Limited womens pants for hiking. Friendly staff and nice dressing room. This is not the stores fault, but the pants I tried on had very shallow Pockets so a cell phone would not fit comfortably. Also they tend to sit lower on the waist which is not good if you are longer waisted like myself.

Quality gear, nice staff. Inventory is of course limited with a bit more focus on cloths than gear. Would like to see them offer an Ikon pass discount like some retailers on the mountain.

On our ski trip to Steamboat Co this December 2018, my daughter bought a new pair of expensive ski gloves. After one day on the slopes a seam split.She took the gloves and the receipt back to the store that evening, but was told be store manager/employee that she would have to return them to the manufacturer via mail and wait for a replacement pair; 6-8 weeks!Wow, less than 24 hours from time and place of purchase and the store couldnt switch them for a new pair and send them back to Marmot themselves? She had to borrow a pair of gloves since her new ones were faulty.There are many great store in Steamboat Springs Co but this is not one of them.I will NEVER recommend or purchase for that store!BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! Go somewhere else!

I was a pretty excited and generally like their gear a lot, and this store is probably great. But their online ordering system sucks, or their process for fulfillment is horrible when there is a sale. I had 3 orders voided because I was shipping to a different address than my billing, 3 different orders were placed within 24 hours because you might lose the items in your cart, and I decided I wanted to actually order more items. They called sometime this morning to verify my order, but by time I called back they were voided. I somehow missed noticing a voicemail, and my phone didnt ring. What if people were old school and had a regular landline phone that theyre not at during the day. Also just fyi its a pain in the but to rebuild your shopping cart if youre order is voided. You have to frantically go to each item all over again. But if youre order went through you can simply click reorder and everything will go in. Thats a dumb thing to take away.Void void void.... Staff was friendly and helpful. Was looking for a light jacket for evenings and found exactly what I was looking for at a good price point.

Lady kicked us out 4 minutes before closing at 756pm on Feb 2nd 2018.What kind of customer service is that!Guess Ill buy more mountain hardware gear or shop online!
