Drove all the way here from Cadillac(got here at 5:15) to get my birthday gift and they closed at 5pm. We can’t even get here before 5pm with work.

I think her name was Bree she had spirited away tattoos and so does her sister and she was running the store today like nobody’s business. She was so nice, super helpful and on top of everything! Promote👏This👏Woman👏

Closed an hour early. Guess Im going to Walmart for my winter jacket. Missed opportunity.

I went to this sephora today and me and my friend were profiled. Me and my friend were looking around the store at the different skin care products and we quickly realized that every isle we would enter the worker was following us into. We both left due to how uncomfortable we both were and after about 15 minutes we decided to go back and continue shopping at the sephora, she did the exact same thing and this time we recorded it she approached us and asked if we were doing okay, I said yes and asked her why she is following us and before she could even answer jcpenney security was standing in sephora. She literally called security for no reason. The woman asked where the eyeliner is. like girl you were following us the WHOLE time. When do you think i would have gotten the time to steal your overly priced eyeliner... i asked her what eyeliner and she didn’t reply and then she didn’t say anything about the eyeliner i “stole” at all after that... So she just threw in some random lie about shoplifting eyeliner. She also said that we cause trouble in the store. Us shopping is causing trouble??? No. We were kicked out of the store and informed that we are banned from sephora. Me and my friend have came to the conclusion that this was caused by our appearances

The staff is amazing and they are very informative, and they were able to help me find a foundation perfect for my skin! And what kind of face wash and products. I should use

PAIGE at Traverse City store is amazing!!!So knowledgeable, helpful and patient with me. I won’t go anywhere else.

I stopped by Sephora on a walk-in basis and the staff made me feel welcome. Also, they found time to fit me in and the stylist (I think her name was Lori?) did a great job. It was rejuvenating~kudos!

Katie the manager is the most knowledgeable and experienced person I have met in the beauty retail community always goes above and beyond the expectations held for her position my favorite place to shop for makeup and skin care products.

I’ve been an Ulta customer now for awhile, but today while at the mall I stopped into Sephora in JC Penney, honestly I was hesitant.. as most of the staff at ulta are so stuck up. I was pleasantly surprised that the staff today in Sephora were the perfect amount of helpful, not all in your face trying to hard sell you but more than happy to help and answer any questions if and when you have them. I’d asked the girl about what color of concealer she thought would be good for my skin tone, she walked me over to where natural light was coming through and actually applied different ones on my hand and face and gave her personal opinion and professional advice. It was a fun, relaxed environment and they had a shelf full of name brand clearance items. I saved more than I spent! Keep up the good work ladies.

Love the store and I know I will visit each week. Sales people were attentive knowledgable and caring. I am agoraphobic and going in a store is never done but They had my Swamp Family pallet and cared enough to save me one so I could just go in and get it and walk out. The girl was very protective of my space and make sure no one stayed right behind me while I was paying. But just walking to the checkout line was comfortable to me and that is rare. THANK YOU SEPHORA for being in JCPenny. I could never have driven to Grand Rapids to buy the pallet.

The workers are super nice, but this “store” is so small, and they never have the products I’m looking for. It’s so annoying! We need a full size Sephora (or Ulta!) in Traverse City. Ugh!!!

Awful experiences. Staff wasnt knowledgeable or helpful. And VERY immature. Ulta will get my business otherwise maybe Sephora online. But the JCP Sephora is a joke.

Couldnt find anything. All the shoes were mixed up all over the place and not one employee asked if I needed help.
