Great place to get some breakfast kolaches and tasty donuts. Employees are so friendly!

Boyfriend and I went and bought 4 sausage cheese jalapeño kolaches which Actually turned out to be weenies in our kolache’s anyway they tasted fine however a few hours later we both got extremely sick we also bought a dozen glazed donuts which I am sure did not have to do with this problem because we didn’t even eat those So I’m seriously thinking that Kolaches we had possibly the weenies that were in there or whatever they wanna call that was bad because both of us got super sick and spent the entire afternoon throwing up with diarrhea

I really like the atmosphere there everyone is so nice and really polite. It is drive through only right now which is not bad. I do miss going in to talk with everyone though.

First I’m going to start with a location specific review. This location is one of the best I’ve been to. Most of the locations I’ve went to, and it’s been a lot, I don’t use the drive-thru because it’s either slower than just going in, or the drive-thru is just hard to get through with a big truck. However at this location the drive-thru is easy to get through and extremely fast. One thing I noticed is that instead of taking your order, ringing you up, then the one person going to get your order together. These guys have a great system, the cashiers tells another employee item by item what your ordering and if you have a large order, I’ve seen as many as three other employees getting stuff and have the order bagged and ready by the time the cashier finishes cashing you out. On top of that some locations don’t have stuff that others may. However this location has all of our favorites including the butterfly rolls. Definitely one of my favorite Shipley’s. Just wish it was open later.I love Shipley’s as a whole. I grew up in SC and thought Kristen Kreme was the best you could get. When I met my wife I was buying Krispy Kreme from Walmart or whatever and argued when she said Shipley’s were better. I had never tried Shipley’s but just thought I knew what I was talking about. However when she convinced me to go to a Shipley’s I discovered how wrong I was. Now don’t get me wrong Krispy Kreme are good, if you get to go to one of their locations and watch them being made and get some fresh. However Shipley’s is far superior. Even superior to getting the fresh Krispy Kreme. Nothing will replace the memories I have growing up with my parents taking me to Krispy Kreme and watching the machines make the donuts. However my kids will grow up with memories of stopping by a Shipley’s for not only the best tasting but also the best variety.While I will say gladly they have the best donuts I’ve ever had and my favorite is their butterfly rolls, which are fancy cinnamon rolls. I would like to see some of the locations would be open a little later. I’m not just a donut for breakfast type. Sometimes I’m heading home in the afternoon and see a Shipley’s and think “I would love a donut or butterfly roll”. However will have to wait till tomorrow at which point the craving may be gone. Lol.

Good there is great. But i dont agree with the employees unprofessional attitudes towards each other.

Plain glazed were oily, and the other half order was incorrect. Service was congenial and quick.

Always friendly and fast, we dont go out for kolaches often, but when we do, we go here!

What a bunch of awesome folks. During the super bad ice storm we had. They brought there family in even though the roads were sheets of ice to serv and help the community when no one had power.Thank you, may your family be blessed...

I’m usually not one for Shipleys Kolaches just due to the fact that they’re usually really dry and don’t have a lot of cheese in them. However, this was my first time to this location and I got to say that my experience with Shipleys today was top notch! The cashier behind the counter was extremely attentive and sweet. The kolache’s I got today were some of the best Kolaches I’ve ever had! Will be back to this location for sure.

I couldnt wait to but cake donuts with chicolate icing. As luck had it i could buy a dozen but disappointed theyve changed the recipe its not the same.My husband enjoyed the ones hegot. But overall ok

Meh, its donuts, not rocket science. Took my payment and then informed me they did not have the items I ordered. Offered a substitution, but not a refund. So I waited for the next batch. After the promised amount of wait time they failed to give me my food item or a refund. Only when I get ready to pitch a fit, do I receive the items. Should have never taken my money if they could not fulfill the order. Took my money with a smile, should give it back with a smile

Shipley is usually always good, but when I went there today I was told that they dont have ham and cheese kolaches because of Covid 19 causing ham shortages. Funny to me that Buckees has no problem with ham shortages. I love Buckees ham and cheese kolaches, more meat and cheese than Shipley.

Best donuts always fresh melt in your mouth.

Ordered my donuts to get them delivered, some donuts were old, not freshly made. Disappointed...

Always loved Shipleys, however seems like the prices have been going up over the years. I remember Shipleys being one of those breakfast places where your money would go a long way. Now feeding 3 adults every Sunday costs me just over $20! 4 stars because I still think they have the best Donuts around

The food is delicious! However, the girl at the drive thru window was cursing up a storm, yelling loud enough that I could hear her from my car. Was not a pleasant customer service experience. Highly recommend for food quality, but no recommendation for quality customer service.

I have work for Miss Trish, the owner for 10 years. She has always been very nice and willing to help me any way she can. Trish has always been fair with lots of understanding to her Employees and Costumers and has always help her family. Trying to help everyone she can. She takes pride in running a very clean store. Plus I love the smell of her daily fresh do-nuts.

7 people in front of me, didnt even wait 5 minutes and my food was ready when I got up there. These guys are killing it today!!!

Donuts and kolaches ok. I like the frozen coffee best and will continue to return to try the different flavors.

Very poor customer service and rude owner. I was getting an order of a dozen mixed donuts for me and my daughters and we dont eat the chocolate donuts so I nicely asked if they could be changed out for 2 other donuts. Which would of took all of 2 seconds to switch out. The owner was very rude and said I should of came inside if I wanted to pick my flavors. This has never happened at a donut place in a drive through window where they get mad just because you are choosing your flavor of donuts. I WiLL NEVER GO BACK!!

None of the employees are wearing masks and all are working in close proximity while some are preparing food. This goes against recommendations by the CDC, WHO, and the FDA.If you cant abide by basic disease preventative measures I cant trust that any other sanitary practices are being followed.

Rude staff desperately in need of proper customer service training and basic manners. Disgraceful.

This is literally the ONLY Shipley Donuts I will ever go to. The manager, Stephanie, her daughters, Jessica and Kayla and another employee, Brandi are the sweetest people. They greet you everytime with smiles and respect making you feel so welcomed. We love yall!!

Hor, fresh donuts and kolaches. Yes, this is a pretty big chain, but every store, including this one, feels family run. Prices are good and service is pretty fast even during rush hours. Just wish the coffee were better.

We have been going here for a few years now and our kids love it! However, we got HORRIBLE attitude from the older lady with glasses and long blonde hair this morning. It was very obvious we inconvenienced her to stop what she was doing to take our order. She just looked at us without saying anything while we told her what we wanted. Then she just told us the what we owed with an obvious tone in her voice that was anything but welcoming. We have never received attitude like that from any other employee at any time. We will continue to go there because we enjoy the food.

I drive to the store over by Sams club. They have the best donuts. The ones off Adams tastes like they are cooked in old used cooking oil.

Love stopping here on my way to work. Staff is always friendly and fast. Food, coffee, and donuts are always good. My favorite is the Kona Mocha drink and sausage,cheese, and jalapeno kolaches

Good service and doughnuts are good as well. But please Shipley’s, make a menu specifically for each store on your website. Apparently the downloadable menu shows items that some stores don’t carry.

Excellent staff! $18 for a dozen small, overly cooked kolaches with very little cheese. . $8+ a dozen for doughnuts. Higher prices, lower quality since our visits since opening.

Just came from there, Sat.March 2nd, 2019I will never, ever return.I was standing in line, waiting to order, when a prior customer, drive thru I think, returned stating he received the wrong kolaches.The staff member, young kid, took them... I couldnt see with whom he spoke with next, but I did see him then empty the bag back into the bin with the other kolaches... WTF.When I asked him if he did indeed dump the returned kolaches back into the bin to be resold, he said yes and that the had asked one of the girls and she told him to.Thats just absolutely disgusting...

Donuts tasted old. Staff needs to learn how to smile and say thank you to their customers.

I ordered Shipley’s Donuts on Waitr, and they gave me a chocolate milk that is four days old today.

Sweet donuts and coffee, so many choices of donuts! Got to go back and try their hot chocolate.

I have a free kolache coupon w/purchase of same & limit of 3 kolaches free ..I had asked for 6 kolaches making my order 9 kolaches total (with coupon) & i was denied that order & was told that i HAVE to order 3 or 9 kolaches for them to take my coupon. I called another Temple Shipleys location & they will honor the request of coupon & also told me that this location is known to not honor most of the coupons that come out. I do not recommend this location at all if anyone is trying to use any coupons.

No apple fritters. Asked for one they gave me a cold apple pie filling. All other locations have real apples and this location trys to give you gross filling and the donut is not made the same or look the same.

All Shipleys are like happy families, they are happy in the same way.
