This store is phenomenal ‼️‼️ It has everything edible, drinkable, and wearable related to CHERRIES 🍒 candy, syrups, wine you name it they have it. And the staff are so customer friendly. Hannah helped me find all sorts of presents for grandkids and friends she was super nice. Meanwhile my husband spent time at the cherry wine tasting bar. Great place in the cherry capital.

Definitely a must visit if you are in Traverse City. Great wine, lot of free snacks to try out and buy and overall a great ambience. I would recommend you to test their wines. Cherry adore was my favorite! Would go here again in a heartbeat.

This place was INCREDIBLE. So glad we stoppedJust passing through Traverse City on our way back south on vacation and decided to walk the business district. Hit some jewelry stores, a couple boutiques and were heading back to the car parked down by the beach. Walked past Cherry Republic and something drew us in. First it looks great. Then, the timing was right. Wanted to hit just one more spot before heading out.Walked in the door and were instantly blown away. Everything Cherry that you could imagine. Wine, candy, preserves, salsa, BBQ sauce, and I cant even remember everything they had. We were amazed. Ended up spending over an hour and $100 and loved every minute of it.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.....If youre in Traverse City and you like cherries (who doesnt) take a minute to step in here. Youll be glad you did.

We did some wine tasting and it was so difficult for us to choose which bottles to get because they were all so good. They have so many different foods, drinks, candies, dips, etc to choose from. We wanted to walk out of there with everything. Definitely a shop to go to before you leave TC.

I love Cherry Republic. The only thing I don’t like is people buying wine bottle from the bar. That makes the bar service slow.

Cherry EVERYTHING! Cherry wine, salt, BBQ sauce, jam, coffee, salsa, candies and sodas! They also have a public restrooms if you find yourself in need while shopping downtown TC.If you’re reading this, yes, you should pay $9 for a bag of chocolate covered cherries!Great staff and samples of their salsas and sauces served with chips.

Who would have thought this many cherry products could exist! From sweets to beer to wine and beyond. Sure, the products can be expensive like those school fundraiser catalogs the kids being home but it’s quality stuff that you normally couldn’t find at most grocery stores.The one item that has grown a cult following in our house is the Cherry Chocolate BOOM coffee. Our mornings now start even better because of this. Even happier they deliver since we don’t live in MI. Go get yourself some BOOM!!

Place has changed since COVID. No wine or food samples. Not sure if they even sell food anymore. Just doesn’t have the life it once did. I stopped in and bought my chocolate covered cherries which I alway enjoy.

When in Traverse City, Cherry Republic is a must! Everything is delicious... Where do I start? The ice cream is delicious, the candy/gummy bear/sour cherry is delicious, the jam is delicious and on and on, and on.

Best place ever!!! Plenty of samples of everything. If you dont like cherry flavor stuff. Tough come in and try this stuff!!!! Chocolate covered raisins and cherries. Cherry flavor salsa. Yummmmmm. What a cool place for snacks at home or parties. Love coming here. We have even ordered online!

Cherry Republic holds a special place in my heart. Ive been visiting Traverse City and this store since I was a young girl. And their products just keep getting better. Im in love with their hot salsa and all of their jams. Ooo and the cherry sours are the absolute best! I could peruse this store for hours, meanwhile sampling all of their goodies at the many sampling carts located around the store.

Have been a fan of Cherry Republic for many, many, many years - costing the shops up north and buying gift boxes every Christmas but the behavior of the employees last summer causes me to never go again. They were so rude about the masks, telling my daughter that she had to put a mask on her two year old and telling me if I didnt pull it over my nose, I had to leave. So we did and dont care to go back.

My wife and I have visited various other Cherry Republic locations in Michigan, but nothing compares to their Traverse City store.This particular location offers a wide variety of items available for any cherry lover.It’s also worth noting that this store is well laid out and quite visually appealing.Cherry Republic- Traverse City is a “must stop” for any visitor in the downtown core.

We have had nothing be amazing service from Cherry Republic. We have made it a family event to visit as many as we can. So far we have seen Frankenmuth, Ann Arbor, Glenn Arbor, Traverse City. On our way to Charlevoix now.

They have wine of course and chocolate and and a nice mixture of gifts. The dark chocolate cherries were fantastic. The guy who was there was very helpful and super friendly.

Great shop for all things cherry. Their cherry turtles are amazing. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. They even allowed our husky inside. A must stop when in Traverse city.

So good! I love all the quirky cherry jokes that they do. I love the addition of the restaurant as well. The food is great and tasty! I have always been a fan of their products as well. It can be a but expensive for certain things but that does come with the territory. Go in and try everything you can because it is always changing and delicious!

My daughter and I visited Cherry Republic a week ago. I have always loved this store. I was so happy to see the COVID safety precautions in place.Poster on the front door saying masks required and proper way to wear them. Greeter at a table as soon as you enter providing hand sanitizer. Clear spacing in store and in checkout lines.Thanks Cherry Republic for making the effort to keep us all safe.

Traverse City has really gone downhill the last couple years and Cherry Republic is no exception. We went to the Cherry Fest in 2019 and the store staff was not as friendly as they had been in the past. We visited Traverse City again this weekend having been up north for a camping trip (the only vacation we could squeeze in amid the COVID pandemic). God forbid I slid my face mask down to sniff some cherry soap they had in their store and immediately a clerk pounced on me Maam, pull your face mask up!. It seemed her only job was to walk through the store and yell (not kindly remind but to shout loudly at customers) to pull their face masks up as I watched her do this to several others. I pulled mine below my nose for a moment after about 20 minutes in the store as I was having difficulty breathing and she again pounced. I advised her I was having difficulty breathing and per ADA guidelines retail establishments should not discriminate on this as they could get into some muddy water. She did not care. We decided to check out quickly and leave the store. Upon checkout, the male clerk thoroughly inspected my husbands mask which he deemed to be too low on his nose. He promptly ordered my husband to pull his mask up. My husband said, Look, can you just check us out so we can be on our way?. No, no...they would prefer to get into an altercation with you regarding proper donning of PPE. I understand this is your policy but lets go with informing and and enforcing, maybe. This virus escaped from a level 4 virology lab, I hardly think my tissue thin disposable mask is going to make that big of a difference people. Seriously. After these experiences I will not be back to Traverse City and probably not any location of Cherry Republic.

1st time visit here & wasnt satisfied with their salsa I purchased. However, I returned the next day & asked if there was anything theh could do...& right away the lady that helped said sure, choose another. She even offered a sample of the other choices...helped me pick the right one. My friend also had some issues with a salsa she bought but had forgotten at home & they still honored her request & gave her a new bottle. Just awesome customer service! The cherry wine & sangria were delicious! The cherry crumb pie was also 😋. Just FYI on the salsas...they run pretty mild. Great little shop & a great town. Definitely visiting again! 🤗😆

Our shopping this year was very disappointing. The person who rang up our purchases had no customer service skills at all. I had purchased gifts for 5 people of two jars each and instead of boxing them up as I asked him to do, he wrapped them in brown paper and put some boxes in a separate bag. No paper for in the boxes and now I’m at home wrapping and the items don’t even fit in the boxes. In years past I have left the store with everything boxed nicely, even with a sprig of greenery in the box. I could see that the other cashiers were doing that but the guy that helped? us didn’t. It wasn’t that the store was too busy, just very poor service.

Super cool place for a cherry lover. bought a bunch of stuff to take to college with me. was missing one item i bought yesterday without realizing it but when i called back today they took my shipping information to send it all the way home to me! had a tough time getting on the phone but when i finally did the girl i spoke with was super sweet and helpful!

Quaint specialty shop where everything is a little cherry! Anything you can add cherries to they have thought of it. We came home with some cherry chocolate turtles, cherry wine, cherry hot sauce, cherry chocolate pretzels and some other things. A little pricey but unique stuff for sure!

Love Cherry Republic! Great place to buy gifts for out-of-towners. I got my boss a little gift basket for Christmas last year! My dad, Tim, works in the wine department and he’s very passionate about customer service and wine (of course). I suspect another comment is about him, regarding masks, and I don’t appreciate someone calling him a “jackass.” Totally unnecessary to call someone that, calling anyone that. Even if the review was not about my dad, that’s just an employee following store policy. Anyways, great place!

I love tart cherries. I like the idea of the store. Unfortunately they didnt have what I was truly looking for, which was plain dried tart cherries. Everything had sugar. So disappointed. One preserve was sweetened with grape juice which I got. The sales woman kept saying it is the sweet taste comes from the cherries which ofcourse wasnt true. I love the tart taste of the cherries, so I wish they would offer that choice. The items overall were interesting eventhough it was a bit pricey

This place was awesome! Visited with family this past weekend (June 23 2017). We went for lunch and it was perfect. The food was delicious and fast. They have a pop machine with all in house mixed flavors (highly recommend the black cherry cream soda). We then stopped to check out all the goodies to buy before we left. They have a huge selection and lots of free samples so you can know what you are getting. Candies, jams, salsa, wine, honey and lots more!

It was very nice, clean and tidy, with a lot of variety. Staff was very nice and helpful. Will definitely go back and will recommend.

It’s a very small place. Wine samples are extremely tiny, can barely get a good taste. The food there is lack luster. The art exhibits are amazing and the collection of cherry products was great. Overall I only recommend this place for a quick stop. But I wouldn’t plan to spend a day here.

Super fun place to try and purchase all things cherry. They have a wine tasting and soda/pop tasting bar. Lots of free samples out all over the store. You can even order food there for lunch or dinner. Lots of fun exploring the different cherry products. The salsa is delicious.

Awesome place to visit when in town. The samples are plentiful. Prices a bit high though there is a reason they have quality items. Found several items cheaper in store than online. I bought a few things to send home for my family to enjoy Northern Michigan from a far.

Excellent place to find, sample and purchase cherry and cherry-based products. Has a small sandwich counter and wine-tasting bar as well. Very addictive products - cant get enough. Favorites include dark chocolate-covered cherries, salsas, jams and jellies.

Awesome staff. Store is absolutely beautiful. There are samples available of everything the store sells. The cherry sangria is great! They also have free wine tasting. There are some very unique things in the gift shop and all made with cherries. I actually hate cherries but there are some really good things here!

They have shifted the kids area to a contained room in the corner. It is so much easier to watch your kids and be able to shop the store. Good job!
