thursday and I was told that my items would be delivered by today. I was told that I would receive a call about what time my items will be delivered but I didnt receive a call. I tried to call this location several times but the phone is disconnected. Worst customer service. Purchased a stove and on my first time using it, the glass top was stained and I could not get out, Spent hours trying to clean it but it it looked like I had used it for years. Contacted them immediately via phone and emails and the manager at the Woodbridge store would not return calls or emails. When I did get him on the phone, he pretended that he didn’t get my emails or messages but was told be the assistant manager that he saw him reading them. I understand that they are in the transition of change from Sears to American Freight so I assume that they are not part of Sears and this may explain the horrible service. It’s suppose to be a discount store but costco had it cheaper with free delivery, hookup and hauling but this company charged me for all and it coast a couple of hundred more than costco. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE.
