So, Im changing my review from one star to four. In the past few months our internet has been fast and dependable. I havent had to call them so Im not sure if customer service has improved, but I am a whole lot happier with this company in general.

Cable TV and internet have been out going on 3 weeks. First trouble call technician did not show up at the promised time. Second trouble call the cable TV and Internet issues still were not fixed. Tried calling a third time, cant get an actual person to talk to. I live in Winnsboro, TX. Suddenlink, if you dont take care of this by your third chance youre going to lose another customer.

Costs are too high, dominate the local area so no other companies can come in, currently on the phone (someone picked up and aren’t saying anything) been holding silently for over 10 min., received a text today about running my debit card when my bill was paid last week (ahead of schedule)……and they wonder why they’re getting a one star.😏

If you call for help... you get someone that is reading off a script.... that have no knowledge of your issue... and cant help... youll get an appointment 2 weeks away...the appointment may or may not fix your issue... they may not even show up to your appointment. You cant talk to any local supervisor.... this location has a sign on the door to call the 800 and to effectively get lost -- zero help... My Internet is down due to Suddenlink accidentally showing up to my location... and giving me someone elses internet equipment they came back to fix it... but, now I have NO INTERNET AT ALL... before, I had my neighbors Internet and their equipment.... and it was working.. but wasnt mine.... now, my new equipment is totally down... no internet.

I have had only bad experiences with this company. Any time I had any issues it was always the equipment and they would have to send someone out 2 weeks later and it still never fixed the problem. I tried to cancel my service several times and it never got canceled and I kept receiving bills.. I would call and cancel and receive a bill over and over. I have dealt with less than ideal internet providers but this company has been by far the worst!!!!

Horrible service, bad connection, charge me for a tech to come fix the issue and claim that i was not here. Well i have cameras printed the pictures showing i was here and the tech was never to be seen still charged never refund me and still charged me the last month. Went with AT&T zero problems.

I have tried calling every number you have listed and have yet to have anyone tell me where to drop off your equipment of which you are trying desperately to charge me. This company is by far the worst telecommunications company I have ever experienced. I used to live in Nigeria! Your staff is seemingly incompetent and problem solve, nor do you value your customers.My advise to anyone looking for a reliable telecommunications company, is to stay away from Suddenlink.

Very poor service .we have motel and suddenly one the room tv box is not work..we have to call them and fix the issue .if they are not able to fix the issue then they will send somebody..i told them my customer have to wait..and it shows bad hotel service..problem is when we call the customer service they said different thing and put the service call.who ever comes to fix the problem they dont know what is the problem ...and how to fix problem.and this is 3 rd time same thing agin..i do not know how they run the business.if you sending someone so they know what to do.even he dont have stuff to fix the problem ..very poor quality...if they give you service like this to commercial bussiness😳😳😳😳 .no one care.i will give them 0 star.

They showed up at my place,within a second,told me I dont have the equipment I need,then left.They were supposed to bring it to my apt,the office had it all set up. Very poor customer service,then told me I needed to contact the apartment office to deal with it,really? They had one easy job,bring equipment and connect,very unprofessional service in sulphur springs tx.

Suddenlink is by far the worst customer service friendly business.I run a small business where my phones and operating systems are run over VoIP. I have contacted Suddenlink for three straight days to get my internet going again. I pay for the fastest speed and currently get .17 Download. That is not a typo. Suddenlink tech support does not care.Technician came out on Monday and said wiring was wrong on the pole. No one has Ben up the pole to change the wiring. Why was it wrong when it’s been that way. Tech said someone would come back that afternoon to repair. No one showed up.Called tech support on Tuesday and they said some one would be out. Again no one showed up.Called again today, I guess we will have to wait and see what happens.

I wish there was a zero star, how dare you say that I have to either drive for 3 hours to the closest open store, or pay a technician 25$ to put my life at risk during this pandemic to bring me a new remote control, instead of simply putting one in a box and shipping it out to me! Still one of the worse companies to get cable and internet service from. They take advantage of the fact that they often are in places where they have no competition. You pay way too much for what you actually receive and the customer service is extremely hit or miss. If I could get DirecTV or AT&T in this area I would of left the company years ago.

This is the worst internet provider I have ever had to deal with. We are paying for 100 Mbps and getting less than 1. This has been going on for almost two weeks. They have sent three techs and we get the same run-around every time the problems is not in the house, its in the grid, Ill file a report. Then nothing happens. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO SUDDENCRAP if you can avoid it. They are the only cable provider in this town and, consequently, they dont care about service. It is not just me, many other people I know have the same problem. Multiple complaints to FCC in the last year and they still dont care. I would give zero stars, but that is not an option. Oh, and dont bother asking to be reimbursed for lost service, they are not going to do it.

I have this service for 3 months and have been over charged each month and the free installation was charged on the first bill of 52.04 and called customer service and answered by over seas people who dont care and are rude, so they dont credit my account they shut my service off then charged me a extra 10 then another 10 after i paid to get it reinstated, then the next bill just show a payment no credit.. what kind of bait and switch is this.your advertising for low rates Price for LifeAltice One — Select HDTV & Internet 400 Unlimited Data$84.99mo. The cable from the pole to my house has sagged so low that one could easily reach it with their hand. Ive made two phone calls and logged service calls but as of yet no one has responded. Im not impatient - these calls were made well over two months ago. Do I have go go to a Suddenlink office to request service?

Suddenlink cable is included with my rent, but when I tried to add channels, it doesnt work. I have never experienced such lousy service. I gave up on a land line after techs spent hours on two different occasions trying to get it to work. The irony was they were on hold the whole time! This company is really on the skids. I had DirecTV for 15 years, great service and immediate responses to my calls. Even good old AT&T were reliable and responsive. I can have neither where I live. Just Suddenlink! 😡

Now: BUYER BEWARE: They try to rip you off when its time to disconnect. They will say you still have to pay until the end of your billing cycle--doesnt matter that you just started a new billing cycle. Even if you call them Iin advance, as I did, to let them know youre moving and ask what are the disconnection procedures. No, they will not tell you about this even if you call to see if theres ANYTHING IMPORTANT that you need to know.Previously: Prices are reasonable if you must go with Suddenlink. But you will get stuck in a contract and the phone customer service is awful. However, its your next best solution if Spectrum isnt available and you want speeds so much better than satellite or DSL.

I have had nothing but issues. They have been to my house twice in one week to install. I have spent probably 3 hours total on hold to get to talk to someone. They finally set up and then I was told my channels wouldn’t work until next day and I am two days later and back on hold with them. The technician that set up left hdmi cable and power cable unhooked. I went to try and plug the power cable into my main box to find it doesn’t even want to go in. Is this really the way he left me? So frustrated with them.

Signed up in January for the price for life deal. Paid 94.99 in January. Then we got a bill for $32 more and a few days after that another bill with made out total $170.85. paid it in full on the 15th. On the 18th we had to call a tech out because our services were not all working. He just told me to pay my bill and the services should work. I though it should be showing that it paid anytime now not thinking much about it. Well on the 20th our services were cut off I though it was a tech issue so I called to figure out what was going on. I had to paid $170.85 again just to talk to someone. I did and they found the computer error and were going to issue a refund of the $170.85. And it would be in my account on the 27th. Well that never happened. Instead today a bill came up and instead of the refund they used that for the bill. A bill we never saw. And said that we have a $20 credit. Shouldnt it be a $70 credit? We still dont have all the services we are paying for after 2 months after sign up. That money was to pay for my phone bill which wouldnt be bad if we didnt have a special needs child.Why did we go to cable? We never had these issues with sling and Netflix.So if you want to take you chances here you go. If you want to spend you days wasting your time on the phone with folks who cant give you any answers here you go. If you dont mind paying paying for things but never receive items here you go. This is the worst company ever.Months later still no $60 credit back to my account which they said they would do. And I never got the $100 gift card that was promised.

My 2nd tv hasnt worked in over a year. I am being charged for two packages I did not ask for. My bill has gone up $65 and I cant reach a representative to find out why or have it reduced. My on demand hasnt worked in 2 months and I fought with a robot on the telephone for half an hour unsuccessfully to get tech support. I am about to find a new service asap.

Suddenlink offers excellent speed and quality of service. The only issue is having to reset the modem about once a week. Otherwise it works well. Service agents are very helpful if there is an issue. Just wait thru the recorded menu until you can finally speak with an agent.

Ive never had a reason to go inside their office but their installer for my system was efficient & took his time to show me how to operate my cable, hook up my DVR, hook up TV if I desired. Their techs on the phone have been kind & informative

So i signed up for 40 upload and 400 download for my husband and I to play xbox togther. It has been fine so far because we cant find anyone else around here that can provide that speed, but we signed up to pay around 65 dollars for this service and out of no where last month we were charge 20 dollars more and now this month we are being charged 30 dollars more. We have not done anything new or added anything on to our service that would cause this spike in price. They have your statments avaliable online to view put when I click to view the PDF it takes me to a different browser tab and then downloads the PDF but on in reality it is a html doc that is nothing but code and not my statement, so i have no idea why the price is so high! When go to use the chat on their website, the box pops up with nothing in it and i can do anything with it, theres no close out button or anything. So having issues with the chat options on their website I then have to call them and then get put on a 20 minute wait time just to ask why they are jacking up my payments! I wish Sulphur Springs had another internet provider that want Satellite or Dish.

Aweful customer service!! My daughter ordered internet and cable online and noone showed to install. My daughter then trys to call but was on hold too long so, she had to go to local office to speak to someone!! She decided to make another attempt at getting service on 9/22....the installer shows up...WITHOUT THE CORRECT EQUIPMENT! He promised to be back the following Tuesday.....WE ARE STILL WAITING! My daughter has been to the office several times and the lady there tells her that she has emailed her boss to let him know the situation and has not heard back from him yet!!!! Really??? A week and hasnt returned an email??? The problem goes All the way to the too! If we could get service elsewhere, we would. We may do internet only through Cricket.

Update: The service last year was beyond horrible, it was literally unusable. I was paying for 50 meg down 5 up and my speeds were closer to 1 meg down 50k up. Not to mention most of the time the service was down. BUT, after the Net Neutrally rule was reversed I was upgraded to 400 meg down, 50 up for the same price. Its fast and reliable now (still have to reboot the modem every now and then). I was blasted by media telling me it would be the opposite. Trump was right. My internet is better now, no question about it.

Internet is always down, but what is the worst is the customer service, they lie, make appointments and never show (when they tell you it’s an all day event and you have to be there), never return calls and ANY PHONE CALL IS A 1 HOUR affair.PAY EXTRA FOR satellite internet and get AppleTv, PlayStation Vue and /or DirecTv Now. Allthree combined are cheaper, and customer service is exponentially better.Suddenlink in Sulphur Springs is a joke!

Very nice lady that works the counter. However the service this company provides is terrible. The internet gets choked down between the hours of 6pm and 1am. I am a retired network engineer. It really is not hard to see they have limited the traffic out of this area of the city. We are paying for unlimited, and supposed to be getting 600 mbps. But during the evening we only get between 1.5-3 mbps. Our cell service gives us those speeds. Also, their promotion company calls all hours of the night as late as 9:30 at night. There are a lot of other choices.

Ive had Suddenlink for the last 7 years and have called them for an issue a grand total of one time. It was then resolved in about 20 minutes. Such a great ISP. My speeds are almost always on point or higher than expected. The also offer unlimited internet packages, unlike most other ISPs.

I get anywhere between 500kbs to 5mbs on my 50mbs plan. Any attempt to have Suddenlink address or explain these speeds, results in a reboot your modem/router or a lame peak use excuse. FYI peak use = any hour of any day.I have had to upgrade my data package every few months because overages. I am home less now than I ever was when I first got with Suddenlink!There is absolutely nothing I can do about it either because they have a monopoly.

I have had suddenlink for 3 years. It is the worst ever but we are monopolized on our small town. I havent even gotten a bill yet for this month which is usually due a few days from now, and our services were interrupted. I tried to call but you cant even talk to anyone until you make a payment.Last time I made a payment 2 weeks ago they double charged me. So I figured I wouldnt have a payment right away and my bill would come and I would just pay it. Seriously. If I could go anywhere else I would. I already got off there package deal when it started to cost $500 plus a month and just stuck with there internet for now. They charge you $70 more in internet than I have ever paid before. Communications should be taken out of the title that is false advertising.

Really very disappointing to have the service of this company, bad service, internet signal, it is lost every moment !! That is, if your monthly payment of $ 109 dlls, they always withdraw it from your bank account ... they are thieves, it hurts that in Mount Pleasant Tx, there is no other company to use it ... I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND SUDDENLINK FOR YOUR INTERNET SERVICE !!! 👎🏻👎🏻IF YOU LIVE IN ANOTHER CITY, HIRE ANOTHER COMPANY, WITH ATT I NEVER HAD PROBLEMS WITH YOUR SERVICE !!
