Tried 6 different flavors. Most were really good. The brownie batter named something about Cravings was disappointing. Our scoop came from the top of the bucket so just chocolate ice cream with no mix ins. Everything else was very good. Waffle bowl was delicious

Delicious ice cream, love how now brown cow and butter brickle flavors. Some times theyre a bit stingy with the fudge in hot fudge Sundays but its still delicious.

These ice cream treats are fabulous! We might have to check out a whole ice cream cake the next time we stop by, thats how good it was. I had some of the strawberry field ice cream, which was super creamy and had a good amount of strawberry as well. The favorite between us was the smores flavor, which had a great balance of chocolate, graham, and creamy ice cream flavors. Thats what Id recommend.

Discovered this gem while in Sioux Falls on vacation this week and oh my goodness, we would be in serious trouble if this place was in our hometown! The ice cream was absolutely delish and the staff were so incredibly friendly! Definitely, definitely a must on your bucket list if you plan to be in the area and if you are a local and haven’t been here yet, you have no idea what you’re missing out on! 😉

A great local ice cream shop! Stensland has a great variety of flavors and options. Everything from their Farmhouse Original to their sweet corn flavors are excellent. During the colder months I highly recommend their hot chocolate with a scoop of their peppermint ice cream. During the summer I also love their many ice cream floats or a waffle cone - delicious! They also carry some other dairy products for sale - cheese, milk - and other to go items (including pints of their ice cream).The staff are all very friendly. The restaurant is always clean. There is also indoor and outdoor seating available. Since this location is near the Sioux Falls Bike Trail, its a perfect stop on a walk!

Good ice cream and very friendly staff. $6 for a two scoop which is a bit high but the excellent and unique flavors make up for it. Of note they also have nice bathrooms. Theres more here than ice cream so if youre looking for a fun and unique gift for that distant third cousin, it might be worth checking out.

I love Stenslands! We come in once a week for various items. Sometimes just for ice cream, but everything is wonderful; the sandwiches, the soup, their butter and cream. Stop by! Youll find something you love ☺️

I happened to stop one day looking for a particular kind of ice cream for my mom and they happened to be closed. But the owner was AWESOME!!! He let me in to get the ice cream that actually was going to be a christmas present! He made my day, I told my mom, brother, and boyfriend how nice of a guy he is and the explanation of the A1 enzyme!! Ill be going in the fall to SDSU for wildlife and fisheries sciences and i thought that the A1 enzyme thing was so neat!!! I still havent forgotton it! I promise well be back for more ice cream!

Best ice cream in town. While you can get their quarts or ice cream all over town now, its still worth stopping in for the special flavors like Honey Lemon Lavender.

The girl who made my cone put a whopper at the bottom so (i assume this is why) the ice cream wouldn’t leak through once it melted. dunno if this was a training thing or something but it was absolute GENIUS. give this girl a raise!

Fantastic locally owned creamery. Best dairy products in Sioux Falls, maybe even the country, and they have everything dairy related. Outstanding ice cream and lots of different flavors of it. The most delicious milk that Ive ever had, I didnt even know milk could taste different then what you buy at most stores but its true! And if youre looking to buy butter or cheese this is the place to go. They have plenty of different types or cheese to suite whatever youre looking to make. Literally can not praise this place enough, words just cant describe how wonderful this store is. So stop reading and go!

This is our first time visiting Stensland Family Farms. The icecream is fantastic! My hubby likes the cinnamon stick flavor and I have tried the peanut butter brownie sundae-- so good! Theres also fresh milk, chocolate milk, cheese curds, frozen pizzas, and more!

As ice cream lovers, Ever since moving to Sioux Falls weve been looking for the best place to get ice cream to replace our favorite shop. Unfortunately its not here...The ice cream was just OK. It didnt have much flavor to it. We were hoping to find our favorite classic: strawberry ice cream! But they only had the base ice cream with strawberry bits (Strawberry Fields), and it was just really plain. The waffle cone was also a bit tasteless. At the bottom of the waffle cone there was this weird chocolate ball, kind of like a Whopper candy piece, and it was really sour and left this horrible aftertaste. So after finishing our treats there was nothing memorable or satisfying... I dont think it was worth the high price. Tried it, dont need to come back. Time to keep looking!

When youre greeted with samples of squeaky cheese, you know youre in a good place ;) Just passed the squeaky cheese is a fork in the road; one way is to try out a cone, dish or any of their crazy a la modes in mason jars, ice cream sandwiches, etc or to create your own gift basket with their tasty treats and cute kitchen gadgets. In this area, youll also find the freezer stocked with pints of single flavors, assorted ice creams in a convenient box and some take and bake pies as well as meats.I went with the sweet corn ice cream with praline and we took home a pint of white chocolate peppermint stick - they were all so good!! The sweet corn tasted like really rich vanilla with a more buttery taste - divine!

What a great place. My daughter was given a gift certificate to Stensland’s I’ve Cream shop so we visited the store for a treat. We were greeted by a super friendly young woman who fished out some of the most delicious I’ve cream I’ve ever had. The store is clean and has a fun atmosphere. The pricing is totally reasonable. We had ice cream for three people and bought a package of some super yummy garlic cheese curds and our bill was as a about twenty bucks. We’re happy to support a family business and the farm to table concept. Great job Stensland Family Farms, we will be back!

I’m lactose intolerant, but the first time I went in Mark explained their pasteurization process to me and sent me home with some milk samples to try after my ice cream. Guys, I didn’t get sick! Game changer in my life! They are always switching up flavors, everything is delicious, and it’s always a great experience. They do sell their milk, cheese, and ice cream in greater quantities at the store as well as their dipping cabinet.

It really feels like a family operation in the middle of Sioux Falls. They do charge a premium for the high quality ice cream, but no more than other premium ice cream shops. Hands down the BEST ice cream shop in the United States. Being someone who is lactose intolerant I never thought Id be giving any ice cream place a review, let alone FIVE STARS! The Stensland family knows what theyre doing when it comes to making ice cream that tastes phenomenally fresh, a variety of flavors that rotate regularly (and some that are staples) and most of all.. They do not give me tummy issues.. Ever!

Newly opened, Great Service, Tons of FlavorsSo far this place has a lot to offer. Several delicious varieties of farm-fresh ice cream with other farm-to-table items for sale including fresh milk and farm raised ground beef. The smell of homemade eagle cones greets arriving customers. Theres not a ton of seating, but the establishment has lots to offer.

The ultimate farm-to-table experience! Great ice cream and other dairy products crafted by folks who are passionate about them. I highly recommend taking a cooler and stocking up!

Stenslands Family Farms came out to Bethany Meadows in Brandon and gave a fantastic presentation about their farm and their ice cream and even passed some out! The residents still talk about it months later. Im the Activities Director and recently called them with a last minute request for Pasteurized Heavy Cream because I could only find Ultra Pasteurized in the stores and they made a half gallon and set it aside for me the next day. I can confidently say this family has great service and great product.

One of our favorite places to go to for dessert! A good amount of gluten free ice cream options to take home so our daughter with Celiac disease can enjoy.

Amazing place with the only milk I can drink! I am lactose intolerant and Stensland has a process that for whatever reason helps the milk not hurt my stomach when I eat and drink their milk products. I literally drank a half gallon of their chocolate milk in two days after discovering that information. Great Service and TASTY Ice cream, cheese curds, and other dairy products!

This is by far the best Ive cream I have ever had. The Mamas Mounds are my favorite flavor. My wife loves the Heavenly Holstein. The service is amazing and the staff is so friendly! We have also had their amazing egg nog and chocolate milk! We will be back many more times.

Best ice cream I have ever had-- My whole family agrees it is even better than SDSU ice cream. Family-owned and run business, staff are very friendly, patient, and fun! The only hard part is deciding which flavors to try! Luckily they have a sampler bowl where you can get six different flavors.
