My first time here and overall this seemed like a pretty decent comic book store. It had plenty of options to look through and had some pretty cool gems on display. You could spend a lot of time in there without regret.I give this place a lower score because the entire time I was in there I wasn’t asked once if I needed assistance or even given a friendly “Hello” at any point by anyone. I was in there for at least 40-45 mins and it wasn’t busy at all at this time(A good chunk of the time I was checking out the display case). I am ok with a store letting me do my own thing, but a hello would probably be nice. I would like to believe this was a unique situation and isn’t a normal operation of behavior.I will come back as I did want to return for a couple of items that I had seen on display, so staying hopeful for now.

I like this store. The kids corner is a little sad. I wish it was more noticeable than just being in the corner.

Hard spot to find, difficult to get to as traffic is nuts. Staff was friendly and helpful. Unable or unwilling to deal on books but decent selection and well organized.

Was in and out in SECONDS. He knew what i wanted and was very straight-forward. 100 percent going again.

Pretty cool store, lots of back stock with an older issue section. Found some issues I needed, no where else seemed to have. All their new issues had bags which was nice. Decent section of statues as well, my wife found a Wolverine statue for my birthday. Ill be returning when in town.

Amazing collection of comics. They even have the first copy of the Justice League USA!

I love this place

Small and doesnt have an up beat feel for me, but my son loved it and said that it was awesome. It seems like a trendy off scene kind of obscure place that hipster comic people would love. The Speak easy feel made me feel like I could get special attention if I knew the right command... That made my son excited.

Nice clean shop. Super impressed that they have Gi Joe #1 and #21.

I have being going here for years and it is by far the best comic book store I have ever been to. Doug and Mike are always very helpful. They almost always have what i am looking for. When they dont have what Im looking for they are always willing to find it. I would recommend this store to everyone.

I was visiting Traverse City and came across Tops Comics. I am a collector and visit several comic cons during the year. This is a truly outstanding comic book store – one of the bests. I highly recommend it because the store has a truly outstanding selection of back issues and modern issues of comics. The staff was knowledgeable about comics and their history. They were also very helpful and friendly. I felt I was really well taken care of. If I am ever back in the area, Tops Comics is definitely one of the places I will visit again.

This is easily the best comic book store I’ve ever been to! Friendly staff, great selection, awesome collectibles, and on free comic book day last year they gave out a free comic! It is such a great environment and such a great place!

Exactly what you want from a local comic book store. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. The goods are fairly priced, and they had a really fun event for Free Comic Book Day (First Saturday in May) that brought a ton of people in. Really great, cant wait to go back!

Great little comic shop in Traverse. We usually go up to Traverse at least once a year and we always make a point to stop in. The staff is super friendly and helpful!

Ive been going there for over a decade. The owners are great. They have new stuff, old stuff, some apparel and toys (packaged and loose). Parking isnt a good situation depending on the day, but park in the back.

What a great place! They have one of the best selection of current and old comics. If you are looking for an old silver or golden age comic they probably have it.

Down to earth, willing to help to make sure u get the right comic for u.

Bought two comics, just an excellent selection, the staff was nice, and I enjoyed the comics I bought. though I was a little put off by the type of bag they used, I was expecting a plastic bag, but it was paper. Its not a big issue at all but that sure as hell wont keep me from returning to see the store and staff. :)
