I had a great experience at this Auto Zone. Cory not only helped me find the correct tail light bulb and wiper for my Jeep, but he helped me install them so I wouldn’t get pulled over. I appreciate the above and beyond effort and I will definitely recommend this store to anyone.

Completely unhelpful staff. If the only answer you want to get is... I dont know. I dont know. I dont know. This is your place. Advance auto at least went out of there way to look into my question and find me a solution. I wont return to AutoZone again.

Unlike other stores, AutoZone will install and recycle the dead core when you purchase a new can battery. Manager Cory swapped them out in mere minutes. He and his crew are friendly, knowledgeable and professional and I strongly recommend them and this store.

Worst experience ever buying a battery after having to return the wrong battery looked up and given to me by Auto zone . The attitude for sale associate was terrible . Unbelievable service by Mike . So bad I took my business elsewhere .

Wow - awesome service at this Autozone location! My car almost did not start after work and I suspected the battery. I chose Autozone because I knew they have free battery testing and installation. The testing showed my battery was dead. They installed a new battery in about 5 minutes and I was outta there. My entire visit took only around 15 minutes, maybe less. Thank you very much!

Absolutely indecent people. I walk in and I’m the only person there and everyone gives me straight attitude from the moment I walk in to the moment I leave. Just moved here and very disappointed I don’t have my Autozone like back in portage Michigan

My wife and her friend were in Traverse City from Ft Wayne on a winery trip. Saturday morning 10/10/20 they woke up and the battery was dead. They got a jump, and I told them to go to Autozone, they would install a battery for them. Chris Jennings is the store manager, and was not there, but Greg and another girl were. They told my wife they had a battery, but could not install it until 3:30pm due to staffing. This was at 9:30AM...and only ONE customer in the store, so apparently, it takes two people working at Autozone to install a battery. I would understand if they were busy, but they werent. They suggest that they go next door to Precision Tune. The shop tells my wife they need a battery, so the shop calls Autozone next door to order a battery. My wife and her friend are told they have to wait for it to be delivered. After waiting for 15-20 minutes for the battery to be delivered, my wife WALKS to the Autozone next door, that they were just at, picked up the battery herself and walks it back across the parking lot to the shop. Greg and his coworker had 0 customers in the store, so I am not sure what they were waiting on to walk it next door. NEVER will I shop at Autozone again. A battery takes 10 minutes to install, but since they are apparently too lazy to help a customer, they dont need my money going forward. Rating would be lower if possible.

Swung through for a battery. No wait at all. Got a guy who grabbed what I needed and offered to install it even though his shift was up. No problems at all, and a very fair price. Very pleased.

They have some stuff but lack the knowledgeable staff, 2 of the other parts stores have. Thirlby And Arts are where its at if you need help. And those 2 usually have it in stock.AutoZone would not be that bad if they stocked more parts, and had helpful knowledgeable staff, who were not just cashiers.

They were able to help me find the headlight I needed but when I asked if he could take a look at putting it in, (I’ve had it replaced by auto zone employees the last 2 times) he brought out a socket wrench with one size, said it didn’t fit and that he couldn’t help me. Disappointing as AutoZone is my go-to because they have historically helped me with small things like a headlight replacement.

GREAT customer service! Jeremy F tested my battery and we found out it was dead. I bought a new one, but he wasnt allowed to install it because it is located under the back seat (some king of liability thing). He carried my new battery out to my car then went to his car to get his personal tool kit so I could swap it out myself without having to drive home for tools and bring my old battery back for the core exchange. A+++ service. Thanks Jeremy!

I have a 2007 Mercury Milan and when I went to use my turn signal last night a digital reading appeared telling me to check my LR blinker. When I determined that it was definitely not working, I looked up where to buy the part and went to Auto Zone on Garfield Rd. The gentleman who took care of me looked up the part and then rang it up for me. Then he asked if I needed help to install it. I couldnt believe it and asked if there was a charge, to which he replied, No. Seriously, I was overjoyed as I thought I was going to have to rely on You Tube and if I was unsuccessful, I would have to recruit one of my brother-in-laws to help me.This wonderful man was able to access the light without having to dismantle the entire trunk and in minutes I had a working blinker again. It was like Christmas in October for me!! 😀I cannot say enough about the kindness and professionalism I received at Auto Zone in Traverse City. I highly recommend this establishment and will be telling all my friends and family about my fabulous experience there.Thank you so much for helping me and making my car safe again!!!

Store is neat and tidy, decently organized.Staff gets overwhelmed easily.I was left waiting at the counter while several phone calls were answered first.

I needed a flywheel puller, and the store is only open to 8PM. I called them and they let me come after hours to pick up the tool. The tool is excellent quality with a lifetime warranty and had a great price.I have bought many parts from this location; everything from alternators to brake pads, and customer service has always been outstanding.

Friendly staff but they seemed to be out of everything I needed. I was here on two different days looking for two different items and they were out of both. I ended up at the other Traverse City store which had both items in stock both times. Not sure if this store is just smaller so they stock a smaller quantity but for the future, I will just go to the other store first.

Excellent when you need a quick part immediately, but if you can wait 3 days eBay sells same parts for 1/3 of price.

They were super friendly and nice! Helped me pick out a new battery and helped me install it to. The whole process was less then 30 mins.

Used a card only to find there wasnt enough money on there to make the purchase so used cash. Was told our $$ would be back on our card in 7-10 business days. Were at the 2 week mark & still nothing. As far as Im concerned, they stole my money. Worthless company! Wont be back!

Its ok but need some improvement in the store especially in windshields wipers, you have to get one part and another from different package because there is not availability of that size plus its noticeable confusion with that, so needs to adjustment in that field !

What a disappointment and poor shopping experience I had with this store in Traverse City, MI. I made a purchase and needed one more of the same item. The store employee stated that it would be in the store within two days. I called to make sure it was there as I had over 25 miles to get to this location from where I live. The person on the phone stated that he was putting it on the shelf as we spoke. I went to the store and guess what--not on the shelf and not even ordered. I was lied to and will not forgive them. I will return the items that I did purchase and will never shop there again as there are many other auto stores to shop. What a disappointment and lied to as well.
