I went to Wilkes Meat Market for the first time. The first thing I noticed was how big the store was. The second thing I noticed was many different products they have. Then I saw the selection of meats and it was impressive. The staff was friendly and helpful I will come back again.

Best meat in Suwannee/Sugar Hill area! The family business is still going strong. Any cut of meat you could possibly want. Dont waste your time at the grocery store, head to a professional meat merchant. They also have prepared sides and plenty of seasonings. They will tell you exactly how to prepare your purchase and given their experience I would trust the recommendation. If you are looking for a Prime bacon wrapped filet to throw on the grill, this is the place. Service with a smile, clean and brightly lit. Parking available right in front of the store.

This is the best tasting meat that I’ve found anywhere in my area! I bought a beautiful prime rib roast for Thanksgiving dinner and it was so delicious! They also called me to find out that I was coming to pick it up and always are very helpful and friendly when I shop there! Great place for buying a great cut of meat! They also have specials that I get weekly emails to review what is on sale there which I can call and place my order over the phone and it’s always ready!

I have been shopping here for a while and I just stopped by their new location in flowery branch. The employees there were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I bought some.of those yummy bacon wrapped filet mignons. Only thing I had left was the toothpick that held it together. I will continue to shop at both locations. They are an awesome group of people serving extreme quality products. From bulk/ cuts of meat to flavor of the day burger patties, lamb, ox tail, etc. They also carry a great selection of fresh produce and pre maid sides. I hope they bring back their dinner packages they had pre covid19 caused the general shutdowns.

Called on the phone to inquire about a special order. The initial person I talked to was polite and extremely helpful but then transferred me to someone who could better answer my question. They came on the phone and I assumed they had been told about my order, so I said “yes hello!” To which they responded “Yes what?” In a very curt and rude manner. I decided to take my business elsewhere.

This is the best butcher in the area hands down. They have the best steaks. If you are looking for a great place with folks who know what they are talking about, this is the place. It is a family run group and they care about their product and their customers. They have great specials and deals weekly which make it hard to stay away.

I would recommend Wilkes over any Meat Market in Atlanta. My wife and I love prime beef and Wilkes is the place to get it . We have a home in South Florida along with our Suwannee home and we are constantly having our beef packed and taken with us to South Florida, can’t find any beef this good down South. Ronnie and his family are the greatest, and kindest people. You want go wrong purchasing from Wilkes.

A veritable candy store for meat lovers! Incredible meat selection as you might expect, but they also offer a ton of meat related goods also: BBQ, veggies, etc. Left with six Angus ribeyes and bacon cheddar brats. Easy to go nuts there, for sure!

I was looking around for a quick bite for lunch between sessions of a class I was taking in the area. I went in expecting a deli somewhere based on reviews and found a sign that said sandwiches. I went to the counter and tried to order but didnt find a menu and the woman working there had no idea why I was trying to order a sandwich. A language barrier didnt help. Then someone else, seemingly an owner, came over and asked if I needed help. They said they used to sell sandwiches and that the hot bar that took its place was better for them. Confused I ordered food from the hot bar which was okay, but would have really preferred a deli sandwich. The register was by the front which is on the opposite side of the store which was also confusing. These folks need to better define their layout and get better signage/remove old signage.
