A good place to get Mediterranean items for cooking. They sell good meat including goat/mutton.

Wonderful selection of herbs, spices, meats and much. Superior service. Found both Rose Water and Orange Blossom Water, large bag of extra long grain parboiled basmati rice (great for diabetics) all at excellent prices here. We ordered #6 from their kitchen and it was deliciously seasoned, fresh, large cubed chicken breast served over a generous bed of extra long grain rice, roasted tomato with 1/2 a fresh lemon and sumac to sprinkle on if desired. One order filled up 2 hungry adults. We will be back.

My son bought me frozen green beans, today at 12 pm and i opened it in half in hours and i was shocked, this beans is super old and even discoloration to orengesh yellow, with frozen ice around ech been. I looked at the plastic to see if is any expiration on it,, Not AT All.So i call the store someone pick up the phone and i explain the issues and he stoped me and said Im a cashier,,he refuse to get my number and give it to the owner and keep telling me come to store tomorrow, are you kidding me?It doesnt matter if you are the owner or cashier, when you answer the phone, you are responsible for customer service.

I got ground meat from them yesterday . It smelled so badIt was 4 lbs I had to throw it away. I called to let them know. The person who picked the phone said they still have ground meat from yesterdayBut it is fine. Looks goodPlease be careful when buying meat from them.

The best and most delicious place ever

Diar has a good variety of middle eastern foodstuffs, including pita, sangak and other flatbreads. They carry packaged foods, such as olives, pickles, tahini and legumes, and also spices, rice, cheeses, yogurts and meats. They also have a kitchen next door that prepares hot meals. Their prices are competitive and its very convenient. I recommend a visit.

This place was awesome saucy with a side if fantastic. Food was incredible and portions are very large. Its kinda of a hole in the wall but my heavens food was great!! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some awesome filling Persian food. Only one table so maybe better for take out.

I have been going to Diar Market for many years and the quality of the produce is what sets them apart. Their produce is brought in every week and so you know you will have fresh produce. Their prices are extremely reasonable and their customer service is genuine. Adjacent to the market is Diar Kitchen which has the best Persian cuisine. Me drive 30 minutes from the San Fernando valley just to purchase their delicious food. They also use the best quality meats. Highly recommend!

Good place for Mediterranean and Persian foods. There is a take out and catering place with a good variety of choices. This establishment is called Diar Kitchen. If I did not have plans for dinner that night, I would have picked something up. I plan to go back soon.

UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP. The previous owners did treat us like family--but theyre gone and a new group has taken over. Not a lot has changed--aside from no one knowing us as customers for 15-20 years and the prices have all seemed to have gone WAY up. We miss our old Diar and sadly dont shop there as much as we used to.
