We spent weeks going all over the valley looking for a certain type of flooring that was always out of stock. Wise helped us find some within 15 minutes for way cheaper than anywhere else. They were so helpful. We worked with Lauren and she made the process so easy! Great customer service! Great prices! We had a great experience and will definitely be returning customers!

I was referred to Wise flooring through a family member who had a good experience. After being in the flooring industry myself for 15 years I knew what I wanted and how much I needed. I was quoted a price by the salesman the day I went into the showroom. Upon returning with the samples and having made my selection, I waited for over 30 minutes to speak to my salesman but had to leave and give my order to the secretary because he was helping someone else. He called me shortly thereafter and said he had my order ready to go and asked if I was ready to proceed. After all he said the price was going up in a few days. (Who knows if that was true..) He emailed the quote over with the pricing he quoted me and I said all looked good and to run my deposit. He said he was going to lunch and he would have the secretary send my receipt. After waiting sometime and not ever receiving a receipt, I sent a text message and he said he left at 5:00 and he would send it first thing the next morning.... it never came and I sent two additional messages and no response the entire next day. Finally he responded late that evening that he was very sorry but he was waiting on the rep to call him because he quoted me the wrong price. Turns out he quoted me a price he says was from a 2019 price list. How does this even happen?? He said the price has gone up $6.00 per yard. After all this runaround I went somewhere else. If you provide a written quote you should stand by your price. Lots of bad reviews for this company. I should have done my research before going here. Stay away.

Love, love, love Wise Flooring. Excellent customer service and super friendly. My hardwood and carpet are admired by all who enter my home. I wont go anywhere else.So I needed to change carpet in order to increase the curb appeal of the home I was selling. Compared pricing with Home Depot and Wise came in cheaper and did a terrific job. Wendy is awesome. Highly recommend.

VERY UNIMPRESSED!!! This company came highly recommended by my real estate agent/company. They told me they are a bit pricier but do really good work. I had them do carpeting and vinyl flooring through my entire house that I just bought. They put a hole in the water line going to my fridge. They knew it was leaking because they put one of my coffee cups there to catch the leak. It didnt catch the leak so there was a fairly large puddle of water on the new floors. Most of the trim will need to be re-installed because they didnt put it back where it was. So there is about a 1/4 space between the newly painted walls and the trim. Some of the corners are not flush with the wall so there is a large gap between the wall and trim. They broke some of the trim pieces and just put it up as is. They put a gouge in the wall while removing the trim. Its about a two feet up from the trim. They left a 2 inch by. 1 inch hole if no flooring where the water connection is for the toilet. The carpet on the stairs is horrendous and will need to be redone. The communication with the sales agent is less than adequate. I have had to find things and ask him why they werent done. I would have appreciated an update on things (i.e. why arent tarent my washer and dryer out back into the washroom, when do they plan on doing these things) e toilets reset, why is there no trim, why i

They had several budget friendly options that were still great quality! They even accommodated my rather tight schedule and Arturo & Alex (the crew) were amazing! I am super pleased and will use them again!

Stay away from these guys. It took 2 weeks for them to get me a cabinet quote. When I received the quote they had included install when I told them I didnt need it. They put the wrong color and had the drawer configuration wrong. Then, as if this wasnt bad enough, the lady calls me and tells me she made a mistake on the quote and the price was actually double. Unbelievable. My advice? Go somewhere else.I have to add to this now that they have posted an incorrect response. I never changed anything. My request is the same today as it was the day I first reached out to you. The original quote was missing the scribe molding I had put on my original request. Then I noticed the drawer count was wrong. Then I saw install listed on the quote at $0. When I asked about it it wasn’t $0 it was buried in the cabinet line at $200. I had specifically told the person that I am a contractor and will install it myself. Lastly, I certainly didn’t ask for my initial quote to be the wrong cabinet line and then have you increase the price by $1,000.Your response tries to shift the blame back on me for making changes but I didn’t change a thing. I only caught your mistakes and you had to change the quote over and over again.BTW, you’re very fortunate I caught the mistakes or I would have rejected the cabinet when it came in and contested the CC charge and you would be stuck with $0 and an incorrect cabinet. You’re welcome.And after all this did a manager bother to call me? No. Did anyone try to make it right? No.

The look of the carpet is good however there have been a variety of issues and frustrations with the process.1) We were looking to buy a house and scheduled a time with the tenants for us to view the home and take measurements of the carpet. The person from WISE was an hour late which really upset the tenants.2) After carpet was installed we noticed holes in the wall. When I called to ask about this I was told we were already given and discount price and he could money away from his contractor to cover it. He seemed to be making it a huge issue so I let it go.3) i called on a Monday to pay my balance. I was told they did not have final bill from the installer yet and I should wait. On Thursday that week someone called my wife and aggressively demanded payment immediately saying no one would have told us to wait for a final invoice. When I called back an hour later i was asked if I wanted to pay my deposit. Huge lack of communication from the company.4) The stairs have many nails/staples sticking through them. I have cut my feet multiple times walking up and down my stairs. When I called to address this I was told that i would personally have to take a hammer and correct every nail. This is something the installer should check for as a safety concern.Price was good but it would be worth paying more for a better experience and safety.

I was so excited to discover this business. We had a great time with the designer in the store; she suggested a great solution to a problem we were trying to puzzle out. But that was the end of the good experience. After that, things were pretty much awful. Here are some things that went wrong:1) They installed the wrong carpet. We didnt catch it until it was all installed and we had moved our furniture back in, because it looked very similar to the one we had picked out. But it just didnt feel as nice. We finally took a sample into the store to compare, and found that what they had installed was a much cheaper carpet that looked similar. I DONT BELIEVE THEY DID THIS ON PURPOSE--I think that the installers just grabbed the wrong rolls when they were preparing to come to the house. But when I called the manager, he wasnt kind or apologetic. His response was, If youre right about this (as if I would make it up), this is going to be a very costly mistake for us. No sympathy whatsoever for us, after all the work we had done to move furniture around to prepare for them, and all the work and delay we now had in front of us to prepare for them to come again to fix it. Although they (of course) didnt charge me for the repair of the mistake, they never offered me any kind of compensation for all the extra days of trouble (moving ll the furniture back out a second time), and treated me rather resentfully.2) We had an entire floor of carpet put in, along with two staircases. I was told originally that the work could be done in two days, so I arranged the furniture so that some rooms could be done first, and then we could move the furniture so that the rest could be done the next day (and we would only have to sleep downstairs one night). Because of how we needed to use the rooms, I asked them to begin with certain rooms, but they just sort of randomly installed, so that the moving of furniture was much more complicated. They also told me, once they arrived, that there was no way they could get it done in the time they had originally told me. I would have planned differently if they had been more accurate about that.3) The workers left a mess when they left at night. Im talking parts of their leftover lunch--french fries, etc., on the new carpet. I had to clean up their food scraps! The toilet they had used all day needed flushing after they left. They had picked up some posters from my sons room that must have fallen off the walls as they worked--and set them IN THE SINK of the bathroom. I found them ruined because they had gotten wet.4) The workers made several mistakes. They carpeted over a heater vent. They missed a corner of the stairs and some other sections. I had to have them come back more than once to repair things.All around a miserable experience. I did not ever feel valued or even sympathized with as a customer.

The one star is for the guy who actually showed up to do the tile. He was really kind and awesome. The rest of what you hire a contractor for fell through. Communication was non existent, they showed up a day later than scheduled, even then, hours later than scheduled on the second day. The work wasnt that meticulously done and took days longer than projected. It had to be fixed multiple times, still not 100 but I got tired of scheduling fixes. Was supposed to get countertops done too but the person Wise sent to measure for the estimate gave the wrong square footage which changed the cost significantly from what I expected. Significantly. Couldnt even get my last names right on the forms after multiple exchanges. Just sloppy all the way around. But cheaper than most! You really, really get what you pay for here. I wasnt going to write this review, but theyre telling people the costs are increasing despite this recent economic collapse which felt like yet another sketchy thing to do, so Im finally writing this.

I recently purchased a home, Im as a single mom on a budget but wanted something nice. I got 3 bids, Ty the estimator for Wise came out and gave me a quote the same day. Ty explained much more than the other companies in detail. He was very professional & knowledgeable, about the products and process for install for my master Bathroom reno and my master bedroom floor. The Wise showroom is immaculate and has a huge selection of proudcts. Wendy & Steve the owners, were also very helpful, friendly and accessible and went above and beyond to work with me, my budget and my schedule. Wise was not the lowest but I liked the fact they are a locally family owned company. I chose solid hickory hardwood for my master floor, which turned out amazing, along with 5” new baseboards. My bathroom and shower turned out better than I would’ve ever imagined!It was all complete within 4 days, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Ty did everything he promised, he took the time to answer any and all questions, to make me feel comfortable with my product choices, my budget restraints, and i always felt like i knew exactly what i was getting. I highly recommend Wise flooring, not only to support local shop owners, but also because I really do appreciate Wendy & Steves kindness and their hand holding through what sometimes can be a daunting and scary process. Their company really is outstanding.

Just completed the 3rd flooring project in my house done by Wise Flooring. Previously I’ve had carpet installed in my newly finished basement and ceramic tile in the basement bathroom. This third project was hard wood flooring in the living room that replaced carpet. The tie-in to the existing wood floor was seamless and matched perfectly. Wise has great people to work with. Steve & Wendy are wonderful and helpful. The installers are real professional craftsmen. Highly recommend Wise flooring for your house or project. Nothing like getting the run around. They cant keep a cabinet designer for the life of them, kind of leading me to believe somethings up with management. We have been waiting forever to get some added cabinetry and have continually received one excuse or the other about why the project gets delayed. Would have ditched them long ago but they are the only company that can seem to match the original cabinets. Frustrated

We built a clubhouse for my son in our backyard and wanted some flooring for it. Wise Flooring was generous enough to donate some vinyl flooring for it. I couldnt believe how generous they were and pleasant to work with! We will definitely go to Wise again when we need flooring for our house!

Impressed with the customer service, sales experience and of course the outcome. It started with Ty the sales guy who immediately called and stopped by to give us a bid after filling out our homeadvisor form online. He gave me multiple options for our flooring, including finishing our hardwood floors and laying down new carpet. We were under a time crunch and they got things rolling the same week! After receiving a few bids, Wendy (owner) walked me through the options she had and gave me an education on carpet quality so I could compare apples to apples. I learned a lot and of course, the outcome was gorgeous. Many complements about the carpet were given during our open house. The installer was very professional and did an incredible job. Steve and Wendy have been more than wonderful. I first had them put in carpet in my remodeled basement and other areas. Their crew was wonderful, professional, and did a great job. I then had them tile a bathroom. Again, they did a great job. I had a contractor ruin a wood floor in my kitchen who then promptly disappeared. I knew it would be difficult to match and did not want to replace the wood throughout the main floor of the house. Steve came up with a tile design that worked and have had nothing but compliments on the look. I also had them do all the blinds in my home. Steve and Wendy took the time to find the right look and price point that I needed.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company for price and professionalism, but more importantly the crew. Steve and Wendy treat everyone as a friend and wish others would follow their example. Soon I will be remodeling the master bath. I know where Im going for the tile and floor work.... I verified 3 times that our quote was for all the areas in my house and was told yes multiple times after installation started there was not enough flooring because the bid did NOT include all areas, then they never showed up on time multiple times and they did the worst job re-installing our baseboards. The owner was supposed to call me but Ive never heard from him. I would never recommend these guys. They seemed to not care and did the work so fast and half a**. This was my main floor, laundry room, loft and 2 bathrooms. Super disappointed for the money spent.

My family and I used this company to redo our downstairs flooring. We were very excited and had a great experience leading up to the installation, but we were very mistaken and do not recommend anyone to use their services.We had gone into the store and met Ty. We discussed which flooring we were interested in. He came the following Saturday to measure our space and we spoke about the sale coming up in a week. We told him we would be in that day to confirm our flooring so we could get the sales price. The day of the sale we went in and made our deposit but we’re told we would not receive the $500 credit since our measurements took place the week prior, and not the day of the sale. We were very disappointed since Ty knew we were waiting for the sale but decided to move forward anyways.The morning of installation day we were told they would call us when they were on their way and to plan around 8:00/8:30 Saturday morning. At 8:45 we hadn’t heard anything so we texted our sales representative, Ty. He responded saying we would be contacted when they were on the way and now to plan on 9:00/9:30. We waiting until 10:15 at which we still had not heard anything. We called Ty but he claimed he couldn’t hear us talking on the phone and never answered when we tried calling back. We then called the office since they were now open. The office told us we were now getting our floor installed at 3:00 that afternoon!We had not had any communication from Wise and did all the reaching out ourselves. We were very frustrated that we had not been told about the delay. They told us they left a voicemail and after restarting our cellphone we did in fact have a voicemail from them. They left us a voicemail at 6:30 Friday night letting us know of the delay however we were in the middle of demo and did not answer.We agreed that there should have been follow through and a phone call from them Saturday morning about the delay should have happened, but it did not. We also don’t understand why Ty would have said 9:00/9:30 when we texted him Saturday morning if in fact they knew about the delay on Friday. There was definitely miscommunication and Wise really didn’t know what was going on.The men who installed were great. But we were told it would be a one day job and because of the delay it did not all get done on Saturday which was unfortunate.We spoke on the phone about coming in to the office to speak about the final bill. When we went in the following Saturday the only person there was the receptionist who was unable to talk compensation. She said she would leave a message for Wendy to call us on Monday. She did not. Instead Ty called us on Tuesday. He said he understood our frustrations. We were set to use Wise to install our kitchen backsplash in the next month and our carpet upstairs in the next 6 months. Over the phone we shared our hesitations about future business because of our current experience. Ty said he would speak with his team and get back to us. Few days later we then received an email saying the following “ after a nice normal conversation on Nov, the 26th i thought you and your wife were very nice people. But please make it clear that threre will be NO $500 credit. Which i have to say is completelry insane. Google LEIN HOMES.... COMING DECEMBER 11th.... As you reqested wanting more work done, we are not interested.. Thanks“We found this response to be very unprofessional and honestly quite rude.I’m updating my review since we’ve had a positive conversation with Wise. We were surprised and happy to hear from Wendy. She emailed us after seeing the previous email sent by Ty. She was appalled by his email and apologized multiple times. She also explained to us that we did not qualify for the $500 discount because we did not purchase carpet, it wasn’t because of measuring on a different day like we thought. We really appreciated this! She gave us $50 off the remaining balance. We enjoy our new floors and really appreciate Wendy’s kindness.

Great Experience with the owners. Very knowledgeable staff. I especially liked the fact that even though they are not a large carpet retail store, they offer very competitive pricing.

My floor, although it looks great, has been nothing but trouble. We did carpet and a wood laminate and it seems like every day we find something new wrong with the flooring. Steve did come out and his crew tried to fix a couple things which we were grateful but he also blamed a really poor install on things that do not affect the quality.Before we had the work done, I went through and cleaned everything, screwed down sub-floor to eliminate squeaks and was OCD about making sure everything was in great shape for a flawless install. Having installed a floating wood laminate in my last house, I would say I know a little about how to do it, these guys...clueless. I have countless squeaks due to the floor being too tight to the walls. This was blamed on my island in the kitchen but having spoken to other flooring experts, that is not the case at all. I have quarter round coming up because it wasnt secured properly and I have had to fix.We also have a couple spots in the carpet where some object is clearly under everything (just found that today). There is another spot on the stairs where they must have run out of pad cause it feels like a hole strait down to the wood. For the amount I paid, I would expect more.Unfortunately I would not recommend Wise for your flooring needs. I am now debating what to do to get my floor fixed without breaking the bank.

I recently had WISE Flooring install my laminate flooring and a small tile backsplash .i absolutely love everything. Wendy made several suggestions on color and quality based on what I told her my budget was. I strongly recommend WISE FLOORING.

The tile setter Luis came completely unprepared and uneducated about the job. He did not have the proper tools or materials. He told me it was too difficult to make uniformly spaced joints. I had to call his supervisor to request that he bring a tile saw the next day. He was attempting to set tile in a bathroom floor, shower and shower pan. He had a peanut grinder to cut the tile. I felt like I had to watch him every step of the way. I finally got tired of telling him how to do his job and it shows in how he finished off the shower floor. I regret hiring Wise to set the tile. I wish I would have sent Luis away after the first hour and hired someone else. The supervisor at the store was also difficult to deal with. Anytime I asked for something a little more than the bare minimum, I got push back. I really had to work at convincing them to do the job the way it should be done.

If I could give 10 stars I would. We have done several projects with wise flooring and they have exceeded expectations on all of them. We have had Wise install carpet, tile ( floor and wall) and laminate. Thank you Wise flooring!

Go here, ask for Wendy, buy your carpet, and relax. I had been just about everywhere looking for a good deal on carpet-- Lowes, Home Depot, Carpet Plus, every local company, etc etc. The big box places were at least 3 weeks out and considerably more money.I eventually found a different local business (that shall not be named) that was less expensive than the box stores but I still felt like they were ripping me off. I found Wise through Google reviews, hoping everything said about this Wendy lady was true. It was.She explained everything to me, didnt talk down to me, and made sure I got a great product.In the end Wendy got me the upgraded version of the carpet I had seen at the other vendor, better pad, was $500 cheaper (!!), AND came in two weeks faster than the other company. Stop looking at places that will rip you off, go with Wise and work with Wendy.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional group of people. Extremely disappointed. They placed our tile the wrong direction after we had taken pictures and spent time in person going over everything. Then, instead of fixing the issue, they blame the customer and pull off the job. I am glad that they did, but I would NOT recommend their services to anyone.

Our home burned down. Wendy and Scott provided the flooring and countertops. Working with Belfor, the restoration company, was a nightmare, but Wendy and Scott helped weather the storm and did a great job. Good vendor. Good people.

If there was a zero rating, this place probably deserves that. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. You will probably get the product you need but get ready to deal with the worst people, they don’t answer the phone or get back to calls- and I’m talking especially about Wendy- she literally yelled at me over the phone, did not return any of my calls/texts.Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, there are enough stores like this in the area.Also, she called me right after this review to complain why I did that, and when I tried to explain, she hung up the phone on me- of course.

I own a cleaning company here in Utah. Often our clients need to replace or have their carpets cleaned and after having bad experiences with many companies (which make us look bad!) We FINALLY found Wise.I cant tell you how many times they have worked late, last-minute and helped our clients. I wouldnt even consider looking elsewhere. They have cleaned the carpets in MY home many times and when its time to replace my flooring, I will be using them myself.They are definitely worth the call, and they are always welcome to use me as a reference. We are new home owners whose flooring was installed by Wise Flooring. We have had two separate foremen (point of contact between us and various contarctors and sub contractors on our home). Both of these gentlemen and I have had the same experience with Wise Flooring since March of this year when we began reporting issues with our flooring.Granted the issues could be related to poor install or manufacturing defects, nonetheless, Wise is on the hook for warranty repair..legally, until my home warranty expires in Feburary and arguably longer. The foremen could have been yanking my chain...and if Wise hadnt treated me the same way Id be inclined to give Wise a bit more credit.In my experience, Wise has NEVER returned a phone call. I personally have left 5 messages with Wise, including messages left to the owners Wendy and Michael, Ive left messgaes with humans and the machine.I have been in contact with Pete, the gentleman who is responsible for directing the tradesmen. Pete is the best at responding. However, not even Pete is able to get the tradesmen to show up. I have sat at home two full days ..days sceduled and confirmed for work to have only one person show up. (Their carpet repair man is awesome no complaints about his work at all).No one seems to be in charge, willing to follow up, or take responsibilty for deplorable customer service.I held for 10 minites to get Wendy on the line who promised me all would be managed in the week..a month later I am still leaving messages trying to get on a repair scehdule.Its unacceptable business practices. The customer should never have to call at the end of the day to say..hey man i thought we were scheduled for 8am this morning whats going on?I will happily update this reveiw upon work completion.

Update 2021:We are doing some renovations to our kitchen which required us to pull up the installed laminate flooring Wise installed and found out why the floors creaked and buckled all the time (per my post below)....and it has nothing to do with the spacing of the headers that Wise claims. The creaking and buckling of the floors happened because when Wises installers removed the tile, they removed all the nails in the subfloor and didnt replace them. The entire kitchens subfloors were just sitting there unsecure, so when you walked on the floor, it would raise, creak, etc. New screws were inserted into the subfloor, laminate reinstalled and guess what....no sound whatsoever. If you plan to use Wise, make sure you watch every single step.Do not use Wise Flooring! You will spend additional money hiring another contractor to finish the job. Dont be scammed by the fake 5 star ratings.This is a long review but it is completely honest. If you do not have time to read, please scroll to the bottom for a quick overview.We started the process with Wise back in June of 2017 for the install of Manington laminate for our office, kitchen, and living room and carpet for the upstairs, which totaled just shy of 14k that we paid for in cash to Wise. The project is now finished in Sept 2017 and not because its complete, but because we just gave up in working with them. I have to hire another contractor and pay 2k to fix what they messed up on.Just like the other commenters, we have had nothing but issues in working with every person at Wise. We started with the kitchen first as the carpet needed to be special ordered. They were ones behind schedule/late but we were forgiving and continued through. The process took about a week, which we thought was amazing.....until we saw why it was only a week. When Wise claimed they were finished, the entire floor squeaked, cracked and had extreme flex throughout the entire floor. In addition, the floor and outside the house was a complete mess. They didnt clean up. Juan, their sales rep, stated the flex was normal and they dont clean the floors. He stated, we dont do that. Its your job to clean. In frustration I called Steve who agreed to come look. Just like other people said, Steve blamed it on our sub-floor, beams, anything he could blame other than his team.I was furious and threatened to cancel the carpet install until this was resolved. He agreed to fix the issue once we found out his installers never prepped the floor when the tile was removed....which is against Maningtons install guide/warranty. Steve agreed to fix this issue but only fixed half of the floor.By this time the carpet came and was to be installed. Supposedly, this installer was the best installer in the state......I fail to see this as the installer ran out of pad and tried to hide cardboard in its place, uneven carpet, UN-stretched and not installed under baseboards in some areas, and visible seams throughout.Overall:1. Total project is several weeks/months behind schedule.2. Rude management (they will argue with you and claim everything is your houses fault and not theirs..our house is 4 years old)3. Wise has been over a total of 6 extra times to fix issues they created.4. We still have poor laminate installed as half of our sub-floor wasnt prepped. I wonder if Manington will warranty laminate due to this?5. Squeaky and popping out laminate6. Scratches and dings all over our house due to careless installers.7. Visible seams in carpet8. Carpet installer replacing pad with cardboard9. Carpet installer not stretching all carpet10. No installer has cleaned up after themselves. Be prepared to clean up after them.11. Used our $600 rug that was in storage in the garage as a tool mat. Yes..this is completely true.This company should be reported to Utah licensing, BBB and their dealer privilege revoked as they perform poor quality, do not prep and give a bad names for the products they install.Thank you for your time.
