Ive had several good experiences with Vortex lately. Im currently maintaining a large luxury brand commercial property - and Vortex has been one of the most prompt and consistent service providers we use. Its usually a different technician each time, but this last call Tom Eaton was the service representative dispatched, and I had a great experience with him. We were ale to solve the door issue(flush bolt needed adjustment) and he provided me with additional information about our entry doors and even suggestions on how to keep them operating properly. A+ experience.

Nothing but high praises for the great work done by our 2 repair guys today, John and Anthony. The office called and notified us they would arrive at 8:30AM and they did. They worked well together and were able to get all the end clips fixed that needed to be replaced and helped me grease up the old curtain door. $858 repair to maintain this old curtain style roll up door was awesome. The previous clips had ben banged up by years of abuse and fixed by me and my gate repair tool (just a hammer) for the past 2 years.It started off with the sales guy who came to look and he was very honest and quoted us $858 and said they could fix the issue of the sliding from the curtain style gate. I think replacement would be in the $5k range which I think we would have held off on.The office was very responsive as I dealt with Tiffany and Martha for scheduling and paperwork.

Our front door lock broke, and while the locksmith did his job and fixed it the door wasnt quite the same. Tom Eaton from Vortex, South San Francisco came out and had our door in better working condition than it has been in years. I highly recommend asking for Tom by name, he was not only professional but personable and friendly as well. Thank you so much for taking care of us! Tom, is definitely our doorman going forward!

Had a terrific experience with Vortex they came and gave great service and saved my property a bunch of money.We were being pushed in the wrong direction and called Vortex to get to the bottom and mostly give a second opinion . They sent out a specialist who quickly got to the bottom of the issues we were having and the next day the repair was completed.This was unexpected and above and beyond our expectations so I highly recommended Vortex.

I been using three other door companies to do door repairs in our 50 buildings for the past 5 years, but Vortex doors is by far the best door company out there, very easy to deal with, they know what they need and doesnt need to get your door working like new. We had a garage door motor go out and we called Vortex. I was sent an email stating that there is a minimum charge of one hour and they would be sending two technicians out.What they didnt tell me was we were paying for drive time, it took an hour and a half for two people to write us a quote (all charged time) and in the end I spent almost $900 without getting the door fixed. I asked the tech if we do the work, do they roll those charges into the estimate and I was told no.The technicians were good guys, but the policy of how were charged seems unfair and over the top. $900 for a quote is absurd.
