Had an opportunity to shop at the Alpine Mart a couple of times on our recent vacation to Stowe. Its a great spot, with lots of essentials and terrific coffee. The biggest star at the place though is Alan! On my first day, I arrived before the store even opened. Alan invited me in as soon as he turned the lights on and asked what kind of coffee I wanted. He then put that pot on right away so I wouldnt have to wait long. He was friendly and helpful, and the Alpine Mart became a staple on our trip. Check it out when youre in the area!

I went in to this store the other day and the Cashier Hilary helped me find everything I needed and was patient with me with I payed. Made my experience.

Small little convenience store. Stopped here twice during my stay in Stowe. Didnt buy any food items as their selection was extremely limited - literally nothing that would work as breakfast foods. Beer selection in coolers was good, albeit a little high priced.

Do not go here! We stopped for snacks bought our son a milk and luckily noticed before we gave it to him that it was a week expired. Went back inside and the whole cooler of milk was old the clerk found a good one out back but didnt say sorry. The bag of goldfish we bought was also expired but we had opened it in the car and the buckeyes from sweetfudge were also old and disgusting! The clerks didnt seem to care about the place and were outside smoking.

It’s where locals go. Good lunch. Good snacks. Excellent coffee.

Why with a mask sign on the door the employees don’t wear them.

A surprisingly decent selection of food and beer. They also have a Subways attached to the same building. Friendly staff. Place could use a cleaning and modernizing.

Shi**y service, Rude employees, dirty kitchen/subway, expired food with changed dates. The list goes on!

Absolutely overpriced! The prices are even above the Swiss price level.
