Hello, so I usually do not write reviews but I found this to be extremely rude. I called this company to set up an appointment for a client who wanted her washing machine repaired and who lived in that area. I own a small business for Virtual Assistance, Notary, and Tax Services. One of the things I do is set appointments for clients. I work remote so I have a different area code. When I explained why I called the associate (did not get a name) said, your calling for a client from a NY number (In a very sarcastic tone and with an attitude. ) I said yes, I live in another state but she lives in your area. (Based on my search it was only a few blocks away) He then says well we have to much work already and is not looking for anymore. (Again in a very rude way) And hung up before I can say okay thank you. SMH Get it together people, that is not alright.

Apache Appliance came to my house to repair a broken ice dispenser on my Kitchen Aid refrigerator on July 19, 2021. While the dispenser was broken, the ice maker had been working fine. But I was tired of my kids having to open the freezer and reach into the bin to get their ice. The ice at the bottom of the bin tended to get compressed and frozen into chunks, so prior to the arrival of the technician, Godfrey, I emptied the ice bin. I left some ice in a glass in the freezer so he could test the dispenser when he fixed it. I even pointed this out to him. He repaired some wires and the motor for the dispenser seemed to work, although he never used the ice from the glass to test it. However, by the next day, the ice maker hadn’t made any new ice. Godfrey came out again on July 26 and declared it fixed, but we would have to wait to see if ice appeared after it had time to freeze. By the next day, no ice. In further conversations with Godfrey, he insisted that because the ice bin had been empty, the ice maker must not have been working before he came. This is 100% not true. It worked fine right up to the time he came on July 19. In discussing the problem with the owner of Apache, Francis Nolan, he refused to admit that Godfrey, his technician, could have done anything to the ice maker and that the fact that the ice maker just stopped working immediately after Godfrey’s visit must be a “coincidence”. He decided to refund the cost of Godfrey’s initial visit ($149), although I did not request or want this solution. If Godfrey’s mistake means I have to buy a new ice maker and have it installed, it’s going to cost much more than $149. They’ve basically called me a liar and screwed me over cost-wise. I would steer clear of them.

Professional and efficient. Delivery and installation of our new dishwasher took less than 30 minutes. Thank you Apache.

Customer service is top notch! I called this morning, distraught because our dryer died, we’re expecting snow tomorrow, and with a family of 5 laundry piles up quickly. The man I spoke to on the phone recommended a dryer that was budget-friendly and gets great reviews. Best part? They were able to deliver it SAME DAY. Less than 5 hours after I placed my initial call, the first load is drying in our new dryer. I was already a repeat customer (due mostly to customer service), and after this great experience I’d hesitate to go anywhere else!

My washer and drier are both about twenty years old. A couple of years ago the washer broke and just the other day the drier broke. Both times they came out and fixed the problem without even trying to sell me on a new machine. Their honesty means the world to me. I will definitely be back to purchase new appliances when the time comes.

Used for service twice, both times got the job done promptly.

Called to talk about appliance options and the man on the phone was extremely condescending and rude. Totally threw away his business with me. I ended the call by saying “sorry to have wasted your time”

I have used Apache for many years. Excellent service, knowledgeable, great family business! Just got my latest purchase from them, and again great to do business with them! Much thanks to Mike who helped with the purchase and timely delivery!

The person I spoke with on the phone was friendly and quick to schedule a repair person to come to my house to repair my washing machine. However, the elderly gentlemen who arrived at my door, though quick and knowledgeable about fixing the machine, was extremely rude, accusative and though he was joking, threatened to come back and break my door down if my credit card did not clear. I would suggest this company invest in teaching their employees how to respectfully speak to customers. I will not use this company again.

I had a great experience with this company in 2002. I called them this time because of that experience.I had two conversations with representatives of this company. The first representative was polite and helpful. The second representative was nothing like the first. I was so surprised by his attitude and was quite angry when the call ended. I will probably never do business with this company again.I give them 1 star - for the first representative - though had I had the opportunity to work just with him this might have been a 5 star experience as was the 2002 interaction.

I used them in 2002, then again today and their delivery was terrific! Not an easy job with stairs outside and the width of my door was narrow. They patiently pulled the doors off the frig and put it all back together. Very careful with my door and floor. Even offered to help move furniture back. Ill be hiring them again. There prices are also very reasonable, they dont sell crappy appliances either.

Apache Appliance was excellent in every respect, from beginning to end. We wanted to replace all our very old kitchen appliances at the same time. Apache (via owner Francis Nolan) offered good advice on product choices. After we selected the various items, Apache came to our apartment to measure and verify that everything would fit. The on-site assessment proved to be crucial because it showed that an overhead cabinet would need to be trimmed slightly to clear the refrigerator. Apache then gave us a competitive package price for the appliances, with a reasonable delivery and installation charge for this large project. The installation itself was done very professionally. The three-man crew arrived as scheduled, worked around the problem of a broken freight elevator, took great care to avoid damage to walls and fixtures, tested everything, and cleaned up thoroughly. We highly recommend Apache.

Great customer service! Had a washer delivered. Installed perfectly and hauled my old one away. They even moved my gas dryer back in place and hooked it back up. And, they replaced the section of the vent that attaches to the dryer because it was not tightly clamping to the dryer duct. They did that at no cost, even though I didnt buy the dryer from them.

I recently purchased 4 new slate appliances from Apache. They were able to install all four on the date and time that I requested. Apache also took care to correctly connect the oven, microwave, and the dishwasher. I appreciate that they mentioned the BGE recycling program so that I could get a credit for having BGE pick up my old working refrigerator. Even though the door to my new refrigerator had been damaged at the warehouse, Apache replaced it and sent the same two professional men to make the repair at a convenient time. I like dealing with a small business because of the more personal connection!

I have used Apache since I moved into Stonegate 18 years ago and they have fixed, advised and sold me appliances over these years. My kitchen renovation with the top of the line Kitchenaid appliances supplied by them is a masterpiece, and the cost was a fraction of other stores, big and small. Francis will tell you the truth if you need a replacement or a repair and you can depend on it. Now if only they would open a store in my new neighborhood in Florida....

Recently purchased a home and needed to replace the fridge. New to the area, I wanted to support a local small business - Apache Appliance. Although I was the only customer in the store, it took the older man behind the counter almost 5 minutes to ask if I needed help. I was interested in a specific GE fridge, but the salesman kept trying to push a more expensive model. He made me very uncomfortable - so I left. I ended up going to the Home Depot store across the street in Aspen Hill to buy my fridge - and at a more competitive price !Very disappointing experience...

I have resently purchased 6 major appliances from Apache. Unfortunately, my experience Was dependent on the people working at the time. Some where excellent while others were less than professional. When trying to share my concerns about my latest purchase and installation I received “ sarcastic “ comments from whom ever was working the phones. Fortunately, the two men that came out to repair the poor job of one of the workers installing my washer/ dryer were professional, polite, and respectful. If you purchase from Apache you are taking your chances with good customer service. If you find you are not getting quality service ...try another service manager in the store before you give up on them. More training in customer service would solve these concerns.

Recently had a dishwasher installed. After they left, water was dripping under my sink all night. Called to complain and they referred me to a plumber. $270 later the dripping was gone. I asked them to credit the installation fee but they said it wasnt their fault. I had no dripping before the install so I dont get this reply. They seem very unconcerned with making the customer happy. Go elsewhere.

Would not use this company I found their truck parked in Handicapped space at Fair Hill Plaza, Olney MD. Not only parked in one but taking up area in two spaces. If the do not care about Handicapped neighbors what do the think of you.

They were horrible to me. Told me theyd come repair it, then never showed up. When I called they hung up on me rudely.

I have purchased a GE dishwaher and a GE microwave from Apache.
