Oh boy do I love my new icon 20 golf cart from Northwest Yamaha golf carts of Tacoma, WA.They were willing to work with me and solve all my new cart bugs. I can get service anytime. Tried to purchase a golf cart here, but after months of unfulfilled promises and unreturned messages, ended up buying from another dealer. Several people I know have purchased here and theyve expressed similar frustrations. They seem disorganized and Ive heard they are working to improve their processes.

I was surprised how hard the salesman tries to scam the sale. I was very interested in buying a cart. Their advertising says it runs great, When I called the dealer he assured me three times it was a great runner and fast. Later he called me and said the batteries are no good but for $750 more he could make it run. Three weeks later I see the same cart on their web page advertised the same, waiting for another scam on a victim.

My husband and I tried so hard to buy a golf cart here. We worked with Jim in person to pick one out. He told us he would have his mechanic look it over and make a few repairs and that he would send us a quote. Jim never followed up and after four unreturned phone messages, we finally tracked him down a week later only to find out he had sold the cart. He then promised to send a new quote for another cart, but again never came through. This guy over promised and completely under delivered. We took our business elsewhere.

We have worked with NW Yamaha Golf Cars for 4 years. Ever since they switched locations and went under new management it has been a mess. We have been given prices on carts and then upon pick up of the carts the price increases by $600 a cart. We are told a fleet of carts is coming in and have clients lined up for purchase only to be told that he oversold them and now they are no longer available. This is bad business practices and unfortunately trying to talk to Jim about how to rectify the situation he whines about how his job is hard and tells us if we dont like it then dont do business with them. Which is interesting because he is the manager. Not the owner. If NW Yamaha goes under new management or they deliver what they promise, we may explore doing business with them again. As of now any all referrals will stop and so will Yamaha customs. EZGO if far superior anyhow.

Great experience....professional, knowledgeable, helpful. Needed new batteries and completemaintenance done, then we added lights. Picked up and delivered our cart. We bought the cart in 2005 from NW Yamaha and had same experience...thanks guys!!
