Joe Anderson is a pip. Very knowledgeable about the inventory and very helpful when questions r raised. He stuck with me through the whole process, from the frustrating search for just the right forever home to helping with the paperwork in finalizing the purchase. All in all, dealing with Clayton Homes and Joe was very satisfying.verysatissatisfyingexperience.

Storefront located right off US-27. Deliveries at 5pm that shut down the highway 10+ mins at a time.I called to ask about this and the receptionist didn’t apologize or explain other than to say that they can shut down the highway for up to 25 minutes and that I could call the state police if I wanted to.Thanks neighbor...

My brother bought a double wide there, they put it together, but left no steps! He was told they dont include steps. So if I buy a $70,000 home, you cant leave steps for us to get in it??

Don’t bother trying to buy anything here. Left us standing in the lobby. When we decided to leave someone finally came out and spoke to us. Told him we were just getting started in the process and needed to know how things worked. Asked him if they had land. He said no. No other attempt on his part to provide info. I asked if we bought land how much was required for a mobile home. He shrugged his shoulders and said that was too broad of a question. Really he was an unhelpful uninterested sales person. Won’t waste my time with Clayton

Great people, great choices on homes. Billy very kind and helpful as well as the owner. My son bought a beautiful home from them. Give them a visit if you are looking to buy a home.

Billy Luster is a wonderful guy! Nice and sincere. The only reason I did not give this place a 5 star is because his Co workers, Joe and Chris, are rude and nasty.

Very disappointed. Was interested in a mobile home with 2x6 outer walls. Salesperson Joe was very condescending and wanted to know why that was so important to us. He also seemed very upset about the fact that I was interested in a home on the Clayton lot in Cookeville, Tennessee. Asked multiple times why I wanted to give them business instead of Somerset lot. He got very angry with me for notcommitting to a home even when he acted like my request for 2x6 walls was absurd. He was nice until he saw I wasn’t committed and then showed his true colors. Bottom line- wouldn’t ever give them my business!!! Called back to complain and got Joe same salesperson on the phone and he would not let me speak to a manager! Said there was not a manager of that lot when I asked.

Nice homes as long as you dont have questions they just give you key stay in there office

My sister in law bought a double wide in Somerset to be placed in Tennessee. Brought first half then left second half sitting at state line for days !!! Finally got it, they got stuck in the yard. They told her she would be in by Thanksgiving 😡 they won’t be In by Christmas !!! Still not put together, painted or plumbed NOTHING !!!!! It’s just setting in the yard in 2 parts!!!!Once you buy they forget about you. PATHETIC

Chris Poynter is the man with the plan he has been super great working with us to get our modular home we cant wait to get moved into it and make Stanford Kentucky our permanent place to live.

So when the lot landlord raises rent, and your can’t afford it you have to move. Trouble is once a trailer home is set and it settles if you try to move it you’ll basically destroy it. But of course Clayton would never tell you that.
