To be as big of a corporation as Walmart is, this has got to be the poorest run. Shelves are bare,checkouts are standing in the aisles,self-checkouts are no cash, card only. Stand in line longer to pay than it takes to get the items you need. Absolutely pitiful. Will look for other places to shop before I go back . If I could give 0 stars I would!

Overall the trip was ok but this store along with a few others really need new employees and training on how to treat people. The staff at this location especially, follow customers like they are thieves to the point that you don’t want to go back to this store.

Hardly any produce instock, nor meat, their was a roach just walking around where the produce is. Products placed over wrong labels/ prices.

Just went here today for food shopping. Big place had good TVs for sale normally have them in the back but today it was in the front great prices.Always good customers support never had a issue with Walmart its my go to place for everything. Walmart normally has everything you could need brought TV, audio equipment, tires, clothes. Just a great place overall oh and for some odd reason some registers was cards only was disappointed because I had to go stand in line but wasnt really a issue to be honest.

The cashiers were rude and they had a reason to be...three cashiers had their lights blinking for over 3o minutes as I stood in the line and no manager even tried to come and help... one cashier had her light on for over 45 minutes and it caused the lines to really back up... still no manager but you could see the managers standing around talking to each other and laughing I just pushed my cart to the side and left.....I dont think I will be going back

Typical Walmart. Absolutely zero customer service. No checkout lanes ever open and they expect you to use self checkout and do their job.

Well Walmart is a good store always has what i need BUT U CAN NEVER FIND PEOPLE ON THE FLOOR TO HELP THE CUSTOMER. 😥and he mixed my paint but he had no idea what color it wad called an it didnt match.

Sorriest place I have ever been too. Every time I come here, I instantly remember why I like target and sam’s club better. The amount of registers they have and yet only 2 are open. Oh and self checkout is card only. Save your time and go somewhere else!! You’ll spend more time waiting to check out than you spend actually shopping.

Ive been shopping at this walmart for 21 years. Parking was great on todays visit. Since they offer both self service checkout or being checked out by a cashier the wait was not long at all. The store was clean and buggies were plentiful.

Compared to the SmithfildWalmart is day to night. Shopping in thee Clayton Walmart is cleaner, nicer employees are nicer, bathrooms are cleaner items to choose from and much more organized.. Smithfield does not have enough handicap parking spaces, more knowledable employees and more handicap scooters that actually are charged and ready to go. This needs to be brought to higher management.

Was looking for work boots found them,bought them and left easy in and out service

Cleanest Walmart Ive ever been in. Well stocked.

The frozen foods section was surprisingly low in stock. The shelves were not stocked. The produce was good. I must have come on the wrong day! The beef along with other meats were all gone!

This particular Walmart Super Center actually lives up to its name. Its the largest one I have seen from East to West in North Carolina. It is stacked with everything you could want or need and the employees are very kind and helpful, all with smiles on their faces. I enjoyed my visit there today❤

Omg so different down in this state, very clean and helpful absolutely love it...ALOT to choose from, prices are reasonable so no worries there. Will come again.

They had in stock what I needed and the store was clean and their people were nice.

Arrived for 2 new tires at 1:45pm. Departure at 3:30pm. I wanted to keep my original tires and put my 2 new tires on the front. After waiting almost 2 hours my original tires were not put in my car and my new tires were put on the rear. This is the second time this has happened. I will NEVER go to Walmart in Smithfield for tire service EVER AGAIN unless I am in DESPERATE need for tire service!

I’ve solely been using the pickup option lately & it’s been excellent! Staff members are always prompt in getting my orders out and are very friendly.

Long lines at check out, need more help when people decide its time to go back to work. Something has to give, either our government put a stop to prices doubling every decade or we will not be able to buy anything, especially if the 15/hour minimum wage has to be implemented to get people to return to work.

Wal-mart is ok. They have decent prices, but if you need help with anything, you cant find anyone to help. As long as its in reach and available its great. Need help with something locked up? Be prepared to have your patience tested.

I place my order a day in advance and they let me know if theyll be substituting items...if you agree then they let you know when your order is ready for pickup. Very nice.

The store was crowded with people. There were people lined up to check out and there were no cashiers. The only registers open were self check. Im sorry. They are not paying me to work. I am paying them for goods I am buying. I refuse to self check for multiple reasons. I got my cell phone out and called the store to speak with the manager and was told he was at lunch. Whats wrong with that picture. The store you are in charge of is backed up with customers and you have no registers open but you take your lunch break. Sorry but thats just wrong. Be glad he doesnt work for me because he would be out of a job.

Staff has accused me off stealing, (which didnt happen) and refuses to honor prices. The store is in complete disarray and there are no employees to be found. 4-5 employees are always by the door receipt checking, but no one is on the floor restocking, pricing, fixing displays etc. Management never seems to be on the floor, but hiding in there offices and clearly portray inconvenience and annoyance at doing their jobs. Its because of several repeated bad shopping trips, that I will take my business elsewhere and not shop at this WalMart. I have reached out to corporate about my concerns and have heard nothing.

They are not enforcing the mask mandate. So many customers walking around without masks. Shelves are empty with employees standing around and pallets full of product to be restocked. Can never find help when needed. Cashiers are rude. The only good thing about this Walmart is grocery pickup. The employees who bring out my groceries have always been the sweetest. Let them accept tips! They deserve it!

Local store for our area Smithfield/Selma but it should be larger more well stocked, higher upgrade, first in newest products and never out of product! WELL GUESS WHAT? NONE OF THE ABOVE QUALIFY!!

The store was pretty well stocked unlike most Walmart stores that I have been in to. Staff was very friendly (when we did see one).

Tried to go through self check-out but couldnt because they wouldnt take cash. I think it defeats the purpose of getting out quickly if it limits who can use it.

The store is not clean, the grocery pickup is the only way I will shop here so I dont have to go inside. Grocery pickup is mostly positive.

Ridiculously long lines... Plenty of employees but they didnt open registers to help... unbearably HOT....no AC at all...not even a fan

I did the pick up/delivery and my groceries were ready to be picked up about 30 minutes before appointed time and the lady that brought my order out to the car was very nice. Made me feel special.

Showers are dirty I switched rooms and there was hair in both of them, and some sort of black substance on the bottom of the shower curtains. Beds and toilet are clean however

Pickup was bad, they just threw stuff in the car ruining alot of items, they substitute alot even when they have the items in the store. Vegetables that are picked by shopper are often the damaged or old vegetables.

Not one of the best stores. Ive never seen so many empty spaces in a Walmart except for maybe during a hurricane. Definitely could use some work.

The most walmart, walmart I have ever been to. Rude/disfunctional workers and super weird vibe. We made our trip as quick as possible because it was pretty chaotic in there. I would avoid this location at all cost and to only shop here if you have loterally no other option. It was a mess from start to finish.

The cashiers are very slow theres not enough open cashiers and the self checkout does not take cash so it really slows you down other than that it was good

The scan and go registers are set up mostly for debt and other forms of cards. I was paying cash and was pennilized required me to continue to wait I left Walmart in Clayton NC. You need to have your machines set up for both.

Minimal items (undies, shirts)for mens medium check your bags when you leave the store if you dont you will leave something behind. Credit cards dont work in machine

The store is becoming better stocked following the pandemic. During this visit a staff member was very helpful in helping me find a couple items in the pharmacy area.

This Walmart is clean and usually has everything I need. The shelves are stocked often. At times it can get crowded.

Walmart is my favorite store... clean and stocked. And every year Santa can be found hanging out.

I find this Erwin location a bit dirty. Shelves do not appear to be wiped- dusted down before stocking shelves. Being the shelves mis- labeled, under stocked( I see missing items on top of the steel ) cleaning shouldnt be an issue.Employees have always been very friendly and helpful.The employees over at the deli- my husbands favorite department- very kind and courtiest ( did I spell that right?)

Clayton is closer to me but I will drive the extra mile for Debra in Deli. She is always very kind and very customer focused. Smithfield Walmart aisles are very clean, shelves stocked and the atmosphere is nice. The employees at the store are very nice and well-mannered.

Hopped in here to get a money order and Michelle was super helpful in directing us to the right place! Donna helped us get the money order quickly and easily. No issues and very happy!!

Sometimes I go and its smoother than other times. Today was not a bad experience, but the cashier was very slow. There was only 1 person in front of me and we were in the line for 20 minutes. Other than that I love that store.

Stayed overnight, it was quiet and got a good nights sleep. The store was clean and well stocked, although they could have had more checkouts open.

Self check out is impossible. Debit card only.No cash allowed.

Try to avoid Walmart on a Sunday the had three busloads of Mexicans ..The shelves of food was a bit skimpy and lines still long even though they had eight registers open as well as the self-checkouts

Not my favorite Walmart for the pharmacy, somehow they keep screwing up my prescriptions this has been three months worth of them messed up. Most Walmarts have no problem but for some reason this one does.

Its really no different from most Wal-marts I have been to but I go there a lot so Im familiar to the employees and theyre typically very kind to me.

Nice general goods store, though you may want to visit other places for premium items.

I be so glad when the target nearby opens so ill never if i can help it visit a walmart again. The attitude, appearance, demeanor of alot of their workers is below classless and the walmarts are consistent with this. I tried to use credit instead of debit for a card and the cashier while i was still asking her a question snatched the receipt and handed to me. A few weeks ago a mgr stood in front of me for minutes and didnt say do u need anything or can i help u then a worker came over and i said im checking to see if its ready and THEN the mgr said something. Omg

This store in Smithfield is dirty and poorly stocked. I rarely go there. Id rather drive 20 minutes to the one in Goldsboro rather than the 4 miles to the Smithfield Walmart near me.

Had a nice day shopping and found an amazing gift that I was looking for.

Most of the shelves were cleared out, long lines, etc. While I know what to expect at a Walmart vs. target this location could use a bit more refinement.

You can still tell the effects of Of the current market because a lot of the shelves are still bare. They had 8 boxes of duck steel shot. Worst part of whole visit was only 2 registers open with over 30 people waiting in each line went to self check out checked out in 10 minutes.

Caught some great deals on clothes. 10 dollar packs of socks were a dollar. The store had the shiniest floor Ive ever seen in a Walmart.

I do pick up now at Walmart instead of going in. I hate the long lines and when I get there they bring my order right out to me. So much easier and stress free..I will give it a five for the Pick up Service..

Its very convenient being able to food shop and shop for other various items in one store. They are very reasonably priced. One down side I ran into was asking employees where something was and they didnt speak English. Other than that I think Walmart has come a long way from when they first opened.

Chicken looked like a bitty instead of chicken and for the price you pay it was ridiculous. This is the second time this has happened.

First time there in 3 weeks, found everything I needed except for wild birdseed and upon asking was lead right to it. Initially went there for my Covid-19 shot, but picked up a few things while I was there.

This Wal-Mart needs help ! Not enough inventory and pet and other sections are a mess .

Used garden center entrance because what we needed was on that end. Closed thise registers and door as we were walking up to check out. We had to walk to the front of the store, used self checkout and was then harrassed by a clerk wanting to check our receipt as if we were thieves. Then she was very smartmoithed when we said no.
