Our sales associate Karen was great and very good at her job she made buying our new sleeper couch easy. The only reason Im not giving this 5 stars is because her supervisor kept calling and interrupting our transaction trying to tell Karen how to do her job when she obviously I knew exactly how to do it and we didnt need his interruptions. Allowing good people to do their job is a sign of excellent leadership. Interrupting and trying to micromanage a good employee is a sign that you shouldnt be in a leadership role.

First time shoppers at Jordans and we were surprised at the selection and quality of furniture. The layout of the store is amazing and we ended up buying an electric reclining sofa. Delivery was flawless with the techs being on time and setting up the sofa professionally. Highly recommended.

Our last couch experience with Furniture Superstore was a nightmare. After two years we were already needing to replace it. After some family recommended Jordans we decided to check it out. Very appreciative of the help we received. Great selection, help when you need it without being up in your face. Lea was so kind and helped us figure out a few sectional combinations that would work for our space. She walked us through all our questions and was so kind!Now we havent gotten the couch, as furniture takes awhile, but customer service and ordering was wonderful.

Walked in and looked around for what we wanted. Was greeted by employees but was not hounded like other places, so I appreciated being able to look around comfortably. When I was finished I was able to push a button for assurance and was able to check out in 5 minutes. Very easy transaction and will go again when I need more furniture.

The folks at the Jordans Furniture, South Portland store made buying a new mattress a breeze. They have this crazy contraption called Bridge It, that analyzes you and your sleeping habits, then makes recommendations as to what type of mattress would be the best choice. Michael, our sales person was friendly, knowledgeable and walked us through the entire process. After trying only three mattresses, we found the one that was right for us and was within our budget. Michaels manager of the mattress department was great and completed the sale when Michael had to leave for an important appointment. If you need a mattress, Id recommend checking out Jordans.

I had been hunting for a blue rug for my living room, forever. I chose one from Wayfair...BIG MISTAKE. They ended up sending me three rugs on three different occasions...all the wrong color and one was even the wrong size!!I finally went to Jordan’s and was greeted by Ryan Wilson. He gave me time to just look, with no pressure (what a concept)!! Then, once I had decided, he made the whole process a piece of cake. The rug arrived a few weeks later and I am sooo thrilled with it. The delivery people were wonderful, polite and meticulous in their work! Thank you Jordan’s Furniture!!

1) Sleep Shop. Jordan’s almost lost me before I ever spoke to anyone because the manager came up & greeted the man & woman that came in after me, but never acknowledged me. He must think women don’t buy furniture by themselves? Or maybe I didn’t look like a serious buyer? Anyway, I was within a few seconds of leaving the store when Mike came along and rescued Jordan’s. Mike was knowledgeable and helpful. He actually listened to me - what a novel concept! I liked the Bridge It system they have and after trying a few mattresses, Mike found the perfect one for me. Not cheap, but I’m worth it and my back will thank me.2) Furniture. The store is amazing and so was Leah. I’m very thankful Mike called ahead and got Leah to work with me. I started out just looking for a bedroom set. Wow, Jordan’s selection is incredible. I had to take two spins around their enormous department before settling in on what I wanted. Leah was incredibly patient as I kept looking & then dismissing colors & styles. I also loved her honesty when I asked about a particular feature on a dresser.In the end, I bought a bedroom set and a living room set. It’s a good thing they closed or I might have bought more! Leah was also accommodating and stayed late to help me with my order.Overall- the salespeople I worked with were both 5 stars, and the store was 5 stars. I am only giving 4 stars because of the incredibly infuriating feeling I got by being overlooked by the manager in the beginning of my experience. Jordan’s is fortunate to have good salespeople. They saved the day!

Customer service was excellent. From the time we entered the store, until the sale was completed. I only wished the very nice lady who brought us upstairs to see the dining sets had stayed with us. We did not know the sales staff worked on commission and we would have liked for her to complete our sale. However, we were also very pleased with Carmen, our sales associate. The staff at Jordan’s Furniture are very knowledgeable and helpful. Not pushy at all. An overall good experience (this was our first time going to Jordan’s). And we especially enjoyed the extra 15% sale!

So many choices we couldnt decide what would work for us. Then we talked to Scott N. he listened to what we needed and showed us several sets that would meet our needs. We bought one and ended up buying coffee and end tables to go with it . 2 weeks later we went back and as soon as Scott seen us he came right over to say hi and make sure there were no problems with our purchase. there wasnt we just wanted a table for behind the sofa. although the didnt have one on the floor he was able to find the matching one in their system . And the delivery team was excellent making sure our furniture and home were not damaged on a difficult delivery .

Best furniture buying experience we’ve ever had! We were able to schedule our delivery in-store when we made our purchase and they had available times within a week. The table we bought had some minor imperfections upon delivery and they had someone come out on the same day to refinish it. Really amazing experience!

We had the most amazing shopping experience today at Jordans (I know how rare that can be when shopping for furniture with two little ones). We had gone to another furniture store yesterday (on the hunt for a couch and were about to give up) when I found Jordans on Google. I briefly went on their website, asked a couple questions on the chat button, and received a quick response to all the questions I asked. So we decided to make the trip, I had no idea it was at the mall! Well its an absolutely gorgeous store (stunning really) and we had the best sales representative, Carmen, she was all around just amazing! We picked out our couch (everyone should really go in store and look at the Soft Line Pista Leather Sofa because the pictures online do not do it justice!). We cant wait to get our couch, which should be delivered in a week.Update- the delivery experience went awesome! The three delivery team members were all so nice! Like extremely nice happy people! It really could not have gone any smoother! Very happy with my entire experien!We have had our couch for a week now I loveeeeee it! If I could make any recommendations to Jordans furniture it would be to, if they havent already, make a video on how to do the cleaning and conditioning for the upkeep. This is our first leather couch and I love it so much!

What I love about Jordan’s is that you can browse for hours without being “noticed” by a salesperson….until you are ready to ask for help. Then they are most helpful and knowledgeable but never aggressive. We were very happy with our purchase experience and will always go to Jordan’s first when looking for new furniture.

This store was amazing! I’ve never been in a furniture store like it! The set up was beautiful and so was the furniture. The prices were great too! My dining set was delivered the other day and they showed up before their designated arrival time and had the table put together in no time! They also put something on the bottoms of the table and chair legs so they don’t scrape against the floor. Love this! I’ll definitely be going back for my future furniture needs. The quality of the products and phenomenal customer service can’t be beat at Jordan’s Furniture! I highly recommend this place!

I currently have a name brand mattress, and I also have severe back problems. I have been talking about getting a new mattress for the last two years. When I watch Jeopardy in the evening, there is always an advertisement for Jordan furniture. Yesterday I was at the Maine Mall and decided to go in.Shane O’Hare took me through the Bridget process and selected three beds for me to try. They were all much more comfortable than my current mattress, and one was absolute heaven. I was able to lie down on my back in total comfort. It was pricey, but I have no regrets. I can hardly wait for delivery!

We went to Jordan’s to purchase a new bed and box spring. The salesman was very nice and we decided to purchase a powered base box spring. We were told it would fit into our existing bed and we wouldn’t notice a difference except it would be able to move up and down.After receiving the powered base, we immediately started complaining that it moved. Almost felt like you were in a 1980’s water bed or on a swinging bridge. Not the kind of bed I was looking for. The technician finally came out (the techs work 9-5 and you don’t find out when they are coming until 2 days before so good luck if you work). He said that pads were not put under the legs which would result in the problem. That night the problem still occurred. We finally had a friend help us remove a portion of the legs underneath. This helped but now we have a four inch gap between the headboard and where the mattress begins (so much for it being the exact same as our old box spring). Needless to say Jordan’s will NOT take back the base unless it’s defective (I personally find this defective if you sway back and forth all night). So buyer beware. We went back to Jordan’s and sure enough if you actually walk around and look at the Jordan’s power bases in the store, you can see the swaying. We were told we were the first to complain about this which I find hard to believe but if we are the only people, then one refund shouldn’t hurt Jordan’s pocketbook.So basically we have traded in our mattress for a thicker one to cover the gap and we’re told that a heavier mattress should help with the swaying. Bottom line, if you want good customer service and honesty, stick to the local stores. You seem to just be a number at Jordan’s. After taking two days off work to deal with technicians, still having a swaying power base and now needing to pay for for a regular box spring due to not being able to get a refund, I’d never recommend Jordan’s for anything. I’m sure this review will fall on deaf ears as well.

I had two friendly and sharp employees helping me with my very specific request when I shopped in the South Portland store recently. Then the employees at pick up were very helpful getting our table in the car. Add the great quality and price of our table to the terrific service and you get a five star store. He was very open about explaining some of the lead times with certain furniture and was very clear to set the expectation that some may take longer than others. He showed us around and provided pricing for everything we asked for. He was great!! Then he led us over to the mattress area where Michael Carrio took over. Staff was super nice and friendly- extremely helpful but not pushy. The only downside was the lack of items in stock- most things needed a custom order which would take anywhere from 6-8 months. Otherwise great experience!

We travelled 3 hours to confirm the shopping we had begun online via Jordan’s website. We wanted a chance to sit on the chairs and sofa to be sure they were comfy….and they were wonderful!!! More wonderful than the comfy-ness of the furniture were the service and amazing attention we were given by Lea Lekas in the South Portland store! Lea was very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful!!! If you grew up going to the Jordan’s furniture with the MOM ride, or even the one in North Reading with the trapeze and Fuddrucker’s and Richardson’s ice cream, this Jordan’s will underwhelm you. What this Jordan’s furniture has is a good selection of furniture, a basic ropes course, and an attached mall.The “It” Ropes course has an under 48” course for kids and one for taller/older/braver people.So if it’s furniture you want, come here. If it’s an entertainment and dining destination you seek, walk through Jordan’s and into the mall.

Huge furniture store!! Jordans usually are. Indoor rope climbing and small zipline park inside at mall entrance. I would go to the Jordans in Nashua so I dont have to pay Maines sales tax.Facemasks required.

Wonderful experience. Went and was fitted by BRIDGET. Tried 2 mattress out that really were comfortable and kept my spine straight. Went to Mattress Firm & laid on all the mattresses!! None contoured me the way they should!! Plus the salesman didnt really know about his mattresses. I went back to Mike C. & bought the one that best fitted me with Fibromyalgia and Chronic pain. Over the weekend my wife and I headed back to Jordan’s Furniture. We had already purchased the ULTIMATE in a comfortable mattress!!!! This time around we were looking to refurnish our living room. A nice gentleman by the name of Nathan Sylvester greeted us as we walked into the area of living room furniture. Right up front I warned him that this may take a while. He said that would not be a problem at all and that buying the proper furniture shouldn’t be a rush job in the first place. We spent at least 1 1/2 hours with Nathan and the end result is just perfect for our needs!!!! Nathan is a very knowledgeable individual who seems only to be concerned with seeing his customers satisfaction. In short....if you are looking to replace your old furnishings or get set up in a new house....do yourself a favor and find this gentleman. You will not be disappointed that you did. Went to Jordan’s in Portland to get furniture for our recently renovated great room. The room is long and narrow so we were very specific on what we needed. Karen Janes knows her stuff! She paraded us around the store to the exact spot where we found items we wanted. As our “wants” changed she just went with the flow and gave us even more alternatives. So, one couch, two custom chairs and an area rug later, we left as very happy, satisfied customers! Thanks you, Karen!

I visited Jordan’s Furniture today to purchase a rug for my dining room. The rug selection was great! The first Sales person I approached had another client waiting on her but she took the time to connect me to another Sales person. I didn’t connect well with that person and ended up parting company. I stood debating over the rugs when Jeannine Wender, Sales Consultant, approached me. She was wonderful. I did buy a rug and I feel good about the one I purchased. I left a happy customer.

The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable. The showroom is gorgeous 😍 but easy to get lost in! I ended up buying a really cute sofa. If youre coming from inside the mall, you have to walk through this wild kids rope climbing attraction which was a little crazy but didnt detract from the store at all.

She walked me through the features of the couch I was interested in, respected my budget and guided me through the financing options. She clearly commented that the item is on back order and provided an estimated date when it would be in stock. Needless to say, I’d work with Sarah again. Overall it was a painless and great experience.

Wandering around the living room area I felt overwhelmed. I knew about the sales button but for whatever reason I didnt push it. A sales person noticed the over whelmed look and said hi. No pressure. His product knowledge and sales style worked for me. I ended up buying a living room set.

It was painless and efficient. I found a piece, spoke to the checkout associate who was helpful and kind, and they explained delivery and pricing. Takes a month to show up but...it’s furniture. All good. Delivery cost reasonable and the piece is nicely done. Quality you pay for. Went to the mall on vacation for fun. Left with furniture! Time to go home and back to work. :)

I went into Jordans Furniture in search of a bedroom set and a sectional/sleeper. I was met by Susan Hershey who was very helpful in helping me find what I needed. She listened to what I was looking for and was able to help me narrow down my choices. The items I chose were on the saleroom floor so I could get a better idea of what they looked like. I was able to select my color options for the sectional/sleeper which will match my décor of the living room.The financing application process was very quick and easy. I was able to select the number of months of financing I wanted was well within my budget.The only reason I am not giving a five star rating is because several of the items will not be available until nearly the end of the year.

Went to Jordan’s for the specific purpose of purchasing a bed. The salesman Michael Carrio was very friendly, helpful and spent the time needed for me to make up my mind about what specifically to get. He went out of his way (in my opinion) to get me a floor model base, the advantage being it’s cheaper than new out of the box, saving me a lot of money. Financing was very easy to apply for, the terms were carefully explained.If you’re looking for a quality bed, I strongly recommend going to this store. They sell more than beds, and I’ll probably go back to purchase a couch.

Great sales experience. Scott took the time to walk me around, answer questions and provide honest guidance as he got to know me. Inventory selection is great and he provided realistic time frames for delivery. I really appreciated that he didnt try to push me one way or another. I thought our experience at Jordan’s was excellent! We were greeted by Mimi in a timely, yet not pushy, fashion. We told her what we were interested in and she brought us right to the perfect set! We were in snd out in less than 20 minutes and couldn’t be happier.

He did not try to upsell us, but guided us to an appropriate selection in a price range with which we were comfortable. I needed a new mattress and Patrick Robinson in the Sleep Lab was knowledgeable, friendly and more than patient in assisting me choosing one. I purchased a Sealy Quincy Shores soft queen mattress. Patrick insisted on me trying several in the showroom after the BridgeIT assessment, sort of fun but very interesting how it was on point with Patrick’s careful observations. I also decided I wanted to look at new bed frame with storage and Mimi Arnold was most helpful in my search and I chose the beautiful Aspen queen panel platform bed with 2 spacious drawers in the footboard. I’m beyond thrilled with the entire process from shopping, communication with both Patrick and Mimi up to the delivery. Love my new mattress and bed frame.

The delivery of the items we purchased was excellent. They were on time and very polite young men. I was very impressed.The experience inside the store was not as good. The place is huge and confusing. Mistakes were made, we had to go back the next day to straighten things out. Not a place I would go back to.

When we first walked in we were overwhelmed and felt that even if we spent hours in the store we wouldn’t be able to figure out what we needed and wanted. Most importantly he helped us to find exactly what we needed with knowledgeable advice and guidance. My wife and I went in to Jordan’s to look for a dining room set. We met the sales rep whose name was Bruce. He was extremely helpful and just wanted to help us pick and design a dining room set that met our needs.He never pressured us at any point and showed us furniture that was what we wanted . Purchased a bed and mattress set w/adjustable frame. Bridge-IT made it easy to find the perfect mattress for the two of us. Impeccable customer service with lots of assistance offered without any sales pressure....even the store manager jumped in with thoughts. If you are searching for a new mattress, stop by and see Lindsey.....or if looking to find that special bed and want to customize components, Jeannine has a great eye and diligent with exploring options. I held the 5th star due to delivery fees....would have preferred a flat fee and/or consistent %fee charges for delivery. 3% for mattress and 11% on all other furniture.

We went to look for a new bed on Sunday. Josh was very helpful and not aggressive. He took his time and explained what we were trying out. He made us feel very comfortable and at ease. Oh, and we did buy a new bed!

My wife and I went to Jordans to purchase a complete bedroom grouping and had a fantastic experience. The customer service and selection at this store is second to none. We started in the Sleep Lab and were immediately greeted by Michael C. He walked us thru the entire mattress buying/sleep analysis process and found us what we were looking for complete with pillows. He was extremely courteous and professional and thoroughly explained everything even thru the financing. He connected us with a second associate, Steve for the furniture and we picked out what wanted and were given all shipping information, pricing and lead times on when we could expect delivery. The whole process was pleasant and efficient. We will definitely be back as we found a carpet and lamp we liked as well. I would recommend Jordans Furniture to anyone looking to buy and have a great experience!

We were greeted shortly after arrival by Tasha who was extremely helpful! We gave her what we were looking for and our time frame and she presented us with an extensive list of options. She walked us through all aspects of our purchase and even set up delivery! Great Service we would definitely come back for future furniture needs!

First of all, I ordered my furniture January 21. 2020, it was scheduled with a pending delivery date for June. That did happen. Then was given an August/September date. To find out that there was still no date of furniture to be delivered do to issues with polyfill. Went to store and was looking for answer to hear their really wasn’t any answers. So kinda frustrated, not that it’s your fault, but still frustrated. Jeannine Wender saved the sale by walking me through my options. So for that reason she gets a 10 plus. You are a fortunate company to have such a dedicated employee as she was during this process. She makes her customers feel like they’re the only one that matters until she is done and they walk away feeling satisfied with the outcome. So thank you for allowing us to be treated like a guest in the care of Jeannine.

Our Salesperson was attentive and helpful. He took the time to take us to locations in the store that had choices of the furniture that WE wanted. We were able to locate two chairs and two rugs perfect for our application.

Sandra Gonnella has been a very responsive sales rep and is knowledgeable about the products. She was very patient with us as we made decision on which pieces to buy and was very good about looking up expected delivery dates and delays. We may not get our furniture as fast as we’d like but the buying process was pleasant. Outdoor patio furniture is not built like it used to be and pricing is much higher than it probably should be, but buying in person is always been better than online. Thanks Sandra!
