The stuff was very friendly and ice cream is very flavorful. They have lots of fun flavors. Be prepared for lots of taste bud overload.

The Service at Rockwell is always so extremely slow! The red head just sits in the back cuz she doesnt want to work and they dont care if everyone waits 45 minutes. They are way inefficient and need better training and supervision to speed things up.

There’s a lot of places that make weird, but good ice cream. Last Course has a maple bacon flavor that’s off-putting at first glance, but ends up being good.Rockwell on the other hand, simply has the best ice cream. More than just your basic flavors, but flavors that sound as good as they are. My favorites are the Biscoff and the honey comb. My wife loves the s’mores. You gotta try this out!

This place has some amazing ice cream. My wifes favorite is the GOAT. If youre a fan of goat cheese then youve got to at least try a sample. It sounds weird but its surprisingly good. So far my favorite is smores, but Im trying something new every time, and havent been disappointed yet.

So awesome I like icecream and places named Rockwell. ( I like rocks) this place has the best wooden taste test spoon Ive ever tried. Although it rises confusion when I ask for a sample spoon and they try to put icecream on it.

Had a really good experience here. The employee who helped my friend and I was super kind the whole time. He noticed us looking around and asked us if it was our first time. It was and we told him so. He immediately started giving us relevant information plus the most popular flavors. I got the honey comb. Im not normally a big fan of honey, but I have heard good things about it. It was good, just super sugary (but what would one expect from honey?) Its a bit pricy, but q good experience.

Just before closing, while at the Daybreak concert four weeks ago, we stopped by Rockwells for an ice cream. The Rocky Road I ordered was basically soup. I had not noticed because I was busy talking with my wife. Only after we left and I took the first bite did I realize I was basically eating soup. We immediately returned to Rockwells but they had closed and would not open the door. Two weeks later we returned and I mentioned what had happened. The cashier smiled and said, Im sorry!, and gave a muddled excuse. There was no offer of a complimentary ice cream. With that, we left and will not return.

We love Rockwell, this is our favorite place to go for ice cream! They have an awesome variety of flavors, some that are more simple and some that are more adventurous. Wow! Just wow! Even thought they are new and still training, my wife and I had the most wonderful experience here! The staff may not be the most knowledgeable yet but they are extremely friendly! Also the scoop sizes are really big! Their new menu board looks awesome too! They made me a lifelong customer! Good job Rockwell!

I tried the Pizookie which is a cookie baked fresh in the oven with your choice of ice cream on top. It was delicious! The staff were also SUPER friendly and helpful. 10 out of 10 recommend. The pricing wasnt too bad either, average for ice cream shops.

Good, but not excellent. I probably would have given it 3 stars were it not for the great service. The place was packed and the three young women running it were doing a fantastic job of getting people through.

Can’t praise this place enough! Seriously, their ice cream is top notch! My personal favorite is their Honeycomb ice cream. If you haven’t tried this place, it’s definitely worth visiting. Their flavors are original and made from scratch. I’ve read some poor reviews, but learned that this place has since reopened under new management. TRY IT - you can thank me later.

So great!! The ice cream is creamy and stretchy which is what I think good ice cream should be-just my own personal opinion. But yah the servers are great, super nice and also really patient. I’m pretty indecisive when it comes to making choices so not feeling rushed to order something is super refreshing! Great place would recommend 10/10

Went in on a Saturday around 7.30 pm not crowed and service was fast and friendly. We got a few flavors and a cookie. The ice cream I got was cookies and cream and it was perfect. The cookie I got was more on the crunchy side and I prefer mine to be on the gooey side side..but still a good cookie. Definitely going back!

They have the best tasting ice cream with such fun flavors that you wont find anywhere else. The portions are generous and the ice cream is very satisfying. We love to come here anytime we find an excuse to celebrate with ice cream.

What wonderful flavors are found at Rockwell! And the counter help couldnt be beat! Those girls were welcoming, fun, invested in their work. We tasted several flavors before we chose. And they were very helpful with their descriptions and fun attitude. Its a pricey treat, but worth it!

This is my favorite ice cream place. Not just in Utah, but anywhere. The ice cream is amazing.

For real ingredient ice cream, this is a huge win. All their flavors are made with actual fruits, candies and cookies, apple chunks, grapes, granola or this/that. No artificial flavors that taste like syrup paste! So yeah a single scoop (good size) might be a full 3 dollars but you are paying for the unique quality for sure. Totally worth it! Fun date night location, walk around the block enjoy art or a near by restaurant. Staff is also patient, let me try all the flavors I was genuinely curious about.If you dont care about quality, freshness or flavor and three bucks is just too expensive for you. Go to McDonalds.

They have some really interesting ice cream flavors. The GOAT flavor isnt for everyone, but you should try it. Its like sweet and savory. I got butter pecan, and found myself craving it days later. The people who helped us were nice as could be. The location is nice and theyre open surprisingly late.

Cute and clean place, and they allow sampling of the different flavors. We got the cookies and cream and s’mores. I sampled several other flavors. My favorite that I sampled (and didn’t get) was the biscoff.The waffle cone had a cinnamon hint to it.The ice cream was okay, but it wasn’t anything special, especially considering how expensive it was. The cookie to ice cream ratio was off (too much cookie).One suggestion I have is to use plastic sampling spoons instead of wood- all I could taste with the samples was the wood, and the wood taste lingers.

Went there last night with some friends, the service was awesome and the staff was friendly. Marissa took good care of us. She was very generous with the portion size which I greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this place for an after dinner dessert.

It was quite tasty. I tried a goat milk ice cream with blackberries and lemon with slivered almonds and rosemary. Customer service was awesome! Would highly recommend.

My family and I went to the South Jordan location(Daybreak) and had the most wonderful experience. Friendly and very helpful customer service. I loved my carmelita and the rest of my family enjoyed a single scoop. We even tried the award winning GOAT. We will definitely be back!!

The ice cream here is to die for. My wife and I drove all the way from Murray just to get ice cream for dessert on our date night. The brownie Sunday contains enough ice cream for like three people by the way so if you dont mind sharing its great! The flavors are unique but not in a just to be unique way. They are uniquely delicious!

I have never had ice cream as good as the Honeycomb ice cream ever. It’s worth the trip to this place alone; next time I go I’m tempted to buy a gallon for the trip home! The staff is all friendly and helpful too. A great place to get ice cream!

Ok Californians, if you have ever had a pizookie at bj’s this one is better! I usually roll my eyes over Utah’s obsession with sweets but this one I totally get. That ice cream is phenomenal. I usually don’t prefer cookies and cream but theirs is unreal. Also, the teenagers working there are wonderful. Very warm and customer service oriented, extremely impressed with them. My expectations were high given my good foodie friend used to travel from SJ to Provo just to get their ice cream and I was not disappointed. Go. Now.

Best ice cream in Utah!

The deserts here are to die for! Especially the Aunt Kathryn’s Sticky Toffee Pudding Sundae! The ice cream is the best in Utah no question about it! The location is perfect and I have felt welcome here at Rockwell every time I’ve come! Rockwell really is AMAZING!!!! Come in and treat yourself!

Saw a young lady drop a cone and the employee was awesome and got her a new cone. The ice cream was good but the way the server just took care of it was great to see. We will be back to try more of the flavors in the future.

The ice cream is super good and the girl out helping everyone was super nice and patient. They were a little slow due to her being the only one out scooping. There were other people in the back one being a blonde haired gentleman and a boy with brown hair on their phones and messing around with each other while she’s frantically getting people’s ice cream.

This place is very dangerous for your wallet... its so good! Classic and bright atmosphere and friendly service, coupled with unique and delicious ice cream flavors.

We come here every chance we get. The prices ARE high and the portions are pretty small (like a few others have complained) but the awesomeness of this ice cream makes up for it. The honeycomb flavor is too good!

I am giving this review in hopes that they pay attention and something changes...First I will start by saying I LOVE their ice cream BUT the problem is that they CONSTANTLY run out of flavors and specifically Honeycomb. We frequent this location 2-3 times a week and tonight was the 4th time we have come when they only have about 5 or 6 flavors to choose from because they are all out of stock. If you are in the business of selling something they only way you will continue to remain in business is if you have something to sell. It is not hard to stock a freezer with ice cream when that is the only thing that you sell. I’m not sure who takes inventory but they are failing. The teenagers who work there never seem concerned when everything is out of stock, they are too involved checking their phones for updates. I have yet to see an adult there working any of the times we have gone. I sincerely hope they address and fix this problem and someone gets trained how to do inventory and keep a running supply. It would be a shame if they went out of business due to a problem that could be easily solved. I won’t waste another trip there without calling first to see what flavors they have in stock.

Let me start by saying how delicious the ice cream is. It is rich and creamy and truly a cut above most other ice creams... Like Cold Stone or Baskin Robbins.That said... This location has FLAWS!I went on a Saturday night around 9 pm.The line was out the door, for food quality that is a good sign. As my group got closer to being served I noticed that three of the four teenagers working would continuously run their hands through and fix their hair or scratch their nose, or touch their face... And go straight back to scooping ice cream with no gloves.Each time it happened, I would hope for them to walk over to the sink to wash their hands but to no avail. One boy scooping ice cream seemed way too concerned that his hair was perfectly quaffed... He must have run his hands through his hair 25 times. No hand washing.No hats, no hair nets.The other young man, took a bathroom break. Came back and started scooping ice cream.Before we left, I had to use the restroom... There was no soap.Of the two young ladies working, it seemed only one had either taken of food handlers class or cared enough to practice common Sense hygiene...One girl took her ponytail out, put it back in and pulled it tight and walk directly to me and asked what I would like. I literally panicked and told her I had not yet decided and said she could go to the next person.The young lady who had been... Sanitary... Finished up with the people in front of me and I quickly asked her for my cone.Once again, the ice cream was delicious.But I feel like this issue falls directly on management and ownership.Train your employees better and make sure they are following the rules... Honest to God this was so bad I feel like it could shut the joint down.Until this issue is fixed, I cannot recommend this place to anyone, and if you have read this review and you find yourself in line at Rockwell ice cream, I invite you to pay attention to the habits of the staff.

The staff was super helpful! A guy dropped his ice cream just outside the door and came back in to order another one. The guy helping us got another employee to help us and made the poor guy a new icecream at no charge. That got them a big tip and our business for life! Plus the icecream is SO yummy

My family and I come here every Monday for family night. Theres almost always a sweet african american girl who really adds to the spirit of the night being so kind and friendly. Their ice cream is always so delicious too, the goat is my favorite and I get it every single time!
