The Home Depot stores have 10,000 items. It seems that the only thing they do not have is the one thing that you are looking for. Overall though, theyre pretty good. Im a general contractor and so I am in there a lot. I usually go to the store in Rockville, MD. Im in there a lot and have gotten to know a lot of the people who work there. They are friendly and try to be helpful. Lately theyve been rearranging the store which I do not like. I used to know the store layout very well, but now every time I go into the store, everything is somewhere else

If you need lumber that requires an associate to obtain, plan to wait for at least an hour!! Ive been waiting in the lumber section for over 45 mins for the associate to return after hes passed me a few times claiming to return shortly.Ive called customer service while Im here waiting and paged for assistance twice, but still NO HELP!!So long for a quick Home Depot run.Horrible experience!

Long lines. Also, you better know what you need and where it is when you go in there. They dont have anyone that can help. And you better know how to make your own keys at the key kiosk too.

Normally I would give Home Depot four stars. They are not perfect, but the employees are typically friendly and try hard. Today changed everything for me.I needed some help at the self-checkout. I approached the lady supervising that area. Her back was turned so I said excuse me. She whirled around and glared at me. I said, Im sorry. She continued to glare. No offer to help. Frankly, I was quite intimidated. I just said nevermind. I set down the item I was going to buy and quickly left the store.When I got home, I searched for what I wanted on Amazon Prime. I found exactly what I wanted and at a better price. Capitalism works.I am sure I will return to Home Depot because the location is convenient and during the summer I can check out in the garden section. But no more interactions with hostile employees at the self-serve. I am still a little intimidated. I am an elderly 140 lbs. She had to be about 100 lbs more..

Have had great experiences here with the staff. In particular, Pierre was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and passionate about helping us with a bathroom renovation.

We had the most amazing experience with Rene Gonzalez and Sonia Mathew. They were extremely patient, knowledgeable, and conscientious. They went up the machinery three different times to find the items I needed. At other homedepots, associates wouldnt bother checking and would say everything at the top shelf is already at the bottom. Rene stayed after his time to help us.

First time using the tool rental section of the store and it was a great experience. The professionals in this area are courteous, knowledgeable and helpful in person and over the phone.

Door Section, tall white (bald) guy never, addresses you, never ask if I needed assistance, elderly white lady walked by, he spoke and asked if she needed assistance. Go figure! I was there to buy a storm doors for all doors in my house.

Staffs don’t have much info about the store and products. You need to wait long time and most of the time nobody shows up to help. Generally under staff

Had a great experience last weekend. Mia (I think that’s how you spell her name) helped my husband and I buy a grill. She was very busy but immediately offered to help. She was incredibly friendly!

I placed an online order so I would have time to grab my items quickly while on break then return to work. When I arrived I waited 10 minutes watching them scramble to try and find my order. They finally found one item and told me I had to drive to their “mulch pit” to pick up the rest. I drive to this area only to be told they don’t keep what I ordered there, I should just go back inside and find it myself. This place is a joke and the employees have no idea what is happening. How can you email me to tell me my items are ready for pick up then when I arrive send me all over the place to find the items. It would have been faster if I just walked in and got the items myself from then beginning. It is a horrible and extremely flawed system that waisted an hour of my time. Zero chance I will return to this circus

Typical Home Depot experience. Every employee on the floor seems to be 50 yards away and walking away from you. If there was an alternative, I’d go there instead.

Had a really good experience here today. Miki was friendly and helped me with a return when I couldnt find my email receipt. I also had some plywood cut and had to ask a few other employees questions as I shopped. Everyone was 100% friendly and helpful, from entrance to checkout. Will definitely be a regular here from now on.

This home Depot has just finished multiple remodel. A new kitchen show room new signage all over the store and a new restroom.

Its always a different experience in each Home Depot, sometimes better than others. mostly has to do with the local residents not so much the staff as to whether people are polite or not. This location is just okay. I always use the APP!Put things in your cart at home, it tells you if its in stock or available nearby. It also indicates the isle and Bay of the item.Very useful in store, with a map as well.The staff in the tile section seem to know where things are and willing to help. Thanks again Brian.

To whom this may concern- i really avoid writing these reviews. Today 4/25/21 young lady Kaylee showed the worst customer services to myself and another customer. She was gossiping with employee who work paint.My experience today was when I approached the paint counter to ask the cashier a question Kaylee turn around and said yes in a rude way and point me to bay 5.While on bay 5 another customer ask her for help Kaylee cut him off and said no do not work this area, I am late I have to pick up my kid. Kaylee as she was pushing her cart pass she just blurted out go the counter. 6555 little river tunpike store

Insufficient curbside parking spots (4) total. Very chaotic parking on weekends. People who are coming in for regular purchases are parking in the curbside reserved spots. Waited over 20 minutes to even find parking nearby the reserved spots.Update: almost immediately after my concern was posted, extra parking spaces were added and an attendant was posted to help with curbside.

I was dissatisfied today because they refused to return my 🪴 which didnt do well after 2 to 3 months. They took the died plants but I didnt have a refund. Policy says 1yr to exchange if plants is bad.

Getting a working washing machine delivered has been a nightmare and customer service has been useless. Do yourself a favor and order from Lowes instead.

The employees in the Pro area are unprofessional. Always the line inmthe checkout are long but they never help. Im a genersl contractor and visit different Home Depot stores but Silver Spring always is a problem. WhenI asked for pay in the Pro Services the answers is : No..just for phone calls.Bad management

Earlier this week I went to Home Depot to find some wood for a home project. I had a terrible experience with the HD representative so I left. Today, my husband empowered me to go back and get what i needed for my project, so I did. I was so happy I encountered Patrick, who was patient, attentive to detail, showed care about my project, offered advice and taught me many things. Shout out to Patrick for his exceptional customer service!!! YOU ROCK PATRICK IN ISLE 15!!

Remember when sales associates were actually helpful to shoppers? They still are at this Home Depot! No less than 3 workers in 3 different departments greeted, approached, asked if help was needed and then took me over to the requested product or called for someone who could. Wonderful experience!

Well stocked, and online orders/pickups at this location have been efficient. Employees prefer to tell you an aisle number rather than walking with you to find items, but they are overall friendly and helpful. Ive found a few issues with lumber quality, but no big complaints.

This has been one of the worst Home Depot I have shopped at the majority of the employees that work here are disrespectful and the orders online are a waste of time because they send you an email of when you are suppose to receive your items and then don’t let you track your order and they don’t let you see when the delivery is supposed to be besides the date they give it’s not possible for me to loose days at work waiting at my house because they said I would receive all my orders on a certain day and then it doesn’t arrive waste your time and they say they have your order but don’t send it out I get that if there’s a delay but at least they should let you know there’s a delay but they don’t let you track order nothing

Purchased an above the hood microwave on-line. The same model to replace the one in the home. Upon delivery and installation, a service i paid for through home depot, the installer came up with the excuse that the microwave wouldnt fit and wrote on the ticket that tiles needed to be removed. I automatically knew that was BS because the tiles were up there the last time that microwave was installed. So I brought the microwave to my local Home Depot; the one in Calverton 20904 still in the box and unopened. They charged me a $50 restocking fee and I brought another of the same model from them. This time, the installer delivered it and installed it within 25 minutes.Now the microwave is inconsistently heating/not heating. So here we go again. Upon asking about the $50 restocking fee i could arguably use the word extorted out of; Home Depot reps at the store and on the phone back their policy of its relevance. For this reason, this will be the last i make Home Deopt my goto solution.

My trip here today was fine. The employees helped me get what I needed when it was out of stock on the isle.

Worst home depot experience I ever had. Its 6pm now there is no help. We waited for hour for someone help us cut plywood. After all this wait we head to the register, there is only one register open to 40 people really ? Its night mare when home depot is trying to do all self check out.

No help at contractor loading. Employees yelling to move truck from loading area before we could even load. Disappointing given the amount of money spent at Home Depot

Once I found where the kept the wood fencing (outside in the parking lot), I got exactly what I needed.

The home Depot has been really stepping up their game with the pandemic, especially with regard to their curbside pickup.I didnt rate them five stars because the one issue I have is their app which makes it difficult to gauge which items are picked up delivered or shipped to home. And if you want to chipped someplace else like to a friends house or your kids house thats rather unclear on the app and the subsequent flood of emails telling you part of your order is ready.Otherwise its a good experience. I also noted that almost everyone who is working at the store or going into the store was wearing a mask which I felt was really positive.

I did curbside pickup and the first person who came out left the bag on my hood and it didnt have my complete order. I said excuse me that cant be my 4 items in there. She said as she walked away the other items was canceled. I replied or spoke loudly being she was far away now but I just got notification today they arrived. She said she would check and call me. 20 minutes later I called the store. 15 minutes holding they found it and brought it out to me. I understand times are crazy right now but Ive hadnt had this experience at any other curbside pickups. Did I mention meanwhile I was explaining to her my bag fell on the ground off my hood.

Hello, good morning, the painting department is one of the slowest that has been up to now, they only have one worker for all the people who come to look for paint.The manager of this store does not know how to put workers in specific areas to the painting department. very slow

Best HD in the area! Well stocked location. Knowledgeable staff with friendly service. Shopped in most areas of the store and service is the same throughout.

I am finding some items that are cheaper than on Amazon or that Amazon does not even have in stock. Curbside pickup is quick and convenient as long as you are or will be in the area, and I even think that you can let them know when you are on your way to the store as well as when you have arrived.

Typical HD, they had the lumber I needed but I will have to order the router as they didnt have it in stock.

It’s my go to Home Depot. Oftentimes has things that other locations don’t have.

Horrible customer service. I was waiting for my order to arrive at the store for pick up and I got confirmation it was delivered but for some reason no one in store could locate my order. Then 8 hours later at midnight after the store closed I got an email stating I can pick up my order. Dont waste your time here go ANYWHERE else. Staff needs more training or better development from management because what a sh*t show.

Great but a tad bit unorganized I came there for a artificial Christmas tree a specific one long story short they said they were out of that one as stood there why the store clerk look around for bout 7 mins couldnt fine that one as I left out I seen the one I wanted lights all it worked when I hook it up home depot is good but God is great.

From directing me to the Christmas tree areas, to opening trees for me to see, fresh cutting my tree and mounting it perfectly on my car for the ride home .
