Pour Favor is a cool local coffee shop with seasonal flavors and awesome flights. I ordered the butter beer latte with a blueberry muffin that tasted amazing. They also offer a quidditch flight that has a iced coffee drink for every house in Hogwarts (Slytherin, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw *the best house* and Hufflepuff)I have had the flavored specialty coffee and the regular, it’s all delicious depending on how sweet you like your cafe. The sandwiches are much better than I expected them to be and the service is always fun. Definitely give it a try the next time your in Suffolk! The Quidditch Flight Ends July 2021!GarwoodGrub.com
This place is so special. Very quaint! Great food and drinks. Very friendly staff.
Great creative cozy stop. Coffee and as good. $7.88 for a triple iced latte, which includes 25 cents Togo and 100 for the extra shot. No tip yet so 9.+ with tip. But the atmosphere is very artistic and many seating options. The wait was a bit, maybe 15 minutes. Seems understaffed 😳. I would go back because I love the space, very clean too....not peak times maybe.🤷♀️. No cash accepted.
First time I went to this place it was for work,I didnt really pay attention but the people were nice and the drinks looked absolutely amazing. So I came back after work with my girlfriend and got us a drink. The staff were very friendly and they were also pet friendly which was nice. I will definitely be coming back.
A hidden treasure in Suffolk, VA!Wonderful coffee house with superb service and delicious coffee, freshly made snacks and food! Stopped in for coffee and pastries. Met the owners and was completely blown away! EVERYTHING about this place is amazing! I have found a new go to spot...Watch out Starbucks!
Great spot! Tasty food, great coffee, killer tres leches cake, friendly staff, overall had a great experience. Also, felt very comfortable with covid-19 precautions (masks, spacing, outdoor seating available). Cant really make a trip to PR these days with covid, but kinda felt like going to a PR bakery!
Its such a sad shame that we didnt even get to try this place out, especially when it seemed so promising. We walked in, no line, no one waiting, and was not acknowledged. We waited, read the entire menu, front and back, still no acknowledgement. We sat down at the two barstools, got back up, looked at the pastry options sitting on the counter, still....nothing. A lady walked in a few minutes after us, Bren immediately asked came and asked her was she there for doordash, and handed her the appropriate items. Then, again, walked right past us. After a few more minutes, it took me asking her name to even get looked at. With a roll of her eyes, she told us it was Bren. We decided to leave. I will never return or recommend this place with that type of blatantly rude service.
Workers there are really great but it doesnt seem like there are any management figures there. Feels like the workers are constantly on the fly on policies or rules due to no head management being there to clarify things. But ultimately the workers are really great and act like one unit despite their troubles. Really love this place!
First things first the drinks were great! The iced vanilla Chai was fantastic and my wife loved her drink to. The building is very cool. A fixed up older home and they have big plans. Make sure you get over there and support this awesome little local coffee shop!!
Coffee serving is very little for the price.Cuban/Rican panini sandwiches were equally in flavor, I didnt see any pork in the cuban sandwich.!!@@They will charge you an additional .25 per item Togo charges, and will not inform you in regards the charges.Service is very sloo
This was our first time trying out Pour Favor and it did not disappoint!! I normally just go straight to Starbucks and today I decided to give it a go and Im glad I did! My drink and breakfast are delicious! The staff member was super friendly and even made my daughter a chocolate milk, no charge. It was all a wonderful experience ☺️. No more Starbucks for this mama❤️
My mom and I came here for lunch, and it was good. The cashier/waiter was very friendly. I liked the atmosphere, especially the paintings of famous people. Best of all, the food was good and filled with flavor. I ordered the turkey bacon ranch panini with a white chocolate iced mocha, and my mom ordered a chicken salad panini with a coke. We enjoyed it, and hopefully we’ll come back.
I give this 2 stars because I really enjoyed my coffee. However, I didnt enjoy the hour long wait and the charges when I didnt ask for things. We ordered 2 cups of coffee, toast, and a waffle. It took us 20 minutes to get our coffee - which we understood, they were very busy. However, it took us 55 minutes to get our toast and waffle. Let me repeat - nearly an hour for toast and a waffle!!On top of this - we were charged convenience fees for to go - but we never requested that. And the waffle didnt come as to go so we got charged for something we didnt request and didnt get. They didnt apologize to us at all for the wait after I went up asking about our food, and not even 2 minutes later we heard them apologizing to someone else for their hour long and wait and they gave them their money back!We wont be coming back - an incredibly long wait, no apology when someone else got an apology and we waited the same amount of time, and charges for things that we didnt request or receive.
The staff is friendly and the food and drinks are delicious! Also, it is dog friendly. We will be coming back.
Found my new favorite spot!!! Went today for the first time and couldnt be more pleased. The berry bowl was very big and delicious! Avocado toast was perfect! He made me a blonde coconut coffee and it was the best coffee I ever had. He says he can make anything and I BELIEVE HIM!! Im definitely going to be a regular here. Loved the friendly environment.
We showed up to try the coffee flights. Waited 45mins for our drinks. The person just kept taking orders, and not making a single drink. Then we ordered hot drinks and were served cold. (I didnt want to wait another 45 mins for new ones). It was awful, not an experience I would recommend and our first time trying a coffee flight was horrible. All the drinks tasted the same, except one that was so bad we poured it down the drain. Just say no to this place!!!Also we were the beginning of a very very long line- tons of people came in after us I can only imagine how long they had to wait for drinks.
All of the baristas were very friendly. A rude customer came in and berated a few of them for harmless policies out of their control as employees, and they all handled it professionally and politely. The cold brew and cuban bagel I had were fantastic!
Passing through. It smelled like they had food. Nice little hipster home looking coffee shop. They seemed like they had a lot of options but not really a menu to look at. The menu they did have looked like any other shop. However they had a ton of syrup flavors and again I smelled food but didnt see the menu. Strapped for time.
I had a herbal tea sweetened with honey, yummy. Fun local coffee shop.
If you want great coffee- come hereIf you’re in a hurry- go somewhere else
I Love this Coffee Shop Most Definitely Like Coming Here For Me and My Family and Friends Very Good Drinks Good Food and Nice Vibes I Love you Pour Favour And It’s Clean As Well I Will Recommend Anyone To Go And Enjoy The Beautiful Place
Food was good, I had the Cuban Bagel. Light but filling. Coffee was good, atmosphere was chill and the house its in is a cool older colonial home. Young lady who served us was sweet and did a great job hustling around.
All the employees there are really nice and the coffee there is really good, its definitely one of my favorite places to go for coffee
Great atmosphere. Great people, great coffee. Always feel welcomed and relaxed.
Clean, comfortable, with nice and helpful employees. The food was delicious and the coffee with superb! Highly recommended
The guy behind the counter taking my order was pretty rude. They need some training in how to talk to customers for sure.
Really friendly staff and the coffee was really tasty. Had the pour over. Also the vibes inside is very cozy.
Pricey coffee..but my friend said very good taste
I am both sad and relieved that Pour Favor is located in the middle of Suffolk. Its sad because I live in Norfolk and have no reason to be out here more than a handful of times a year and will therefore miss out on having this in my life on a regular basis. Im relieved, though, because, if given the opportunity, I would be here every day for every meal getting the drink of the day and yet another delicious Cuban sandwich until either my wallet bottomed out or my body failed due to malnutrition. Although... Theres carbs. Protein. Pickles count as vegetables, right? Thats pretty well-rounded. Maybe Ill see if there are any places for rent nearby...
First time here, great tasting coffee, solid selection, and one of the coolest coffee shop buildings youve ever seen. Very unique. We ended up relaxing on the porch, seems like a great place to talk about the French revolution or read a book.
Cute coffee shop, staff was pleasant.
The atmosphere is very cozy and the staff is very friendly. The coffee has a lot of care put into it and tastes great.
Great spot! Lots room! Great atmosphere! Great coffee! Geez...how many ti.es can I say great! :D
What a cute little coffee shop! The cuban sandwich was delicious! Most importantly, the staff was so kind & courteous. I highly recommend PourFavor!
Very small place. The coffee was great the staff was great. The small place is very pretty and like a house. You feel very comfortable in the small tables around the house.
Friendly, good selections. My favorite coffee shop. Good staff. Truly uniquely pleasing.
Great coffee, food, and atmosphere! I love to support independent businesses, its great that we have this unique coffee shop in Suffolk. Recommend you support it too!
They have the best coffee Ive had in a long while. Cozy without being pretentious and the people were very nice. I thoroughly enjoyed this place.
Greatand friendly staff. GOOD COFFEE and food selections
This place is such a ray of sunshine! I took my children here today to grab a treat and coffee and loved it. The barista was the best, she was so friendly and helpful (the toasted almond mocha she recommended was amazing)! My kids loved the muffins and macarons and I, of course, loved the coffee. What a gem!
First they charged us .25 cents on each coffee TO GO when I told the cashier that we where dining in, if they have to charge that because the type of cup they have to explain it. The bread was old, Im Puerto Rican I know how the Puerto Rican bread taste and when is old. The price of Quesitos is $3.85 ridiculously expensive, the coffee was cold. comparing with the café in VB, I dont recommend this place in Suffolk.
Service was good however there was very few options for pastries order sandwich And a soup the taste was ok never received chips with sandwich
Its a very nice place and the food is great 😎
It was a very fun place to have coffee and lunch!!! The hot chai latte was delicious as was my salad! The service was friendly and quick. The prices were a little high, but worth it!
This Place disappoints me I’ve been there two days back to back!!! If you are going to close the kitchen an hour before you close you guys NEED TO POST THIS ON YOUR WEBSITE!!!!
Great meeting space and perfect cold brew!
My friend suggested going here and it is my new favorite local coffee shop. Great service and wonderful food and coffee! The decor and outdoor seating adds so much ambiance to the place. Love it.
Absolutely amazing; my girlfriend and I went in with our infant son. Quiet place, very good for our son, who was sleeping. Ordered a latte, hot chocolate, and a panini. Everything was great tasting, the atmosphere was very friendly. Service was a little slow, but it definitely worth the wait. Would definitely come back, and certainly would recommend to others. 5/5, very happy that I stopped in. Staff was friendly, clean, and organized.
Friendly staff great coffee!!! Clean facilities. The perfect little coffee shop/house! Quiet and peacful! Hopefully still around when we come back to Virginia to visit :)
Always great coffee when I go here. The seasonal flights are amazing. Nice menu for lunch or a snack while having your coffee.
Stopped in for coffee. Excellent traditional cappuccino. My daughter had the strawberry frapp. Rated it a million thumbs up. Love the overall atmosphere.
Very unique minority owned mom & pop coffee shop. They offer coffee flights as well as delicious Puerto Rican sandwiches. They do have outdoor seating and gravel parking
Driving through Suffolk, this beautiful coffee shop with a whole lot of heart caught our eye and I’m so glad we decided to stop. Great coffee, good vibe, and great staff. The staff was nice enough to share information about the area. The outside seating was so nice. Drinking coffee and eating Puerto Rican desserts while watching the trains go by.
Poor service, missed half our order and didnt care
GREAT little local Suffolk Coffee Shop! In an old wood frame house. Right next door to a hand-wash car wash if you are interested in multi-tasking and having a leisurely cup of coffee while waiting for your car to be ready!!! I am an Old Downtown Suffolk resident and always try to support local businesses...
Pour Favor Coffee Shop is a one of a kind experience. Nestled away just off Main Street, in Suffolk, Va; I found myself pleasantly delighted with the menu offerings, staff and decor. The wait staff are young, enthusiastic and energetic. You can tell that they take great pride in being Baristas and it shows in their latte art. You are always greeted with a smile and their customer service is noteworthy. They dont have a large list of menu offerings, however they have mastered what they do have. Everything they offer is reasonably priced. The decor is slightly upscale and manages maintain an at home type feeling. My overall impression of Pour Favor is its a great place to get a great cup of coffee and a bite to eat.
I’m so thankful to have an original Coffee Shop in Suffolk! Brooklyn and Jeremy always give great friendly service (as well as the entire staff) and the environment is kid friendly (with some games and coloring books). Looking forward to seeing more new events!
Employees were friendly and welcoming. The establishment itself has a bed and breakfast feel as well. The coffee is amazing; I will definitely patronize in the future with the wife.
Cheery service in a cozy environment.
Nice coffee shop with free wifi so a relatively nice place to get some work done. Food was really good, especially the breakfast burrito. Very reasonable prices. I didnt try any of the pastries, but they looked amazing. My waffles with strawberries just turned out to be strawberry jelly so that was a little disappointing. But otherwise pretty solid.
It would be nice if someone acknowledged you. The kids behind the counter barely noticed me, their conversation was more important.
A hidden gem in Suffolk! The food is delicious and drinks are incredible. I love ordering the Rican sandwich. It is so savory and bursting with flavor. The lavender lemondae is a must try as well. Fresh squeezed, just the right amount of sweetness, and hint of lavender makes it so soothing. Great place!
Parking is ample near the entrance. Latte was so yummy. I got an American bagel. That is eggs, cheese and bacon. It was delicious but very big. Great place. I will be back!
First time here and I loved it. Try the iced chai tea!
Amazing hot chocolate i got
This place is adorable! I love the atmosphere and the employees were so kind and helpful. I had an iced cafe latte with vanilla in it and it was wonderful.
Awesome little spot for a bite or coffee and chill
Awesome. I love this place. Delicious coffee and the people here are classy, charming and graceful
Hidden spot in Suffolk- great atmosphere. Only went in to appease my wife, but I really enjoyed it (and I dont even drink coffee). Nice menu, great Cuban and they serve all day breakfast.
Great local downtown Suffolk secret for awesome coffee options and an equally good lunch. Frequently visit and have enjoyed it every time.
I went to the Suffolk cafe yesterday and it was so nice. The staff were very friendly and offered great dessert suggestions. The place is so cute, cozy, and smelled amazing. The caramel macchiato was so good and so pretty, (not thrown together like at Starbucks). The staff DELIVER the drinks and desserts to the table (not yell your name)! The Tres Leche cake was amazing as well. I would highly recommend this place. Enjoy your visit.
Love this coffee shop! The people are friendly and the coffee is delicious.
I have been stopping by here more and more lately. The staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is super chill to do work. Totally in love with their Turkey Club and their quesitos!
Great place. Enjoyed the hospitality and character
CUTEST little coffee shop- the owner is the sweetest. Delicious drinks and yummy pastries and breakfast/lunch options!
Went in to check out this coffee shop. The iced latte was quite tasty. Will definitely go back to try more of their coffee.
Great service and the cappuccino was fantastic
Great food, service and people.. nice to have something different in Suffolk!
EVERYTHING about this place was amazing! From the breakfast to the coffee to the service!!! I wish I lived closer because if I did, I would be here every day they are open.
First time customer. Awesome selection of coffees! Tremendously friendly & efficient service and staff!!Can’t wait to go back!!
Really nice coffee shop. Drinks were great and the food looked good. We did have a cinamon bun and it was among the best Ive had.
The sandwiches and flights of coffee are very good. The baristas give great recommendations for flavors in your flight.
