Carlos Hernandez Ortiz was the tech who came to do the rejuvenation of our heat pump in preparation for the cold weather. He was very courteous and explained what he was going to do. After he had completed his inspection he showed me the photos of the system and explained what he recommended to make the unit be efficient. My husband was not home so Carlos suggested getting him on the phone to explain the options. He seemed to want to be sure we got the best price for the work that was decided on. He completed the work and showed me the “after”pictures. I cannot say enough nice things about this young man. He was very professional and knowledgeable about what he suggested for our unit. This company deserves a great review. “Team Reno (Rino?)” WORKED their a**es off!!! The day it was 115-degrees, my AC went out at 8pm. I called 11emergency lines of A/C companies. Goettl is the only one that answered! How can this be? I had a whole team responds with assessment, product options and new installation. Team Reno cam to my house and were the most professional group of people I’ve EVER seen of *any* company in the 14 years I have lived in Arizona. They worked until 1am to ensure my 98-degree house (with 2 cats) had A/C. They’d worked a 19-hr day and didn’t leave my house until it was done right. They even brought a portable A/C for me while they worked on my house. I could not believe how good these people were. I will also hire them for my maintenance so I never face this dire emergency again. It was terrifying. PSA: In Arizona, make a plan for if you’re A/C goes out in the summer. My lack of planning trapped me in this emergency.

I wanted to leave a review for Goettl And specifically Gilbert the plumber. I called Goettl today to see about having a toilet seal fixed and get some estimates for some other work on a house that I purchased this year. They were able to send Gilbert out today and he spent hours with me going through all of my options making sure I understood everything talking to me about all of the different items that I was looking to have added/updated in the house. He answered every one of my questions, he was incredibly respectful and helped me get everything sorted and scheduled and they will be out tomorrow to put in all of the new pipes water heater and purification system! I know that the radio ads seem like a gimmick but these guys are amazing! I will be requesting Gilbert again!

Adam did a great job. Adam arrived early and knew exactly what I needed done. Adam was able to fix our bathtub spiket and correct what someone else had done incorrectly. Adam then worked tirelessly to get our other bathtub unplugged. It took several tries, but he finally got the tub draining properly.

This is not the first time we have used Goettl, but lets just say the first technician that come out to do this years annual maintenance, Rejuvenation, left us questioning the quality and extent of the services performed. We called Goettl with our concern and they scheduled another service call. They sent technician Brad Clark who did a fantastic job fulfilling the obligations that we were promised from Goettl and at no additional cost. Prior to Brad going above and beyond his obligations we were ready to find another service provider for next year. Brad has restored our faith in Goettl and we will continue to be a dedicated customer.

I have used Goettl many times for plumbing, purchase of a water conditioner, and AC services, but I will no longer. I have a bath renovation that required a plumber to install a valve for my shower. I also needed the drain overflow to be changed out. I provided all of the parts. I had already cut the wall out for access. I needed only the labor for those two parts to be installed. They came to my property to evaluate the job. I noted to them what the job was before they showed up. There was a $79 fee for coming. Once the plumber evaluated the job he quoted me $2000! He said that it was a 2 man job and would take 4 hours. SMH. When I got over the sticker shock, he offered the car buying scenario... I can talk to my manager. After that call, the new price was $1000. LOL. Thats price gouging! I declined. I got two more licensed plumbers to give me quotes. Both came in at $300. I will not bother calling Goettl again.

Absolutely perfect experience!!! I have seen the billboards and ads all over the place since I moved to Arizona and now I finally needed some AC work done myself. It’s always a little underwhelming getting technicians out to your house and hoping they care enough to do a good job and know their skill set, but you guys blew me away! Your technician, Tony, was phenomenal! He was so kind and courteous and fixed our problem in under an hour. He was honest, thorough, and even gave us some nice pointers to keep our AC on point. Tony took his time and let me know about our coils being a bit messy from the renovation, suggesting a clean out without being pushy at all. I will for sure call back to see Tony again when we are ready! You guys impressed me so much and I can tell you employ the best of the best. Thank you Tony!!

In the past I have had AC service people check out my system, but have never felt they were really sure of what they were telling me. Goettl was a different level of service. The technician, Nathan T., did a really thorough check of my air conditioning system. It was the most detailed, extensive analysis I’ve ever seen. He even got into my attic to check the insulation. He was knowledgeable and professional, and if I were going to replace the AC I would certainly choose this company.

Our air conditioner went out. They sent a technician to come out. He was excellent and knowledgeable. We ended up purchasing a new AC. They brought in portable air conditions for us while they replaced the AC. The installers worked very hard and did a good job. They were very friendly and worked hard with no breaks. Before they left, of course they checked air flow and temps throughout the house, they put everything back in the garage, cleaned up and helped us download the app for our thermostat. Lastly, they took care while they were in and out of both our yards being careful to close gates so our dogs stayed safe. We made a good choose having Goettl. Q came for routine maintenance on the AC unit and found that the capacitor was no longer performing within specs. We discussed pricing and he was able to do the replacement quickly. Q was very professional, worked efficiently, and was also very polite and friendly. I have yet to have an unpleasant experience with Goettl and plan to continue using them for future service/repairs.

Called to see what was wrong with one unit. Great sending out service same day and charged $79 to give diagnostic. Reasonable but diagnostic was AA batteries needed to be replaced in the thermostat. Great however tech said has to charge something and I would have to pay an additional $79. I said I was already paying $79 to come out but he needed to charge me something. He said he found some other issue but I felt like this was a find some problem to make money on and I didn’t feel as if I could trust recommendation. Considered buying annual maintenance plan but then was told an amount and when I went to pay it was higher and said why the difference and he said he may have said the lower amount but it was the higher one. I paid the $158 and felt uneasy afterwards and called the office. They said they do t know why I was charged twice. I explained I felt like I was being taken advantage of and they said they would refund the $79. Just be cautious when dealing with techs trying to make money especially when a unit stops working and you need coolness and will pay even when you’re being taken advantage of!

Josh came to see if he could help with my air conditioner. As it turned out it was completely frozen like something from the Alps. He was very pleasant and honest. It was time for a new unit not just replacement of parts. I had to spend the night with a neighbor and am now ready for the crew to arrive for installation. Thank you Josh for all the education also. My air conditioner had stopped blowing cold air so I called Goettl to send out a technician. Chris Gonzales was the technician and he was so helpful. After confirming the blower was working just not blowing cold air, he checked the unit on the roof. Within 15 minutes he was able to fix the problem and I had nice cool air blowing again. Chris was so nice and pleasant. He was very professional and new exactly what he was doing. I will definitely ask for him, personally, the next time my air conditioner needs service. Thanks Chris!

The process started with Brandon coming out to inspect our leaking water heater. Him and dispatch were great with communication and timing. Brandon showed up and gave us all of our options in full detail. Once we decided to move forward, we had Quade and Hunter as our installation team and they did not disappoint either. They showed up 1 hour after we decided on which unit we wanted to go with. They were both extremely nice and personable. They were very efficient and thorough during the installation process as well as just overall great guys. I would recommend these guys 10 out of 10 times. Thank you to all of the guys that helped us through the process.And to top it off, Quade and Hunter found some super cute toys ( stuffed Sadie dog and a fun flash light) for my sons. In this day and age there are few companies I have encountered that actually do things right. Goettl is the exception here! Our upstairs A/C died late Sunday afternoon and while Goettl was not able to get someone out that night, they did make arrangements to get a warranty tech out the next day, and waived the service call fee fir the inconvenience. (Thats how you do it!). Stephen (Tech), was polite, helpful, and found the issue within a few minutes. He replaced the defective part and also called the office, spoke to the manager (John) who waived the labor fee as well. Thats going above and way beyond, twice! Our A/C was up and running and our family will be back upstairs tonight, cool and comfy, in their own beds. This review was also shared on Yelp!

I purchased my AC unit from Goettl 10 years ago. A few days ago my furnace blower motor went out and needed to be replaced so I called Goettl to do a diagnostic and replacement.Goettl quoted me $3,110 to replace my furnace blower motor. He said it would probably take two or three days to get the motor as parts are hard to get from the manufacturer, but he said they have a team with parts to replace my whole system today if I would like to go that way which would be great, the technician said, because then everything would be back under warranty and they could just fix any issues at no cost to me.I paid the $79 diagnostic fee and said I will find someone else to do it. The technician, who was the most over dramatic repair person I have ever meet, said, oh no, what are you going to do.I got a quote from another company for just over $2k. I then called a third company who gave me a quote for just over $1,100. They said a distributer had the part in stock and would be out to fix it the same day I called. The technician replaced the part in 45 minutes and my AC was working again.If something seems expensive, it is.

Our technician, Josh, was great. He was thorough and attentive. After thorough diagnostics it was determined that we will need to replace our air conditioner. Josh left all of our information with his sales team “comfort specialist” and told us they would be contacting us by 10am the following morning. When we were not contacted by 2pm, I reached out to Goettl again and requested a call with a “comfort specialist”. I was told they would be contacting me immediately. It is two days later and we have still not heard from anyone. It appears as if Goettl has decided that they don’t want our business.

Amazing service. We called them in the evening regarding our broken air conditioning. They sent somebody the next day and by the end of the day we had a completely new AC system. They were up front about price and cost and gave us several options so we were able to pick a price that suited us the most. All of the employees were very respectful and polite, even though our house was an embarrassing mess and our dogs did not leave them alone. Really happy with their service and glad we called them.

We’ve had issues with our A/C not energizing when we adjust t-stat. Tech came out and inspected all the pertinent equipment and controls. Didn’t find any specific issue but did point out a problem with the original install that needs to be corrected. Eliminated any serious issues, gave us some piece of mindand didn’t charge us an arm and a leg. For the time spent on site it was a great value. We have become Goettl customer’s moving forward.

They are really good about getting you financed and selling you a system. When it comes to follow up, good luck. They did a great job of Charging $21000, And installing brand new unit, ducts, and insulation. Trying to get somebody to come out and fix the hole in the ceiling that they left from the installation though thats a whole another story. It is now 3 months later I have had them out here more than a dozen times and I still have water damage and a hole in my ceiling and the paint is the wrong color. They dont follow through on what they say they are going to do, they dont return phone calls, they dont return text messages, and they dont return emails. Bottom line if you want to get overcharged and under delivered, this is the company for you. PS, dont listen to what Ken Goodrich, the owner of the company, says on his voice recording, you are not the most important person in the world or even an important customer for that matter.

Ive been using Goettl for the last few years on our AC service. Thought they were a very reputable and honest organization. Very disenchanted to learn how grossly overpriced their product is - to the point of gouging. The man who came to our house was very nice and informative, until he told me it would cost $1200 to replace our four capacitors that were out of specs. Something another reputable company would do for $200.Goettls internal star rating on their systems is a psychological trick to get you to buy their more expensive products. The sales manager Tyler went from wanting to charge me $39,943 for two of their 4-star systems to $25,500 all in a 30 minute conversation. All the while Im still feeling like their prices were not matching up to the rest of the market. They tell you they do all of this extra work, when most companies do the same. I will be replacing my 4 ton/3 ton systems with the 2 stage system just like their 4-star product for $16,000 from a more honest company that has done work for my family in the past.I will never use this company again due to their deceptive sales strategies and frankly dishonest tactics. Mr. Goodrich should be ashamed of these strategies, especially when his advertising touts such honest and solid old fashioned value systems.

Amazing customer service!I couldn’t be more impressed with the service I received on every level. From the first women I spoke to, to the dispatcher, to the techs that came and helped us. Every one was incredibly friendly and professional. I’m sure there are other companies that have better pricing but I’d find it hard to believe any would have better service then Goettl. Our AC stopped working in the middle of a 109 degree day. Our home warranty company wouldn’t send anyone until the holiday weekend was over. There is a toddler and a senior citizen in our house, and we could not wait 2 more days for help to arrive. Luckily Ramiro showed up and wasted no time solving our problem! He offered a clear diagnosis, with supporting facts and photos. He used language that made it easy to understand, and he also advised us on important issues that units as old as ours face. I paid for a brand new unit 4 years ago for my rental property. The outside insulation was never finished. Ive called them now several times only to be told it will be solved and a manager will contact me, EVERY time. There is no way to directly speak to a manager. Their customer service system varies greatly and they dont keep their promises. I dont like to wait for a call that never comes. The technician has been out there three times and hasnt finished the job either. Ultimate bureaucracy. The hand doesnt talk to the foot... Do NOT give them your business.

My AC went out a couple days ago, we called around to some places we had used before and everyone seemed to have no availability, so next, we called Goettl and they were able to get us in within the next two days, which we were relieved to hear. They came and told us that our unit was old and was going to have to be replaced soon, but that the motor on the compressor was out and could be replaced today and get us through the next month or two of hot weather. So the motor was replaced and the house finally started to cool down (around 1 pm) and we made arrangements to have another company, that we’ve used for years and trust, to come price out a new AC unit. The next morning I wake up around 8 and the temperature in the house is above the set point and the AC is once again broken. So we reach out to Goettl again saying that the motor installed less then 20 hours ago, is not working, so they send a technician out who tells us that the AC unit itself needs to be replaced because the compressor is completely broken. I was obviously irritated considering we had spent almost a thousand dollars the day before on a motor, which was brand new and still functioning, but obviously wasn’t the answer to our AC issues. The technician told us that their cheapest units started around 10-12,000 and the most expensive and energy efficient ones would cost around 20-22,000, with the technician telling us that the cost of the motor would be taken off the total cost of the unit since it was just installed the day previous. We told them we would call them back with what we decided to do. Thankfully the other company came through and priced a full new energy-efficient unit with all the service, new equipment, crane use, and drainage layout for a price of $10,265, which was Goettl’s pricing for their cheapest units. And best of all, the other company scheduled us the next day for unit installation so that we wouldn’t have to wait around in our house where the temperature stayed around 90-95*. We called Geottl back saying that we wanted them to come take their motor back, which was fresh out of box less then 48 hours ago, and we wanted a partial refund because the motor was not the solution that was promised to us, however, we still wanted to pay for the technician’s time spent at our house. Long story short, that phone call ended in “we can’t take that part back, it’s been used”, and “that technician wasn’t authorized to tell you that you’d get money off the unit because of the motor”... Basically contradicting everything else that other employees at Goettl had said. There just seemed to be a company-wide lack of uniformity and understanding. Multiple staff members told us “at Goettl we do things the right way, not the easy way”, and with our experience this last week, Im concerned what would be considered the “easy way” if what they did was the “right way”. Before this week I had only heard positive things about Goettl but unfortunately I will not be returning for any sort of future service.

This is a shady company! Bad business practices! Goettl over charges customers for A/C Units! Goettl doesn’t make there own A/C Units anymore! They have a company contracted out to make there units for them! If I could give this company NO Stars I would! Stay Away!! There are a lot of fake reviews about this company! This company pays more money on advertisements than on customer service and quality. This company is a joke! I am warning you get your A/C repaired, installed, and inspected by another company you will regret it if you don’t! STAY AWAY!!

The AC in our house wasnt removing humidity causing normally cool temperatures to feel uncomfortable. They came out and identified a possible problem with a valve that wasnt installed correctly. Jared was able to fix it and get us back up and cooling. He told us if the problem returns to call them back and they will make it right. His customer service was very good, hopefully the part will do the same.

I am highly dissatisfied with the service I received throughout the course of being a Goettl guard dog service plan member. I paid for HVAC services last year, outside of the protection plan, to fill the refrigerant and to locate an apparently leak. Upon the service tech re-inspecting the unit, some time after the original maintenance (and only after I had to call to check up on when they would be coming back out, as promised), no leak was detected and I was told the unit was in great shape. Fast forward a few months later, a new tech came out and upon inspection claimed that my unit has serious issues. He also claims he located several leaks in the system, apparently not caught by the previous technician. So, either the previous tech (months ago) did an absolute poor job at detecting leaks or these leak(s) mysteriously formed over the last few months (my buddies in the ac field say thats not very likely). I personally do not feel that the previous techs were skilled enough at inspecting the unit, considering everything was in great shape months ago and now the unit has serious issues. Which is it? The previous techs seemed more interested in trying to find ways to charge me for extra services than actually inspecting or rejuvenating the unit. They spent very little time actually inspecting and working on the unit. There seems to be no to no consistency between techs here, even though the company promises (and promotes) they will send out only well qualified/certified techs to do the job. I am left to get a second opinion.Updated review: Removed a star, bringing my review down to one star, as the result of me being contacted by Goettl to tell me they would review the matter (as described above) only to never hear back from them.This company is not about sending a highly trained technician to your house to service your air conditioner (as advertised) but rather about sending a highly trained sales agent to your house to try to get you to buy a new air conditioning unit or additional service. Its very disappointing that they do not live up to what they advertise.

Prior to this service they missed 3 appointments, this time they missed my Saturday appointment from 4 to 7 they finally called me at 9 that they would come Sunday 12 to 3 got a call at 3 they could not make it, very bad service would not recommend to anyone. I’m in process of canceling my Sadie protection they offer and look for another professional ac company that’s loyal to their customers

Dont waste your time on them. I called Goettl to get a new ac unit estimate. When they told me the are stretched thin and only doing over the phone estimates that seemed really strange to me. I proceeded to schedule because we need to get a few estimates done. The window for them to call me for my over the phone estimate came and went. Not a peep. Its almost 24 hours later and still no word. Guess they didnt want my business.

We live in Gilbert and if I could give 10 stars I would! Our A/c stopped cooling today, I called at 5 am and we had someone speaking to us almost immediately, then I was promised a time frame of 4pm-7pm and was done and gone before 7. Then once I got the ETA call from Chris Gonzales. I knew we were in great hands. He was amazing!!!! Chris literally opened up one panel on our condenser, looked down and within seconds had figured out the problem! He was courteous, accommodating(even to my amount of questions), kind, and legitimately cared about what was going on with our A/c. He even brought flashlights and Sadie stuffys to our 3 kids! They are currently in bed sleeping with them. The whole team at Goettl that we dealt with was amazing! However Big HUGE shoutout to Chris! He will be the reason we will be lifetime customers of Goettl! Even signed up for the rejuvenation plan and will be requesting Chris for every appointment!! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Woke up this morning to find our house was 85 degrees and blowing warm air. Called Goettl at 6:15 am. My AC was fixed by 9:15am. With the forecast calling for 117 degree weather today this was such a relief. Every person I spoke to was super friendly and Aaron did a phenomenal job diagnosing and fixing the unit. I am very satisfied with the rapid response of Goettl for the malfunction of my Goettl HVAC. Their technician completed a timely and correct diagnosis that the condenser coil had developed a leak and required replacing. However it would take a week to acquire the coil. In the mean time they agreed to return and refill the refrigerant as needed pending the arrival of the coil.
