Great Place! Nice, friendly and helpful workers! Low prices on produce, meats, and chicken. Food City has low prices. But, other grocery stores have better prices too! I like going to this Food City! The parking lot needs repairs and the shopping center needs a facelift! Plenty of parking!

This location is both similar to other locations but each has a personality. One of a number of things to enjoy is the enjoyment shared between staff and shoppers. The store is large, clean, attractive and well stocked. Plenty of parking and shopping carts are maintained.

Best people! Very helpful, food was always fresh. Their tacos are insanely cheap! And their drinks are delicious! Their cashiers are amazing and very helpful. This is my to go to place for my groceries.

Hello this morning, time for another Food City review, the most challenging review to date. Apparently Food City (Bashas) has a no photograph policy. I found this out when a manager was called by an associate in the bakery and began questioning me about my phone in my hand. Not that this kind of behavior is disturbing to me however it did catch me unprepared for the verbally harassing introduction. Throughout our conversation the manager in question did not know how to handle the situation and throught discussing the womans concerns I was able to advise her of proper engagement with guest and to contact her senior staff for further instructions. My photos are real and what is online in Google maps for the store makes me question the photos for this store.Most photos look like the store was closed during the photo montage, I cant say for sure.Anyhow I ordered a buttered roll and got a toasted roll with margarine, oh well no biggie it seemed like when I handed my order and question you used fake butter on my order. I accepted it and went on my way. Thank you for the breakfast. As you can see I could not finish it due to the taste.By the way $1 a peice is a great price for Ticklebelly desserts give them a try, they look delicious.🍰🍭,🍫,🍪&🍦,🍋,🍓How about:☕,🍌,🍒,🥥????Im game...Enjoy!Thanks🙏

Meat dept was well stocked. Butchers were clean. Veggies were fresh and expertly stacked. This store stays busy and runs well. If I could ask for anything it would be new shopping carts.

This food city has by far the best bakery of all other stores around. The conchas are so amazing. Highly recommend a stop at their bakery

Produce has been hit and miss. Fried chicken in the hot food section tends to be dry later in the day. Video chatting with a friend one day as I walked through the store and was followed by a supervisor and demanded to stop recording in the store...had to show I was video chatting 🤬. Another time I stood behind someone at the hot food/bakery register that paid for non food items, I had 2 non food items and was told i had to go to the regular registers...hmmm.Most of the employees are nice people but there are a few Im suspect of

The prices for the meats are reasonable. The fruits and vegetables are great prices too. Theres 2 drawbacks that i have found. Do not buy the flour tortillas because they will be moldy within 24 hours and you have to be careful what youre buying because alot of stuff is more expensive than Frys and Walmart.

I can easily find what I need at this grocery. The staff are friendly and efficient. They just need to be more competitive in prices

No frills grocery store

The store seems to be enforcing the mask mandate, which is greatly appreciated. The aisles are clean and well maintained, plus there is little to no wait time at checkout. Overall a nice place to grocery shop especially if your looking for Hispanic foods or great prices on meats.

I had a flier for chicken I guess you can say 50/50 so instead of saying Ill can give you what I have left which the flier did say baked or fried so just said no more, I went to look for myself and and shes telling me 6.99$ for whats left. So I just left.....I could barely understand her english bad experience Ill think twice before going again.

If you are white they let you pay for your hot deli food at register. Anyone else must pay at hot food counter. Dealt with this way to many times here. Eddie Basha would be ashamed!

Food city on baseline has the best chorizo recipe of all the Food Citys I been to. Good chichirones. Good produce. They even have epazote. They always have beef cheeks do I can make barbacoa.

Food City is a local Arizona home based company. One of Bashas owned stores, it Mostly caters to racially, diverse minorities (depending on the areas it serves) inexpensive products compared to other supermarkets, but of Very LOW! Quality, (Especially the produce!) If your in the mood for Mexican food Most of Food City stores have a diner inside. (I only go when I miss my moms cooking?) Its Located in the S/E corner of Baseline Rd. & Hardy in a strip mall.

Love this place, have been shopping here since they opened and I recently discovered the salmon bites, talk about a game changer they are absolutely delicious. The attendants are always super friendly and of great assistance. Overall this my one stop shop and will definitely recommend and refer my friends to them.

I live less than a block from Food City, and I love shopping here. I really love the fresh produce that is usually cheaper than other grocery stores. I enjoy buying fresh store made tortillas to go with dinner or lunch. I have been happy to find that a lot of the Hispanic brands have little to no corn syrup or starch, so I can enjoy things like ice cream bars safely without triggering my allergy to corn. I feel lucky being in walking distance so if I need something for a recipe I can get it quickly. I do and will continue to go frequently.

This place is huge and has clothing food and the people are younger I mean places packs 24/7 and hes got a great crew or recommend anybody to go there.

The store was clean and not too crowded they acknowledged health, and kept a 6 ft apart rule for check out lines. They also had their employees wear face masks. Overall a good store and its safe to shop at! :)

The store is well organized and well-stocked. It has good prices for produce and these are tastier than those found in other stores. Meat prices are competitive. It has a very good selection of Latin American products, especially candy, bread, cookies, and beer. Cleaning supplies tend to be more expensive than those of competitors. The staff is friendly; but, they tend to be low of cashier staff.

I have to live a store that had a whole aisle dedicated to menudo! The prices here are a little cheaper than other grocery stores and you will find items there you just cannot get elsewhere. The service us great, too!

Fresh produce,excellent prices. Only dislike is a sometimes theyre loud speaker is super loud with music and announcements and their lines can be rather long,and forget about calling them,if you are not at the store,dont bother

I stopped in this location because it was close to my work after 4 p.m. this was the first time Ive ever been to this location Ive been to several others this location however was clean fully stocked easy to maneuver through the store locating everything I was looking for with absolutely no help very easily. I went in for sale items specifically they were fully stocked with everything on my list that was sale items, I was very happy, impressed and even though it was kind of out of my way a little on my route home I would do it again. Service at the cash register was terrific, the young lady had just started her shift and I mention it was packed but she kept her composure and rang everybody up in a timely manner. GOOD-JOB

I walked into the store and everything was clean. Meaning everything has its place and nothing was out of place. The workers was constantly bringing out fresh foods for people to buy. Some things sell out quick and the workers have to go find more to keep everything stocked. There was a good atmosphere, meaning everyone was willing to help each other no questions asked.

Found this one bigger than the other food cities. Fruits and vegetables are fresh most of the time. Cheaper when compared other places.They have fresh and good bakery items and fruit juice available in store.They have fewer billing counters open which leads to more waiting period during billing. Also many of the employees don’t speak English (near bakery most of the time) cause of which communication becomes challenging.

Food City is owned by Bashas so it is a locally owned. This Arizona food chain is tailored to Hispanic shoppers. This being said the produce is great, there is no organics, but the produce that organics are not as big a factor are great and cheap. (Onions, garlic, etc, low pesticide use)The dried herbs are about her reason to come here, oregano comes in huge bags for little money. Think Latin American herbs then expect to find them here in great quantity for low money.Looking for an ingredient or sauce that is unique to Latin American cuisine, your in luck stop by your local Food City.Meats; the meat is not high grade or organic, I would not make this my regular protein (unless on extreme budget) but if you are throwing a large party and need a lot of meat at a good price this is a great place to go. (Good for chicken, beef and pork. For fish; drive to Lee Lees in Chandler.)Over all this is not my main store; my dietary needs and refinements would not allow for that. Yet I frequent this store for extremely inexpensive supplemental items. I always leave happy, give it a try.

I dont go to Food City very often because it isnt convenient. When I go, though, I stock up on Hispanic staples like spices and chilies. Their produce prices are way better than the majority of chain grocery stores. But, if you go for nothing else, you must buy their flour tortillas. Seriously, theyre the best!

Best place for fruit and veggies and if you bottle your own water you must get it from here!
