My experience with Caliber Collision and especially the manager, Eli Krut, was the worst. First, Caliber, (who supposedly is supposed to work closely with Geico as this is a place recommended by Geico) did not communicate at all with Geico and I have to repeatedly call both to try to coordinate anything and even then there was a lot of miscommunication. Then the first time I came to get the estimate for the damage, I was supposed to also just have Caliber fix it as well, but Eli insisted that all he had to do was take pictures and I’d have to come back. When I called Geico, they said the opposite and said Eli was supposed to take the car in and fix it. This delayed my repairs by an extra three weeks. Then when I made an appointment to come back, Caliber lost it in the system and completely removed my appointment and I had to reschedule. Finally after almost two months since the accident, I dropped my car off and Eli said it would take about 4 days to fix the car but it took three weeks. After three weeks, he called and he left a voicemail saying they’re a probably with the key. I called back and he said he completely the key and had to go to Caliber and give them my spare key, thus delaying my repairs again. Then I had to come back when it was finished (per my text and phone call) and had to wait yet about hour outside. Long story short this is the worst management and Geico has the worst communication and service. I will not recommend Caliber to anyone, especially this location.

I was involved in an accident and Caliber Collision is where the insurance company sent me to get my repairs. I was greeted with professionalism and kindness as soon as I walked in. Enterprise was on site for my car rental. Everything from the repair to the rental went very smoothly, even when my repair was delayed, everything as far as my rental was handled. I was updated when needed. I did not need to call once. Mr. Eli and the team are absolutely amazing. Thank you for making this experience amazing.

I took my vehicle to this shop because of an accident involving a deer. The deer damaged the front bumper and most of the frame of my car from the left headlight to the driver’s side door. The shop initially told me that the repairs were going to take 8 days, but it turned into 2 weeks. Then the date was extended to 3 weeks, then 4.5, and it was finalized after 6 weeks of being in the shop. This prompted me to also get a rental car that was a little bit on the pricey side because my insurance policy would cover it for up to 30 days, but I was misled by the duration of that my car was actually in that shop. Throughout that entire time, they NEVER took the initiative to call me to give me a status update about my car. I would have to call them just for them to tell me that the date would be extended and this happened AT LEAST 3 TIMES. After the call, they would then send me a text stating that the date of completion for the car would be extended as if they were going to send me the text in the first place, but it gets worse.After I get my car back, I drive it for about a week and my check engine light comes on and the “lead technician” Ely gives me an attitude about checking it. It turns out that the issue was a cylinder misfire and he simply brushed it off saying that it was a “random occurrence”.Now Ely was the main person that I was in communication with about my car since it was taken to the shop. He never took any initiative or seemed as though he cared whatsoever. Regardless of that selfish person’s attitude and lack of respect, the car still looks great, which is the only reason why this review has multiple stars.

It was the best experience in customer service that I have had dealing with my vehicle. Matthew is a good person. He gave me a ride to the Enterprise rental office and waited with me until I was given a car. That was after he was already done with work for the day. I recieved text messages through out the process and the car was finished on the exact day. Also Candice at the front desk was very helpful. If I could give them more stars I would.

⚠️ this was by far the worst place to take our vehicle! On top of that, the man who runs the place or “fixes” the vehicles has the worst customer service ever. I took my car there to get the door fixed and three of the windows do not work. My newborn and two of my other children 5&6 have been getting rained on... and because of Covid we don’t have the money to get the windows fixed that this place broke and the windows do not go up. I called many times and no one has called me back or given me answers. It definitely explains why the man took so long to update me about the car or to even say hello to me when I came to pick it up. It was supposed to take a week to fix and it was there for an entire month.If I could give 0 stars I would!

My first impression of the Caliber Collision was negative. My displeasure of customer experience started from the parking lot. When I drove up to the shop, I saw three gentlemen, representatives of the body shop, conversing at the parking lot. I got out of my van not knowing where to go, the men looked at me and completely ignored me. They did not bother to greet or assist me but continued with their conversation.I picked up my van on Friday as promised at the close of business, I noticed a damage to the rearview mirror. Two days later, while driving on I-95, I heard a noise coming from the drivers front tire. When I pulled over to the shoulder lane to check where the notice was coming from, I saw that the splashguard was not correctly installed; a couple of screws or bolts were missing. I tried to secure it, thinking it was a minor issue and could be fixed with just a snap. However, when I got back on the highway, the splashguard fell off again and rubbed against the tire, inhibiting my driving.The following day which was on a Monday, I called the collision center to speak with the attendant who handled my case to inform him of the damages. I immediately received a pushed back from him. He got defensive and gave the impression as if my concerns were not valid.I made an appointment to take the van the next day to be looked at and corrected. I received the same response from the him. Regarding the damage to the rearview mirror, he told me that the heat from the sun caused the breakage. That sounded unrealistic to me because I park in an open space at my residence. I told him that a crack was there before I took the van in. But while my van was in their care a piece broke off possible when the mechanic adjusted the mirror. His response was, I cant do anything about it; if you want, you can speak to my supervisor. I thought that was an unprofessional response. No sympathy, no apology. I told him that my pressing concern was fixing the splashguard.After the splashguard was fixed, he handed my key to me in the waiting area and did not offer to do a walkthrough to validate the repair and apologize for the inconvenience.I gave a one for poor customer service because they made me feel like I was an inconvenience. I would not recommend a friend or family member as my sister also had a similar experience when she took her truck there a repair. There was an additional damage on her vehicle.

Really disappointed in the customer service and service quality of this location I have had great experiences with caliber collision in the past but I would not recommend this location the collision damage they fixed on the outside of my car was well done however they gave me back my car with the inside condition TRASHED. Then they had the nerve to look at me like I’m crazy and not see the issue with how they left my interior. This guy had no remorse or concern and made it seem like I gave it to them like that. My seats weren’t in the best condition before I admit but before I dropped my car off for repairs I had cleaned the inside of my car thoroughly and was actually proud of it so to get it back looking like someone looted the inside and just smoked it out with dust and dirt was disheartening. All the stuff from my truck was just dumped into my back seat which isn’t how I left it. You would think with them having my car for almost two weeks they would be more respectful.

I am not one who likes to bash businesses especially ones who provide service to folks who are in need but this has not been a pleasant saga and unfortunately even now its not over.Because of unfortunate circumstances, my 2019 (yes 5 month new) Subaru Forrester was involved in a single vehicle accident. Because I had other things to deal with like a son in the hospital, I opted to just let Nationwide guide me to their preferred collision repair shop closest to me and that was Caliber Collision on Tech Road in Silver Spring.First of, my interaction with the front staff was excellent. I got call back when my vehicle arrived, a call when they had assessed it initially and was told I would receive periodic updates.. The original estimate for completion was 6/18/2019 which was 15 days from when it was received and I was pleased...Well that did not last long.....Not one phone call was made to me until on 6/17 I called to ask about the status. Since I was not able to talk to the gentleman responsible for updating me I decided to stop by. My vehicle was pretty much untouched except for the parts on the front being removed... I was of course irritated as anyone would be and received a lot of apologies including an email... I ask if they would just give me a date when the vehicle would be completed and was told they would prioritize it for completion by 6/30/19. I received three calls to update me and was told some parts were back ordered and was going to delay it till today 7/2. I assumed that at this point my car had been in the shop for double the expected repair time and again assumed it would be done.. I called this morning and was told it was being washed and should be ready by mid day and then when I called at 1300 was told as soon as it was cleaned it would be test driven. At 1500 I was told they discovered a noise and that upon inspection there was a transmission mount that now needs to be replaced... ETA... who knows...I am posting this BEFORE I receive my vehicle knowing full well I will be getting a vehicle which instead of being repaired correctly will be a litigation headache... I dont wish this on anyone and would ask that people definitely check their reference before using them.I will be sending an email to Nationwide as well as I want them to understand while I have the ability to accommodate this, most people who rely on their car dont. And this definitely does reflect badly on them as well....

Went to Caliber Collision after a parking lot incident. The estimate process was easy and took less than 30 minutes. We scheduled the work for the following week and it was done a day ahead of schedule and below estimate. The car looks like new. EVER SINCE I TOOK MY CAR THERE SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH MY. So I took my car there to get my fender replaced. One they kept extending the completion date. When I picked up my car, my window switch wasnt working. before my accident the panel over the tire was black, they replaced it and left it red. my car looks so tacky.

Caliber Collision was very professional from the start. They followed up with me immediately after my insurance company contacted them, set a quick appointment and serviced my needs quickly. They told me my car would be ready in two days and it was, cleaned and fixed. I spent very little time in the office and received regular updates via text. Everything was handled so well. Got hit by a cart at Home Depot and got a nice dent/scratch. Members of a Facebook car group tried to dissuade me from using a body shop because how hard the white silver metallic paint was to match. I’m so glad I didn’t listen and went to Caliber. They matched the colors perfectly! The adjuster I worked with was awesome (Mathew M.), he went above and beyond. This is a new car and I had some nasty chips and they touched them up as nice little surprise.I hope I never have to go to the body shop in the future but if for some reason I do, I definitely be back!

This place is run by uncommunicative crooks who overcharge folks. They wanted to charge me $3500 for a repair that ended up being $1900 just down the road.After a collision my insurance directed me to Caliber Collision. After many trips there trying to get simple questions answered and playing phone tag with the rude receptionist I decided enough was enough and moved my vehicle to another mechanic down the road. They dared to charge me to put the bumper back even after I specifically told them not to do anything until I hear from my insurance.I wouldnt wish this experience on my worst enemy!

I went to Caliber Collision for an alignment, new tires and a new wheel. Clarence was my tech and kept me updated the entire time. He was always on top of what I needed and made sure I was aware of what options I had and how much each different option would cost. There were no hidden fees and everything was told to me upfront, prior to them ordering any parts and I was able to make each decision on my own. Clarence really looked out for me and did everything in my best interest as if we were family, and I couldnt be more grateful for that. I was rear ended and my bumper had to be replaced. After looking through long list of auto repair shops my fiancee suggested I take my car to this location. He said they did great work on his car and was very happy with the repairs. William Sanchez had worked on his and this year William worked on my car. His customer service was above and beyond what I expected. What stood out about Mr. Sanchez was he listened to me explain my situation. He was sincere and understanding. Also, assured me not to worry, everything will work out. When I picked up my car I spoke Mr. Sanchez and thanked him for everything. My car looked great!! This place does a lot of business with insurance companies. If someone else is going to pay for your repair, they are great. Not sure I would go here if I was paying on my own. Obviously they do a great job, but... its priced at a premium. If you need to be assured that your car will be returned to you as new, then use them.

After an unfortunate event in a parking garage, my vehicle was without a “ pretty” passenger mirror. I’m headed out of town and needed a quick turnaround. However, being Thanksgiving week... I was rear ended and my took my vehicle here for repair less than a month ago. The exterior of the car was fine upon completion but sensors were not working as far as lane merger, etc. The tech and I went back and forth for almost a week concerning this feature on my vehicle. Their stances was my vehicle didnt have and they didnt see it when they removed the previous bumper. I took a paper from Nissan showing the features in my technology package. Even called Consumer Affairs of Nissan to confirm. Finally after requesting a manager, he did some research on my vehicle and repaired the issue. This was a horrible experience as I had to prove to a mechanic things about my car when they are the professionals and then was still handled as if I was lying or something.
