I have used Sure Fit several times to install door locks and replacement locks for my office and my home. They are always on time, professional and courteous. I would recommend them if you need locks replaced or other security work.

I called to get information about their service and pricing, but their people were rude and argumentative. I was shocked to hear how they speak to a potential customer. Totally unacceptable.

After trying to get a schlage key made at home depot and being turned away (no inventory)- I came here and got 5 keys made easily. Really friendly fast service and amazing inventory of Key types.

Do not trust their inspection of doors. They did an inspection on my landlords condo door and said it needed replacing for such a small bent on the door. Attached is the picture. Their customer support said a small bent is indicative of the doors structural compromise. Id say this is indicative of their scam-like business practices. Dont believe me, then hire a private or state inspector and see what they say. I am sure you would notice a huge difference. In addition, they wanted to charge me $2.5k for replacing the door. 2.5x the market value. I am sure not going to do business with them when I become a landlord.

I cant say enough about the service received from Sure-Fit. So quick to help us out in a time of need. Great customer service from the time of the initial call! Great technician who was here in less than 15 minutes. Professional, courteous and sincere. I recommend them highly! I will definitely use them again. Great local Company in Silver Spring.

Very friendly and inexpensive key-cutting. I highly recommend them. I went in to get my car key cut after buying a cheap replacement shell online. The guy took two seconds and cut my key perfectly. I was able to transfer the button base and chip to the replacement shell, and it works like a charm. In total, I saved over $100 by buying the shell key through Amazon and getting the key cut with Sure-fit, instead of going to the dealership. Thanks!

Sure-Fit reached out to me and apologized for my the initial poor service after my previous review and experienced. I got a very reasonable quote from them for some locks for a local school. They are very knowledgeable of the many rules governing installing locks on classroom doors. I think my initial experience was an outlier and I do recommend them now.

We were delighted Sure Fit could send a technician to our house the day of our move in to re-key all the locks. However, we were a bit surprised by the price tag. The technician needed to go back to the office to collect proper supplies. He charged us for his time to and from the office--about an hour! Does it really take three hours to re-key the locks on three doors? Technician also dinged the front door when installing new lock. Might look for a more cost effective option next time.

After a change in staff we were looking to get new keys cut for various doors and installing new key locks on old doors. They were very accommodating. I was able to send them pictures of all of the issues we had and they gave me price quotes. They also did our Medeco keys. The technician, Michael, came out and he was very pleasant. Overall the best experience I have ever had with a locksmith company from the initial call, to my various questions, to coming out and completing the work. Will recommend them to others.

Just needed some keys cut. The gentleman that assisted me was very polite and I was in and out in less than five minutes.

Had an attempted break in to my small veteran-owned business and needed the steel door replaced. The installation tech was very good. The VP and customer service for organizing the scheduling and contacting me regarding appointment, quote and status was horrible. Non-existent, actually. I had to contact them to get my quote after waiting 2 weeks. Also had to call two weeks later to find out my appointment was set up for 2 days later. And the price they quoted was different than the price they quoted the insurance company, so now I am out $1700. In dealing with the VP to express my concerns, he continued to be degrading and tell me it was my fault and provided no assistance or empathy. Absolutely horrible experience. Would recommend that others use ANY other company than this one.

Sure-Fit sent a locksmith to my door promptly when I called. They did not charge me for the call, however. While I waited I had managed to reach my husband for help. Very neighborly!

He showed up in less than an hour and let me in my car. He was very polite and handled the situation well.A thank you to him.

We had a new lock installed with a digital keypad this year. Unfortunately, we’ve had to call half a dozen times because of issues with the thumb press (which render the door completely useless, as in the door cannot he opened at all). They keep coming back to fix it but it never lasts. We wish we had never used this company because rather than permanently fix the problem, they continue to charge us for service visits to fix their faulty hardware. Do not recommend.

The most important is that they are authorized by Medeco. Just be ready to wait since all Assa Abloy keys are done from the factory.
