They are fair, they keep in contact, they do good work. What more could you ask?

Great people they go the extra mile for you. As a woman I feel confident in the work they do. They do a great job for me and not charge me a fortune. They are honest and up front and tell me like it is. They will also make recommendations to help you make major decisions if you want them to. As a woman Ive been taken advantage of and was told I needed things that I didnt need. Im talking in the hundreds to thousand. Never had that with D&W. Wayne is very knowledgeable and you would be surprised at how much Kim knows. She is Waynes wife and she does all the office work. What a team of employees they have.

We were visiting Traverse City for a couple of days, having brought a vehicle back from Beaver Island after selling our property there. We discovered that the car was ... needier ... than expected after years on the island. The transmission was slipping, and the front end was so loosie-goosie that we did not trust it for the 300 mile drive home. Knowing nothing about Traverse City businesses, we called D&W based on Google reviews. They were beyond helpful. On my initial phone call, I was told, Lets not assume there is anything major wrong with the transmission. Let me look at it first. They worked me into an already-busy schedule, even working late into the evening to help us out. They determined the transmission just needed fresh fluids, and it has been working perfectly ever since. They also replaced several parts in the front end at a VERY reasonable price, and after getting it aligned, it drives great. I am so grateful for their help, and for accommodating our time needs. I highly recommend this shop.

Wayne and Kim Moody are wonderful and they really take pride in their work and they have great employees as well they definitely know what theyre doing ☺️ if I could give 10 stars I would and I recommend them to everyone

Good work and honest fair prices

Wayne and crew have always done outstanding work. He has been my go to mechanic for over 20 years and I would highly recommend him to anyone in the area. They are very busy, but they go to great lengths to accommodate various situations. We were back home to TC from VA and had an issue with the front end. They took care of us even though it was a last minute repair. I can’t say thank you enough for their continued honesty, professionalism and expert mechanical abilities! Continue to promote their services highly!

Open late which is great for me.

This is by far the best most honest, well run auto repair shop I have ever encountered. The entire staff is Super Helpful, Honest, Honest,Honest . I cant say enough good things. Also their prices are extremely fair. They (Ben) diagnosed and repaired my transmission for far less than I thought it would be! Thanks Again, will always come back to this place.

Can I give them 6 stars? Quite possibly the best auto repair shop around. They do excellent, honest work and it doesnt cost a fortune. Yes, every shop has their standard labor rate, but the best part about Wayne and Kim is they dont try and get you to replace stuff you dont need.I went in with a laundry list of things that needed to be done from another shops inspection. Ben at D&W looked over my vehicle, found only a fraction of the repairs were really needed. Saved me a ton of money! One of the needed repairs were front brakes. I was told the rotors were rusty and needed to be replaced. I had just replaced the pads last year and Ben took a look and determined the rotors were decent, still lots of life left in the pads, no need for replacing.Theres nothing not to like about these people. Always my go-to for repairs. You might have to wait to get in, though. Thats what happens when you take care of your customers, plenty of referred/return business.

My wife and I found ourselves stranded in Traverse City late on a Friday afternoon with a dead alternator and no chance to drive home. We searched for car repair and D&W was only a mile and a half away. We parked our truck in the lot and dropped our key in the door slot, hoping for the best. We are happy to report that Wayne and his team had our truck fixed when they said it would be and charged a fair price for the work. Thanks for the great service.
