I was told by dealership that I needed rear brakes. I took my car to The Garage and upon inspection they said my front and rear brakes were fine. So apparently the dealership was trying to sell me something I didn’t need.I appreciate the Garage professionalism and honestly, I will not go back to the dealership but I will use the Garage in the future and highly recommend them.

These guys were awesome! Super friendly staff that go above and beyond! I live 2700 miles away and was treated like a local. They fit me in last minute for both my transmission filters on my Duramax and its running like brand new! Thanks a million guys!

I am supper stock about this place and everyone that works there, they are friendly, professional and treat you with the outmost respect. I brought in my truck in after another shop in town basically killed the engine by performing sub-standard service, took it there to get all fluids checked and they did not bother to check the condition of the radiator or it’s fluids even after I informed them that the car was seating for a couple years. I was road tripping when my car started breaking down coming up through the mountains, I was guided here after stopping to have my codes read.The staff were incredibly friendly and supportive, especially considering how stressed and freaking out I was. The price was very fair and they were just all around awesome people, I would absolutely recommend this lovely garage!

This place is the best. I have been in the with my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 and they treated me right.They will not change parts out just to make money off you. They even helped diagnose the problem and then let me take it home to change the part myself becuase I had a defective pump from Rockauto and they knew they couldnt get it covered on the return so they let me take it to try and save money.Then after I changed the pump put I have another defective pump from Rockauto and they still tried to save me money. I will be back to have them fix it. They will only do the work that needs to be done.One of the best shops on the mountain.

Cant say enough about this place! I transport dogs all over the country and had an issue with my alternator this morning near their shop. They understood what I was up against with the heat and rising temperature. Got us in and back on our way with a more then reasonable price. I would recommend them to anyone in need of auto repair. Okay those that know me know I never never post anything, but this place of business is the exception. The Garage, the girls and mechanics are amazing, this is the most honest and reliable place to go to, they never steer you wrong. When you walk into this place they make you feel like they have known you forever and so trust worthy. I would highly, highly recommend.

We’ve just discovered the Garage this year on a friend’s recommendation and they have not disappointed with their excellent service and great customer care. My 14 year old Rav 4 drove just like new after a tune-up and my dad’s 18 year old truck drove smooth as can be after a trip to the shop. They are highly knowledgeable with all make and models of vehicles and prompt with their service. They have very fair prices and a friendly atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this shop over any in the area.

Surprisingly genuine, sincere, and professional service. They encouraged me to bring my car in for a free follow-up to make sure everything was okay after repairs. They were very up-front about the price of parts and labor, and the total cost for all service was very reasonable. I have never had a better experience with an auto shop in my life and will only go here. Highly recommend.

I went here at the recommendation of a friend after having some bad experiences with other mechanics in this town. Very friendly and professional staff. My check engine light was on and they did not charge me to run the code. They identified it as a problem with the catalytic converter. They recommended I have the work done at a shop down in Bakersfield since that shop would be able to do the work at a better price than they could offer. I was quite impressed with their honesty and their referral to an excellent shop in Bakersfield to have my catalytic converter replaced at a reasonable rate. I will be returning to the garage for future service.

We recently moved to California and our new home in Tehachapi. Before week 1 was complete wed been robbed, fought a massive ant invasion in our kitchen and my check engine light came on!!! Needless to say I was unhappy and honestly regretting the move. Then after some research we chose to take my car to The Garage. Best decision ever!! Everyone we spoke to from introduction, to diagnose, to repair were wonderful 🙂 When I brought my car in I was informed it would be an all day wait. It was obvious to the owner this was an unwelcome surprise. Instead of ignoring me and sending me to the coffee area, she asked questions. She and the front person, Terri listened with shock and sympathy to my story and then equally shocked me by arranging a ride home!!! Terri volunteered to drive me home and take my car back to the shop. It was an all day repair, but I was kept informed and once again surprised when they said Terri would pick me up and bring me back. Honestly at this point I didnt care how much it cost to repair my car, but again I was pleasantly surprised. The cost was very reasonable. Thank you again. I will never forget what you did for me that day. These 2 women and the staff restored my faith in humanity and the kindness of strangers. I will not take my car anywhere else. I highly reccomend you do the same. I give The Garage not 5 stars, but hundreds ❤🙂

I was returning to the midwest from the Sacramento valley area and my Rav4 Broke. Capital B. Turns out an earlier oil leak had caused damage to the engine, and going up the hill on 58 it threw a rod. RIP engine.I was about 15 minutes out of Tehachapi. I googled and saw the reviews on this place and decided they would have to deal with me. I called them and they recommended a tow. At this point, I still dont know that my baby is dead.I get to the Garage with my busted car and we unload it. The mechanic comes out to see it, has me start the engine and explain the circumstances surrounding the issue, and plugs the computer in. He informs me that it would cost more to repair than to replace. Now I know Im totaled. They *do not* charge me a red cent for the diagnosis.I live in Utah. I have no car. This is where the lovely ladies in the Garages office start to show their halos.I have a friend with a vehicle on the east coast. Its going to take me forever to figure out what to do with my poor, broken steed. Im trying frantically to organize transportation to the Fresno airport and storage for all the stuff I have in the car (two tents and supplies for a weekend camping).While Im in the middle of that, the girls inform me that they found someone to buy the car for about a grand. More than Id get for it if I tried to figure it out myself. Awesome.Its going to take me forever to get to the east coast, grab my new vehicle, and get the title to the girls at the office. They give me two weeks to leave it there.Fast forward another week and change, Ive found myself in the area again and I have the title. The place that will buy the car needs me to get it to them by 5. The tow company is keeping me waiting. And waiting. And waiting.Its too late to get it there. I gotta be back in Utah for work or my boss will toast me (having taken over a week off to go to the east coast for the new ride already). Im screwed.Once again, enter the angels.Within minutes, these wonderful ladies have found me a tow (for 50 bucks cheaper than I was ready to pay) that they trust to get the check back to them the next day, and have offered to arrange the tow of the vehicle and the overnighting of the check to my house in Utah. FOR FREE. I cannot begin to say how much this saved my bacon.Go to this garage. If they cant help you, you cant be helped. Its that simple.

Most of the time bringing a motorhome into a shop, doesnt bring a big welcome. not with this place. It was just for a smog, but I was greeted with freindly faces and was very happy . the price for the motorhome smog was lower than i paid before in tehachapi. you run a nice shop .

Had shaking in my car and call and got an appointment for the next week but then they had me come In the same day I called and got the appointment and fixed my car within two hours, best experience. 1st choice car service
