Service has been prompt, on time. and accurate. Communication is above average and reports available when needed. Aubrey does a good job with scheduling appointments and following up on inquiries. Work performed was timely and accurate. Overall, a positive experience and I would recommend using Koorsen.

Koorsens from day one of working with them has been a great experience. Easy to talk to and always transparent about everything they are doing. With the recent ice storm that hit our area up here we had to have them come out and help us with out aging system. Everyone from the tech on duty, the ladies in the office and big man in the office at the shop has supported us with getting back up and going. All I can say is that every one of them, every single one of them are FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!

Very disappointed with Koorsen. We signed a 5-year contract (I know, big mistake number 1) to provide security monitoring for our home. Shortly thereafter, it became apparent that the homes existing Koorsen-installed equipment was not functioning properly on multiple devices and would need to be replaced for an unacceptably high cost. Ultimately, it would cost nearly the same to replace the system completely and start over. Eventually, we decided to cancel our contract as we were getting nowhere with Koorsen customer service, our service rep who inspected the equipment prior to us signing the contract was unresponsive, and we saw no positive way to resolve the problem. Unfortunately, due to mistake number 1, we had to pay for the balance of the contract, for no service and faulty equipment. Definitely do not recommend.
Ive got to give a shout out to Aubrey Ginzer from Koorsens! She gave us stellar service! Walked me through (hand-held basically) a difficult process. Called and emailed me many times to make sure we were on track. She got guys out quickly during this holiday season. I am so amazed at the top-notch customer service. This company is notorious for showing up at properties and demanding access. They may or may not have an active contract when this occurs. As such many contracts have been removed from them and switched over to more reputable vendors.
They came out to my business where I have a retail store and 2 apartments. I have a total of 5 extinguishers and I have to give 24 hour notice to the tenants before anyone can enter. I made them aware of this 2 years ago. They came about 3 months ago and walked into my retail business and told the employee that they are here to work. My employee had no idea what the guy was talking about. Anyway, he didnt do anything and I was never contacted. They sent me a bill for almost 100 dollars for doing nothing. Im still in dispute with them all while mine and my tenants extinguishers are expired. I will be calling a different company that has people skills and consideration.
Koorsen Sold (your?) account to AFA too?!!!!Warning! Other low rating comments are correct. For the last 10+ years when we went on vacation we used to call SCI Alarm (per their own instructions) and give them the details about where and who was watching our pets in case something happened they would know exactly what is going on. This last year I called koorsen to do the same and got a cold response from a guy who really sounded 420high saying they already had all the info they needed, did not care about the details. This set off a red flag to me so I just recently called to find out when our contract was up and I was shocked when said they no longer had our account and offered zero other info other than the contact info of AFA. So they DID NOT tell me that a month before when I called about the vacation! It appears koorsen has back door sold a lot of the alarm accounts to a bottom feeding company called Alarm Funding Assocoates in West Chester PA without telling the customers. Googling AFA shows a ONE STAR google rating out of TWENTY because AFA is only in the business of buying up failing businesses security contracts to make a buck and not really provide service. I called them and got the contract info I needed but really???? Something not right about all this. Stay away from Koorsen and AFA. Bottom feeders of the Security industry.
Ever since they bought out SCI they have not sent any information to us at our building it is cost us money because we have had to pay the South Bend Police Department for false calls when we try to call them there’s never any answer. Very bad business
Received a call from Koorsen at 3am last night to say they didnt receive a test signal and I should call the company for service. Two weeks ago they called at 2am.There is not much I can do at that hour except lose a nights sleep. Today is Saturday and they are not open until Monday, I will have to set a reminder for myself to call during their very limited hours.This is beyond absurd to call customers in the middle of the night!
Not real happy with the service ever since Koorsen Fire and Security took over from SCI. Our alarm has been going off and sending false alarms to the police, wasting their time and mine. I have made several calls one week before the week of the 4th of July. They came out and just placed signage and hung some stickers on the doors and did not service the alarm. They said that it was because of the holiday and reassured me that they would be out the Wednesday after the 4th. I have made calls since and it is a week after the 4th and yet there has been no technician to come and service the equipment. Be advised Koorsen Fire and Security, you are no the only security company. Miss you SCI!
Koorsen does not want to hydrotest fire extinguishers instead they want to make everyone buy new and cost them more money.Sad they won’t look out for the best interest of their customers. Sad
Horrible customer service. In fact I heard customers are hiring attorneys to get them out of their contracts with Koorsen. Their technicians are poorly trained and have minimal experience. They are buying small family businesses all over Indiana....sad.
