I was looking for the new SIG 365 SAS a few months ago so I called Blackland and they put me on the list (first on the list) and when it came in they called right away and when I picked it up they had not even opened the box. Smooth buying experience with these great guys, my new go to gun shop.Referred them to a friend and they had the same great experience.

First time in the shop. It was recommended by a friend. Eric is absolutely a great guy. Great service and great prices. Extremely happy with the Savage rifle I purchased. A must gun shop to visit.

I wanted to make sure that the Austin area is aware of the best gun shop in Texas is right here in there back yard,,, I have bought 4 hand guns from Eric and his staff and never once have had any problems or issues with them,,, The last hand gun I bought from Eric was a 9 mm Glock gen 4. Two weeks after buying the gun was jamming after the 10th round, I called Eric and explained to him what was happening, come to find out the Gen 4 has a defect and Eric was the first one to inform us of this and the new part was ordered on the spot . Two days later the part came in and with Eric explaining how and what to do the gun.And now the gun is as good as good. With the way the world is today and the big chain stores with KIDS working behind the gun bars and they have no clue what there talking about or doing or even selling .So if your looking for a good deal on firearms I am telling you that BLACK LAND GUNS is the place to go,,, I may shop other store stores but I only buy from Eric at Black Land Guns

Best gun shop Ive ever worked with, hands down. No hassle, quality stock, and if they dont have it they can always get it quick. Most shops will try to upsell you or are not very polite. That is not so with Blackland. The staff is very knowledgeable and always respectful.

Its a small gun shop in a small town. Dont expect 10,000 square feet of weapons with a title 3 wall of dreams and a coffee bar / sandwich shop. This is a legit Texas gun shop for people who like to shoot well made guns. I didnt see any hi-point paperweights, nor did I see an $8,000 ar- but the staff was personable and I was treated well when making a relatively small purchase- which isnt always the case in gun stores! Would recommend.

Blackland is my go to gunstore in Central Texas. They are helpful, have very competitive prices and if they dont stock it, can usually find what you are looking for quickly.

Needed some help replacing rail system on my AR, read some reviews and thought about seeing if they could help out removing the barrel nut on my upper which I was having issues breaking loose... with gunsmith advertised they wouldnt even try to help me out stated that he didnt know what someone had done to the gun before, I had told them it was a stock gun purchased and I had no vice to get a good grip to break it loose. Still offered no help to my situation even tho I was willing to purchase a 200 dollar rail from them, I left disappointed and was told good luck on the way out. After leaving, stopped by the local Lowes hardware and purchased a vice, mounted it and within a minute already had the nut loose! Thanks blackland for no help for a simple task even tho I was more then willing to spend money with you guys, i would be wary of a more daunting task .... I will now be driving out of my way to spend my money else where!

Very uncooperative when it comes to the FFL. I tried for weeks to get a gun shipped using their FFL. Their excuse was email problems. A professional establishment does not have computer problems. I am not sure how Blackland works but I know I will NEVER do business with them!
