John and Phillip take great care of my computer needs. One of my least favorite sports is solving computer issues. Therefore, having superior technical help from John and Phillip make life a little less stressful. They help you navigate any computer related situation and explain it to you so you have a solid understanding. I have the maintenance plan and I get a friendly reminder from John or Phillip to stop by so they can run diagnostics on my computer. They are truly concerned about the health of my computer. The needs of my computer were addressed, expressed to me, then fixed. They technicians were careful to explain the options and take care of getting the CPU fixed as promptly as possible.
I built a new gaming computer. Two days of use before it died on me. After troubleshooting myself I took it down for them to look at. What mattered to me here is how they talked to me. They were professional and treated me like a human. At no point, even when discussing payment, did I feel that I was a dollar figure to them. After testing everything they could they gave me the most likely cause and explained why they got to that conclusion. So after replacing the part and a minor issue that they fixed for me, my computer is working properly. I can likely find the same service somewhere else but rarely do I get the excellence of customer service I got at their store.
Phil and John are very kind, patient and respond immediately to any questions or issues I have with my equipment. I feel confident in the services they provide.
It is go to know what you dealing with. I am very well pleased with Data Doctors cleaning my laptop. It do not shut off any more.

I have mostly interacted with Phil. He is friendly and knowledgeable. He and John, the second person I met briefly, were able to resolve my computer issue and I was back on line with my computer within 24 hours. This has become my go to place for computer help.
I have used Data Doctors for years, and I am always pleased with the service. I pay a monthly fee to have my computers maintained. When I have needed repairs, the price is reasonable and the repairs are done quickly.

To wonderful service i received in the past couple of days, well there are not enough stars to fill in to show it! It was fast, efficient and the staff was amazing. Phillip at the Tempe office kept me informed every step of the way. Even on the day i was coming to pick up my laptop he was sure to let me know he wouldnt be there but he would leave excellent notes for his co worker( also amazing) to share everything he did. Best part of it all, my computer is working fabulously!!!

Philip was very helpful, kind to an old customer with faulty hearing.Im giving it only 4 stars because Im not so sure about a few of thethings offered. E.g. faster online movement. But its not a critical issue for me either.
First free Microsoft Support screwed up my computer. Next Data Doctors only solution (the easy way out) was to re-install Windows 10. The only thing I asked them to do was restore my email from what they called a corrupt image. $270 later Im given back a bare bones Windows 10 system with my email restored to 3 days before. I didnt even know where to begin re-setting up my computer when I got it home. But the first place I started was to restore my email history which I did within 10 minutes of thought and common sense. I also found the techs always to be in a hurry and yes we know types. Geeks without the skills is what they are. The way I see it Data Doctors owes me $270 for the aggravation and wasting my time. If all you were going to do was reinstall Windows, I could have done that for free. Your service and company is weak and possibly a scam. I would go to Geek Squad next time. At least you have a corporation there to back their work and not just Brett.ALL I ASKED was to restore my email from the user files. They restored 3 days worth of corrupted mail. When I got the machine home I spent 5 minutes restoring over 6 years of email in the corrupt user files. I will be disputing the charges considering I did what I hired you to do, you failed at. I was very clear and not listened to. Brett you need some people people like yourself. Just because someone is a geek it doesnt me they are skilled.PS: Was I charged for a Windows 10 license? I already had a valid license. Also, received a follow up call from someone named Lenny today that left a 6-digit phone number to return his call. Pretty smart eh!
They seemed very interested in my questions, took unhurried time, gave me new info. I love the ability to call and they answer my problems.
Not happy with their service. Charged me $120 to open up my computer to tell me the motherboard is faulty. When I went to pick it up it was still taken apart. So they just threw together and damaged the heat shield and WiFi wires.

Walk into Data Doctors yesterday with the rudest customer service I probably had in my life. I came in with my Sony laptop and explain the man my computer is running slow and I can hear a strange sound coming from the computer after being in use for a long period of time. Without even touching my laptop he proceeds to tell me my hard drive is broken and told me the cost was going to be $510 dollars. I tried to ask is there some diagnostics tools you can do so we can be positive about the problem, and what is break down of the price(cost of labor and parts). He immediately interrupts me with a sour look Cant give you a break down of cost for parts and labor, and I been doing this for many years now and I dont need to test anything. Now I can understand not telling me the break down in labor cost, but I dont understand is telling me the cost for part. For a Somebody to not break down the difference from parts and labor to a customer, and wont run a full diagnostics service(which I had a coupon for) seems Iffy to me. Now for the icing on the cake, asking the person name was like trying to pry a dog from his toy . Everytime I ask his name the response will be that is irrelevant So now its irrelevant to have manners and know the person name to whom I am speaking with. Moral of the story is why would I give my business to a person who talking down to me
First of all...dont go to a place where you cant see the lab and meet the technicians face to face. Data Doctors sends in your hard drive to another location (which they dont tell you) when its worked on. Having it shipped increases the chance of your hard drive getting more damaged. Theres another Tempe data recovery place where you can actually walk into the lab and meet the technicians.Heres my review of Data Doctors:Perhaps its the fact that Data Doctors couldnt help me recover my data but I have this lingering suspicion that there was some human error. I was really banking on this professional service to do the utmost careful job to recover my data but in the end they said that there were gouges on my platters from the failed heads. I was previously told that there were none by the technician during the original diagnostic.Im now at another data recovery company whom I feel I should have gone with in the first place because I can see the lab as I walked in, and felt like I had a personal relationship with the engineer working on my hard drive. I was able to talk to them and see the place where I know my hard drive was being worked on. The Data Doctor woman associate at the Tempe location couldnt answer a lot of my questions and she left me in the dark as I reluctantly handed over my drive. There wasnt a lot of reassurance of knowledgeable sense from this girl. Being at this other recovery location was a total day and night experience.The engineer at this other recovery company said though the heads have failed, they can perform raw recovery on my platters. Im relieved that he told this to me and now Im so mistrusting of the professional advice from Data Doctors who told me and assured me that my data is unrecoverable and that theres nothing in this industry that can recover my data.Im so sad that I wasted my money and time and I even thought of potentially spending nearly $2000 just to get my data. There has seriously been a lot of heart ache over loosing this data and I feel angry to think there is a possibility that untrained hands might have damaged my drive further.This experience has left me mistrusting of Data Doctors and never wanting or recommending anyone I know to do business with them.

My experience with data doctors was fantastic. My phone was basically unusable due to a manufacturing error so I did not have any access to my phone. They managed to extract everything I needed from it. The reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the price. The price was really high for what I was asking for, but I guess it was necessary since they would need to use advanced technology to extract what was needed considering you cannot turn on the phone at all. In addition to the high price, I needed to wait a full two weeks for them to finish the job and if you wanted them to work on it faster you would need to pay an even more ridiculous price, and when I say ridiculous, I mean enough money to simply buy a brand new phone. But this is how much I valued the data that was inside my phone. All in all, they get the job done when you need your device to be fixed or need something out of it.
