While sharing a family date night at Tempe Marketplace, the kids made a request for chocolate. We almost bought a random chocolate bar from book and but then saw the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory directly across the way. Upon entering, the place was clean and tidy. Lots of wood and glass. Upscale feel for a candy shop. We’re we’re created and attended to promptly. The kids were wide eyed and ready to take everything. I looked directly fir the dark chocolate truffle selection. I love flavors that are dark and strong, yet deep and alluring... much like my heart I s’pose. Lol. The kids grabbed milk chocolate covered marshmallows fir $3.25 each. I got a dark chocolate haystack for $2.50 and a dark chocolate espresso truffle fir $3.25. Definitely pricey but the kids didn’t say a word for at least 30 minutes while enjoying their choco-pops. Worth it! The haystack was more dense then I would have liked but the truffle was divine. It was a good stop to end the evening.......I have been in community economic development (neighborhood level economic development) since 2012, helping start ups and small businesses to grow from surviving to thriving. Its a nice little chocolate and candy shop! The inside is a little small and cramped but very clean and if not easy to navigate easy to see the products offered. Said products are a little on the pricey side BUT very good and mostly worth the money spent to get them. Customer service was very nice and friendly in all aspects youd expect, from start to beginning! Id give this place a go again and recommend it to someone who wants a neat little dessert or snack after dinner!
Staff was very friendly and helpful (4 stars). The Pecan clusters get the 2 star rating. Hardly any pecans in a waxy tasting, very thin $2.50 cluster. I hope my pecan fudge is better
If you are in the mood for chocolate this is the place to go. From fudge to Carmel apples they have plenty of options to choose from. Greeted by friendly staff that had no problem answering any questions we had. Some of the items seem a bit pricey. Other wise it’s a great place to go for a sweet treat!
Delicious chocolate covered strawberries and apples 🍎
Kelly the manager has a very bad business sense, sorry to say unfortunately. She might be in the wrong business of sales. I wanted a box for my sisters $10 apple and didn’t not want to be charged .95 cents. I told her I’d buy an apple for everyone (group of 5) plus my sister’s gift and she said no. Each apple is $10 x 6 = $60+ So I walked out, what sense does this make?! Sales is not her strong point. Never to return.
Had the chocolate dipped cheesecake. It was wonderful
I love this place, their raspberry truffles are amazing! I also like the chocolate covered strawberries, grapefruit hibiscus truffles, and the lavender and cream bites. Ive also taken my kids here to get their chocolate covered marshmallows. It is pricey but to good to pass up!
They had exactly what I always crave here ☺️ and the variety is better than I expected.
My wife loves this stuff. Its a little pricey but an excellent product.
Best local chocolate
Place was clean, chocolate delicious,a little too pricey but its worth it. If you ask them nicely they might add chocolate to your caramel apple.
Save yourself the trouble and dont bother wasting your time. I went in to buy some toffee. Evidently, as of the first of the year, they no longer sell by the weight. Each piece was $4.15 each!! Ha, I dont think so. They are out of their minds. I didnt buy anything and will never go back. If you have a craving for toffee, you can get almond roca in the grocery store and it would be just as good but for a lot less!!
Best Carmel apples an dipped 🍒
The Avalanche bars are absolutely amazing. One of the best desserts I have ever had.
Nice place decently priced for the chocolate! The carmel apples are good as well and a nice treat! The staff was also friendly and not shy to offer a sample.
They have good chocolate, but more on the expensive side. I got a little bit of sticker shock walking in there the other day, but I bought a couple items, such as the English toffee and some caramel items, very delicious. If money is no object, come here, if it is though, maybe pick up a sampler pack from a major retailer.
Loved the Unicorn horn pretzel but the macadamia nut toffee was grainy, soft, and disappointing.Beautiful store with lots of treats to choose from.
Love the caramel apples and assorted milk chocolate! This is my go-to gift
Walked in one day expecting it to be overpriced, but it wasnt! Great treats for the family at great prices. Picked up chocolates and root beer floats to beat the heat
Delish! I tried the truffles; strawberry rhubarb was my favorite!! Reminded me of back home in Michigan!
Sorry to see it closed in the mall nearest to our condo.Drove a little further because chocolate is so yummy!
Delicious treats
Customer service is pathetic.
Pricey but worth every penny!
