First time at this place. My friend and I where here about a week ago with our toddlers. Not the best experience especially since it was our first time. The staff was rude except and older lady. Seemed like they weren’t in the mood to be there. We where rushed through the whole thing. Staff didn’t seem kid friendly. You would think they would have a better attitude since most of the parents take their kids to build a bear. I was trying to do a recording for the bear since it was a gift to Dad, store was noisy since everyone was talking obviously and music was so loud. I asked the girl helping me if there was anything I can do to get a better recording since it was so noisy in the store but all I got back was “try your best”. I actually had to leave to the restroom to get it done. Long story short I don’t think I will be going back.

Employees dont listen and most are rude. The sound inside one of the bears quit working 4 hours later. The sound inside the other animal quit after 2 weeks. For the cost of these stuffed animals it was a super disappointing visit.

Made a bear years ago for myself and loved the experience. Thought id take my boys to make their first, but my husband and i felt rushed. We couldnt enjoy the moment with them. Their birth certificate computers were VERY simple, right in your face, but one employee kept telling me what to do every step of the way. Made me feel dumb. Never gave my boys the chance to come up with clever or unique names for their bears. Most likely wont go back unfortunately.

Its a really fun experience for little kids and it was fun seeing the excitement in my kids eyes as they were given there stuffed toy and all of the staff members were very helpful and friendly with our selections all in all it was a great experience for all of our family thank you guys so much

Not so good of a selection it feels stuffy in there. I did like the Harry Potter section though.

Build a bear workshop was good and i love how they are just on task and there always helping eachother

This place was really fun for the kids but be ready to spend $50 at least. They had fun and got some really cool memories at least. Theres so many songs you can put in your bears and scents too. there are tons or cloths and accessories. Theres a selfie station and a place to get your bears birth certificate. And they even have backpacks and carrying cases for them as well. They at least repair and replace the songs for life. Overall its worth seeing your childs happy to personalize a stuffed animal and keep forever. Its a part of them and not another stuffed animal from Walmart. Its worth doing once.

Pleasant sales team, although a little harsh with Covid protocols as of June ‘21 in my opinion.Semi fun experience for my four year old daughter (mostly because of me) but wouldn’t take a child any older of age.Poor inventory, possibly Covid related.Made the best of it, but really don’t see the value in this experience.

The covid mandates were held to a T and could not be any safer. The staff are always superb and do what they can when a situation comes up. Covid has reduced inventory but its building up ( pun intended) Some negative reviews here couldve been avoided with better planing and understanding of State mandates. I will always push build a bear!!!!!!!!! Build it!!!

This place is over priced and pretty lame but its for the kids and seems to make them happy.

The ladies working there on January 17th were amazing. They made my little girl feel so incredibly special for her birthday.

Literally have nothing for boys. I took my son to go get a bear and they had nothing for him. I was so disappointed. I should’ve just left and not paid for a stuffed animal I could get at Walmart for 5

When there to get me granddaughter a bear for her birthday and her little sister got a unicorn too

I drove 3 hours this Valentines Day ti bring my two kids (5 and 1 years old) to build their first bear. We waited an hour just for them to tell us they wont have time for anymore people. I explained to them how we drive so far just to do this and they still said they wouldnt do it. The horrible thing is everyone in line was an adult!!! No kids! Here are my two kids upset and crying because they were so excited and these adults are just standing there. They could have stayed open just 30 minutes longer if thats what it took. It was literally 2 freaking bears not like it was a whole family!!!! I used to love Build a bear now im just disgusted. I know adults can enjoy but lets get real if 2 kids are outside the store crying let them in its mainly for kids!!!

Glad it is open, but with all the covid concern it was not as special Staff seemed like they thought everyone was highly contagious. If not for this it would be a 4.

Took my daughter last week. It was very busy. The cashier was slow. I couldnt wait to get out of there.

Great place some of the staff could be a bit more cheerful considering where they work but the guy who works in stuffing and tying was amazing!

Staff was very friendly... Was told the background noise would not be heard on the recording I made to put into my bear... But that was not the case... My song was not very discernable because of the background noise... It is pretty pricey.

They were having technical difficulties, none of the build-a-bears were getting any voices!

I love it, it was so awesome to watch my granddaughter have her experience with that, they are so great and how they help the kids get what they want and the look on their faces, just awesome.

Was smooth process even with covid just be patient as with anywhere you go now.

My daughter and I visited this store today and had an awesome time with Aimee! We picked the night and light furies from one of our favorite franchises How To Train Your Dragon. Rune also picked out a saddle for hers (night, now named Eclipse). I decided to name mine Luna (my kid and I didnt consult each other about names).🙌 It wont matter what age they are, kids love this store! My daughter is 15.

VERY disappointed that the employees were SO RUDE when we went into the store for my granddaughter 2nd birthday🤬She has never had to wear a mask, and on her birthday she was forced to wear one in your store in Tucson. When she got away for a second while we were checking the stuffing, one employee scolded her! Another employee scolded us because she wouldnt keep it on 🤬She turned 2 THAT DAY and does not understand! She doesnt have the ability to reason keeping it on! Our country mandate is 5 years old!Im just terribly disgusted and upset by your staff and rules. Not sure that well be back 🤬😡

Not the experience i was hyped up to expect

Some pretty aggressive sales tactics. When you go in to purchase 2 bears with a clothing item without ANY EXTRAS you are looking at easy $75. Pretty pricey since our last visit. The salesperson kept trying to get the children to add extras and we kept saying no but she persisted and continued to offer more items at $8 a pop x2. Very annoying and took some of the fun out of our Birthday outing.

We were sold a defective toy. We have proof of birth certificate with date of purchase. We live out of town. Came in to store to replace. They were not able to look up our purchase history in their computer to verify 90 day return policy. The toy never worked from day 1.We spent over $270 in their store. They would not even consider in store credit to remedy. Terrible customer service.Any other store has purchase history in their system. Who keeps receipts these days. We have technology.They need to look up purchase history with credit card or birth certificate.Ilene the manager would do nothing to remedy.When in doubt, do whats right. Customer service always builds sales. We will not be coming back. We will not be recommending to anyone.

Oh, oh, oh! So much fun for our grandson! The display in the windows is really welcoming for kids. John knew he was going to a special place for his third birthday. He was amazed by the different bears, costumes and sounds and was ready for a shopping spree! He decided on a Bat Man costume for his birthday bear, and loved every minute of it.

Smaller than other build a bears but the selection looks almost identical. Staff is friendly and they make building a friend magical. I dont recommend build parties because it can get hectic with so many kids waiting to stuff their animal and prices get expensive fast with accessories. Go to place for big pokemon and my little pony stuffed animals.

Just finished buying one for someone special. The service was fantastic, my only criticism is the pricing. But the employees were very good

Never had a rude employee here ever, theyre always so nice and helpful. Ive actually commented to them before that I dont know how theyre so nice all the time even when dealing with a rude customer which I have witnessed.

My girlfriend and I love it, I bought my girlfriend just about every Pokemon build a bear there is. They are so accurate and in such good quality. Overall 10/10

My robot-obsessed toddler was thrilled to make a stuffed puppy with licensed R2D2 sounds and a hoodie here. The prices are a little high for a stuffed animal (though it should also be said that these are nice, high quality toys), but the staff do a great job of making the whole thing an Experience, and youre paying for the fun of customizing your plush friend as much as for the actual toy. I particularly appreciated the theres no wrong way approach that the woman who helped us the most took, which let my son pick the elements he really wanted without feeling constrained to assemble a toy with the right components. I will definitely be taking my baby here to make a special stuffed animal when hes old enough to have strong interests like his brother.

They don’t update their hours. Only open until 7 even though it says 8 online. Showed up at 7 with my 4 kids - needless to say they are really upset. Update your hours.

Myself and a friend both wanted pokemon plushies and we came in looking for some. Not only did we find ones we liked (snubbull and eevee respectively), but the staff were all super friendly and helped us enjoy our plush-making experience.

Although I never bought anything (hope to buy an Eevee one day!) it was heart-warming to see all the little kids get excited to get their plushies stuffed and given life! Although as an adult I am a bit shy to build my own plushie, but I hope to gather the courage to do so one day! Maybe they let adults do the little ceremonies too, I sincerely hope so cuz I really want a Build-A-Bear plushie Eevee.But it is nice to watch those kids have their friends made X3

We have Belch and Barf, Elliot, Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Bowser!!!!! Love them all so much!!! Also a voice box for Bowser, and a got a Chewbacca voice box for another toy. I loved Belch and Barf so much that they needed extra stuffing and new stitches

I went in with my girls and when your are putting the hearts and things inside when they are being stuffed they asked the kids not the parents if they want all this things that cost more. I havent been to build a bear with them and didnt know until we got to the register. When I got to he register we had an extra 30 on top of everything else. I told the lady at the cashier I didnt know all that cost extra so why eould they ask the kids and not the parents when obviously the kids would say yes! So they end up opening back up the animals we purchased and taking it all out only for the next day the sewing to unravel. That place is expensive as is and they try to get more out of you. So dissaponted for my girls first experience.

You will never make money if you are closed. All store lights were on. Outside lights were on. Your website said you were open yesterday. If you are scared...wear a mask.

Its a great experience to get to build your own special friend. The lines and craziness as of late because of the pay your age event make it not worth going right now but in a month or two it will be back to its great super expensive but fun filled experience.
