Joe and his staff are liars and thieves. I have been a customer for 5 years and always paid on time, I came today to retrieve my things as they raised their prices. The lock I bought from Joe was rusted through and they refused to cut it, they demanded more money and that I pay for all of September. Joe was supposedly out of town but he was on the phone when we demanded to speak with him. He told me it was my responsibility while holding my things hostage. Then he said if I gave him 10 he would do it. This is a complete con job they run there and Joe is a thief he has been reported to the portage country police.

The staff is friendly. They take care of the grounds well. Affordable storage. It has security cameras and a gate that locks when the grounds close. Ive been a customer for a long time.

I called to get a unit and they took me through the entire process of getting a unit and then told me it closed at nine. They also said that no one needs their things at night anyways. I acquiesced because I needed a unit and they called me back an hour later saying “the owner doesn’t think this is the right storage facility for you.” Stay away.

Had a great experience using BSK for our storage needs. Highly reccomend. Secure, reasonable rates, and very Friendly staff. If you need a storage unit close to everything, give them a call...

I don’t recommend this facility Unless you only use the back half of the storage you purchase. Because if there is any problem, they “need” the front half open to fix any problems. I mean really, you are only paying for a room and a door. And when the door was broken- not my fault- the lady at the desk expected me to have the 1st 2-3 feet open. What?! I thought I paid for the whole space. But apparently not.So my advice: go anywhere else.

Best storage in Porter and surrounding counties. Friendly, safe, climate control, reasonable rates.
