Currently I am at a pediatrician office and writing this review. We bought tandoori chicken yesterday at this shop for the first time. Our 7 year old son likes the tandoori chicken and we wanted to try it here. He got vomiting, motions and rashes on his skin the night after he had this chicken. Look at the attached photo how ugly and bad their tandoori chicken looks. He only had just 10% of a leg quarter and said he didn’t want to eat anymore because the chicken looks ugly, taste very bad and have bad smell. Early morning we had to visit an urgent care to get him tested. The doctor confirmed that it’s because of the food. Now I am going to go further and take a legal action against this restaurant. I am going to send the chicken sample to the food safety officer today. And one more thing, I called on their phone number but no one answered the phone and no voicemail setup. Don’t eat here and don’t put yours and your family’s health in danger.

I’m a regular shopper and I’m not coming back any more. Every-time I came to the store I spend over $100 on meat and I walk out with with bones. I give them so many chances but I’m done. Never buy goat leg from them unless you want to serve your family bones instead of meat.

Incredible food. Fast and friendly service. The food is freshly prepared and all the meat is sourced directly making it the go to spot to satisfy a craving. Everything we had was perfection. The Bihari wings with the perfect amount of char and spice will keep me coming back.

On Sept 25 2020 I ordered Goat Meat. I was charged for 2.16 Lb @$8.99 + 7% Sales Tax. Transaction No 023821.I suspected that the actual weight is not 2.16 LB so I asked the person on counter named Ali if the weight is correct and he answered yes.Not satisfied with it, I checked the weight when I reached home on a scale and it was only 1.125 LB.I called the shop immediately and Ali asked me to come back. Next day morning I went to the shop again and when the same meat bag was weighed on shops scale it was 1.6 according to Ali. He still did not accepted the mistake for difference between 2.16 charged to me v/s 1.6 weighted on his scale. He blamed me for my scale being wrong.Ali also told me the reason was due to With fat or without fat but at no point of time he asked me if I want meat with fat or without fat.I asked for the refund. Just to confirm my weigh scale I checked my home scale with Costco 3 LB almond pack and it weighed exactly 3 LBSo disappointing.Response to owners comment - You mentioned some customer like Fat and some dont, but at the end of the day you can not make that choice for them. As already mentioned in my review I was never asked for the choice or told about this. Also when I visited shop next day Ali was so rude when I pointed out same thing. His answer was I dont have time for this, I have other customers to attend That tells everything about your customer service and business practice.

Really wanted to like this place but unfortunately did not have the best experience. Ordered the chicken sandwich with high hopes and expectations and was disappointed to find the chicken so dry, bland, and somehow simultaneously under and over cooked. I’m giving blunt feedback in the hopes that the chef listens and improves. Please make the chicken thinner cut to make it easier to eat. The batter made the chicken crispy which was good, but it was under seasoned. The sauce was nice but there was too little of it to help with the dryness of the chicken. I liked the pickled jalapeño but think outside of the box and add some more toppings to add texture and taste.Husband thought the nihari sandwich was good so there’s that. He did wish that it was made out of beef instead of lamb but that’s what happens when you have a shop in Patel plaza I guess!

I love Indian food but have never cared for the idea of Indian fusion. However, after seeing pics of the food and reading about the chefs credentials I had to give this place a try and Im so glad I did.My wife and I split the Nihari burger and Karee chicken sandwich.We started with the chicken sandwich which looks like a prototypical southern fried spicy chicken. The first couple of bites was a little bit different because it does not taste like the prototypical southern fried chicken and I had to get that idea out of my head. Once I did I was able to fully enjoy this wonderful sandwich absolutely bursting with flavors from the Indian spices. The chicken was cooked perfectly with a very crispy outside and extremely juicy inside and the sauce they put on it is absolutely outstanding.Next was the burger which of course is made with lamb meat. It looked a lot like a southern pork barbecue sandwich. Maybe it was because my mind had already accepted the Indian flavors pared with what looks like a traditional southern sandwich but I liked this one even more than the chicken. It was spicy with mild Indian flavors and a slight barbecue tang. The taste of the meat which was incredibly tender and juicy really shined through too.I highly recommend you give this place a try especially for either of these two sandwiches.

Amazing, fresh & delicious food by Masterchef Farhan Momin. We had the Bihari wings which were melt-in-the-mouth and grilled perfectly. Karee Fried Chicken sandwich was out of this world. And Chicken Katakat was tasty too! Everything is cooked to order. We will be back!

Naaz at the checkout was very helpful, cooperative and even told me about some brilliant ideas to keep chicken frozen in a better way. Food from the kitchen is yummiest yummy!!

Called the store and wanted to let them know about spoiled and stinky chicken drumsticks. I wanted to talk to the store owner but front desk lady refused to put the owner on phone and she was very rude. She rudely asked me to bring the meat back. I tried to explain her that I cannot drive back and do not want their refund but as regular customer, I just wanted to let them know. Tried to explain it and asked again and again to put owner in phone. She refused..Very disappointed…. Just make sure before you buy meat here.

First and foremost worst customer service, the lady is short tempered and too rude, secondly, worst quality of meat, i asked for 4lbs of back leg clean and cut. The meat which i got is 3.1lbs with too much fat and lot of small hair, and when i tried to call the store multiple times to inform, they don’t answer the phone. After reading the reviews, looks like this happens often, I am not going to this store again

My first time coming here the chicken sandwich was so good and the Freshest sandwich next to me cooking it myself not dry at all the flavors new and different. Will Never get a chicken sandwich anywhere but here now. The customer service was excellent also. Its 35 minutes away from me and I want to go back over and over to try everything on the menu! 🤣

This place is incredible! Awesome authentic Desi food with unique food options by Master Chef Farhan Momin. The family also loved the quality of the meat we picked up to cook at home. Will definitely be back to try more food. Thanks for the great experience!

Naaz was a great lady and took care of me and my friend would definitely recommend both the Karee chicken sandwich or the nehari signature sandwich great service.

This is the first negative review that I have ever given. If I have a bad experience with a business I simply ignore it. But I had to say something about my experience that I had today. I called the store to make an order . The lady who picked the call was extremely rude and impatient . I am not much experienced in buying mutton so wasn’t sure which part of the goat will have more meat. I needed some help. The lady wasn’t even ready to give me some time to decide what piece I need. Very disappointing .

I highly recommend this place for the food. I loved their paneer katakat sandwich and also their biryani. Though it was a long drive from where I live but it was worth the drive. Give them a try.

Read about this restaurant on Bon Appetit magazine and wanted to check it out. I really enjoyed the iftar box with the nihari sandwich. I don’t usually eat lamb but this sandwich was good. Naaz was nice and helpful on the phone.

The experience at Atlanta Halal Meat & Food was a great twist on American Indian fusion food. The Nihari Burger which is their signature dish is something that everyone should try at least once. The atmosphere and the staff were friendly and hospitable. I am looking forward to making this my new place to grab a great bite to eat.

So I am visiting from Miami and heard lot of hype about this place from friends in the area. Let me tell you this place was AMAZING! The experience was just fantastic, food was delicious, fresh ingredients! Farmo Fries is a unique and extremely tasty way to start your food experience. Then the Nihari burger was just exceptional! Perfectly crafted sandwich and worth the trip! Highly recommend everyone to make a trip for a delicious meal!

I am not a person who writes reviews, but this is the second bad experience, the lady at the front desk is too rude, very very bad attitude.

One of the best chicken sandwiches Ive had in my life. The chicken was fresh and so flavorful. The sauce was an excellent touch (ask for more if you can). I drove 5 hours for this sandwich and when I tell you it was worth it, I definitely mean it was worth it. Shout-out to Ali at the front!

Disappointed with the service. The only option is takeout and the restaurant is not Covid-friendly. The food is overpriced and the quality is sub-par. Will not be coming back. They need to do work on customer service and how they react to customer requests.RE: owners comment -- if you are so concerned about health and safety, why did you staff refuse to do curbside pickup? The only way option you have is takeout and you cant be bothered to do curbside pick-up? How is that promoting health and safety? Do the bare minimum. If you cannot do even the bare minimum, at least say it politely-- whoever I spoke to on the phone made me feel like HE was paying ME to get the food rather than the other way around. Get your business basics right. It starts with taking care of the customer. The 5-star ratings will follow. I took my business to the restaurant next door and they happily did curbside pickup.

Past few purchases I thought I shouldn’t write as I am sure the store owners wouldn’t care for losing 1 customer, but I wanted to address this time as it truly irked me on the quantity and quality we received. Last week I ordered goat back leg over the phone, was told the weight could be lil’ over 4 lbs. I requested to give me tender meat and not a matured goat. Also, I told him to ensure it’s a medium cut for a specific dish. Even mentioned to him. The guy who took the order sounded nice and acknowledged. But when I went to pick up I was told it’s 5.2 lbs and that’s when I asked if it’s a big goat, they said it’s small to medium sized and meat is tender. It’s packed and ready to go, so we all generally trust these folks and leave. We were shocked to see the qty when my folks put it into a dish for cleaning and the size of the pieces- so big!We weighed on our scale and it sure disappointed as it read 4.5 lbs. and the meat turned out to be hard. So wrong!I wouldn’t care for few bucks here or there had they gave quality meat as assured. But, misleading or taking regular customers for granted and also deceiving is truly shameful. Hope they take notice of this and correct themselves out.

Called in to get some meat and it was cut and marinaded very well like we ordered. Also ordered naan and paratha which were good - and good size portions! Friendly service.

Honestly I had a bad experience with the quality of the meat and the credibility, being a first timer to this shop. I placed an order for 4 lb of goat back leg (including the fat). Just wanted to make sure, so got it weighed again before leaving, it was .25lb less than they charged for, although I asked them to include the entire back leg inc fat. I was ok with that little difference, but they mixed lamb chops, many bones and full of fat, meat was so dry, did not look fresh at all. Being a regular meat eater, I felt it was not worth the money and may not visit this place again.

This guys robbed me with Lamb/masala chops! He gave us 4 big bones with no meat on it for $15.00. I would not recommend this place for marinated meat. He said we will get you a fresh one packed from the back which I thought was be fresh but instead he gave me his waste. Never shop here.

Came here on recommendation of a friend and ordered the Karee chicken sandwich and the nihari sandwich. Damn! Best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time! So glad these guys are in the neighborhood. Will be recommending to everyone!!

Let me write this review before I forget. If you havent tried, I would suggest getting the chicken sandwich (karee) or the pulled lamb meat sandwich(nihari). Those are the only items Ive had from here. The flavor was spot on. In my opinion it had a satisfying heat level and the mayo sauce was something I really want to make at home but dont know how. Loved the american application to a very south asian flavor. Will be back for sure.

Today we had the chicken 65 and it was amazing!!! The chutney that it comes with is a great touch to offset the heat. With as great as the chicken was the paneer sandwich was even better. This is definitely a place I will be coming back to.

I get my chicken and mutton from here. The place is OK. The guy at the counter sounds over smart at times. The old man inside is really polite and friendly. Once I got chicken and it smelt weird when cooked.

Amazing food! I had the Karee Fried Chicken Sandwich and the Nihari Sandwich, and the flavor was definitely there. Since I ate there, I realized the eating area had a very modernized finish which was really nice to see.

What a great experience...we heard of this restaurant in Chicago, so of course had to check it out while in ATL.We were a party of 8 with 2 little kids and the accommodated us so well.The food is excellent: the nihari sandwich meat was perfectly seasoned and tender. The wings were so good and spicy. The tandoori chicken was great as well. Can’t wait to get back to have more.The staff were so kind and open, they helped us order our food and make sure we had enough. Also, to food came out fast!!Great experience and I highly recommend🤩

We found this hidden gem when shopping for Halal meat. We were not expecting a full menu of treats. We tried the Kari Chicken sandwich, the Tandoori Chicken Breast and Nihari Sandwich per the recommendation from the friendly staff.The Kari Chicken had a very unique flavor and was really tasty. Nothing like I have ever had before.The Tandoori Chicken Breast tasted really tender and fresh. It surprisingly came on a bed of rice and the usual accompaniments.Last but not least, the Nihari sandwich was outstanding. All of the flavors of Nihari in a sandwich form. The meat was lamb which is not typical, but tasted great.I am definitely coming back here and the friendly staff, fresh food and the unique flavors.

I just got some Meet and Ordered Biriyani for friday night dinner, worst Biryani ever I eat in my life and my 10 years old old the same.I strongly recommend to sell just what they are good at and dont try to sell something like this, I will never return to this place based on my first experience.I normally dont write reviews, i just have to stop eating and write this review first.

This place is The hidden gem in Atlanta!!!! If you are looking for delicious halal desi food in a super clean place, don’t go anywhere else. Must try the famous Nihari sandwich! Farming, the genius behind the place was there the night we arrived and directed us to the sandwiches and the tandoori chicken. I wish I had the stomach capacity to try the naan kabob because that looked so good!!! Ps Farmo- come back to Chicago!

The front desk guy was great but the food was horrible. We ordered Chicken Biriyanis and Butter chicken with Naan. Very disappointed. Biriyani was blant not authentic Hyderabad biriyani. Butter Chicken was oily not creamy. Horrible Naan

Went there to grab some goat meat after a bit but then found none of the staffs IN and OUT wearing masks....health & safety of customers and staffs during these tough times should be prioritized..

The say the shop opens at 10am but even after 15 mins past 10 the shop isn’t open.

Worst customer Service, i have to wait for extra 10 minutes once my order is ready just because the guy at the front desk is on his mobile and he dont have a clue that my order is ready, i have to ask him to check on my order then he realizes its ready, the packet was literally sitting there for like 10 minutes, and this is not the first time it happened, i had the same experience 4 months back
