Prices ring up higher than marked on shelf staff doesnt have any training on how to resolve basically ripping you off for a dollar here dollar there Dollar general

I go here because I dont have a lot of options. Very messy. Runs out of products. When they stocked its good.

Not enough employees caused a line 7 people long in the checkout area. The store was clean but not well stocked the item I was looking for was sold out and alot of empty shelves all around the store. Management allowed a stall outside the store which was a good thing.

Nice employees who seemed to enjoy working together. They had us laughing when we checked out.

A very nice place with lots of nice people. Plenty of tourist and plenty to see! Their shops close early so I would recommend going during the day! And dont miss out on their delicious food! Thank you!

Majority of the employees have terrible attitudes (not all, but most) like they could be a million places other than where theyre at. The store thats closest to me is never stocked, your having to dig around and search for your item. Dont even try and ask a employee if they have it in stock bc youll just get upset bc one particular lady will tell you if u dont see it then we dont have it!🤬

I went to this store 3 weeks ago to return a item I didnt want the lady was rude told me she couldnt give me a refund because I didnt buy it there and its going to mess her inventory up but I had my receipt I thought all dollar general was the same I call corporate office they took her side over mine asking me why you buy stuff if you dont want it people take things back everyday thats not the point so I had to drive to another store to get my refund the lady was just being nasty for no reason so I wont be going to this location no more I go to several Dollar Generals about 3 times a week using my digital coupons I spends my money

The customer service is very disappointing and it is difficult to get someone to unlock the ice chest all too often.

This was not a great experience two of the ladies that worked there were very rude and thought that they ran the store but yet the manager was nice and showed respect and I told them I was not going to take someone yelling at me and the manager said I didnt I said no you didnt those two over there did

I go in there because it is very convenient for me .That being said, there prices are always tagged wrong . There candy is melted, there chewing gum is so hard it breaks when you open the wrapper .I do not like this store at all .I go anywhere but there if I possibly can, to get decent food, cant, gum . I do not recommend at all. I drive out of my way most of the time to keep from going there

Good products. Friendly service, but dont go there if youre using a check! Even there manager dont know how to work and operate the check scanner. I waited almost 25 mins. But forgot my I.D. and they made sure I got it back.

My word. Please retrain these people. They had no journal receipt and when I requested they told me they could not give me one that they would just refund. This store needs cleaning up also.

I am truly surprised this store has NOT been closed down. This is the filthiest place I ever been to in Spartanburg. Outside and inside smell like urine. Staff looks like they are on something or been drinking. Shelves empty every time you come in. I was embarrassed to bring my family visiting from out of town. I had to go to a different location just bc it smelled so bad and the staff seemed to out of it to assist Us.

The best place to buy a card for any occasion.

This store has just been remodeled, and the majority of the time it resembles a (Dirty, Nasty, Pig Stky). Im so disappointed in how soon after the remodel that it got back in that shape again. The cashiers and mgmt are very friendly but the turnover in that store is unbelievable! The clearance isle is just an awful mess! Maybe they all need to be re-trained on how to keep a store clean and presentable. I know being in the retail business is not an easy job but if you keep your store clean and presentable most of the time the customers will try to do the same.

This store on Ashville hwy is the worst store Ive ever been to. It always dirty and the staff are extremely lazy. On some occasions I will find a nice cashier but that is very rare.

I have yet to walk into a General Dollar store here in Spartanburg SC and it not be clean, organized, and friendly staffed. It dont matter when I go or what time of day I go its always the same. You would think the discreet managers would do something about this.

Nastiest dollar general I’ve EVER been to! Floors dirty/sticky, stock and carts down every aisle. Everything out of place. Staff talk very loud and are never at the register. I don’t go to this store anymore!!!
