I ALWAYS go there to grab one or three things I need and walk out with a cart full every single time 😍🙃 the staff has always been very nice and helpful and have recently made changes which I love!!

Cashiers here are always very accomadating as I dont always make it to get my shopping done until late at night, Im always running through the doors at 10 minutes to close and guilty of running about 2 minutes after close to get to the registers. Ive never got so much as a dirty look, no rude comments for being so late at all. I apologize like crazy and they just smile and giggle at meamd tell me its no problem. They are also very knowledgeable about available items and their locations. If you have the app to clip coupons and catch an item on sale you can save a ton of money here!

Very nice clerks. Shelves were empty low stock. Looks like they need more workers stocking. Stop trying to make one person do the job of three.

The new store is very clean and well stocked. I really loved that there is also a self checkout available.

First time I have been in the Vandalia store,,very nice and very friendly. Forgot my mask and the girl working was very nice about it and gave me a disposable one to wear. I will return to the store if I need to.

Nice experience here! Our visit was unfortunately due to our lab puppy getting sick in the vehicle while we were traveling. Stopped at this DolGen to get some cleaning supplies. They not only had everything we needed, but allowed us to clean things up while there and dispose of them. This is a DolGen staffed by good folks.

Good quality but dont have as many items such as containers and others. But over all its good service, its in and out, theres a few sassy employees but theyre just trying to work their job and the majority of them are quite nice. I go there for a lot of things so overall Id give it a 8.97/10

Not very friendly today. Merchandise all over the aisles and had to move it to get items I wanted. Young guy at checkout never said a word. So dissapointed.

Employee was rude very nasty gave me a hard time and said i was rude while on the phone during check out .and told me to shut up.do not go to this store.

I waited in line for my turn, when it became time for me to step up to the register the lady told me to go to the previous register! My buddies had just checked out before me with this same lady! She then told me she wanted to close so she could leave and go home! I understand that and thought okay no problem! So I move to the next register as she requested me to do. I checked out with no problem! But then the lady is just standing around talking and not doing anything to close out and get out of work like she stated... That sounds like a different problem and not a simple I want to leave to go home... Prejudice is everywhere!! Thats a problem, a major Problem!!

Disposable plates and utensils great selection and prices. Really clean dried navel beans for making bean soap. Everyone friendly.

The staff is great. The store is a bit overcrowded but that may be due to all the seasonal changes. They even order an extra box of Mentos just for me! Very nice.

Always end up waiting at the front of thr store for someone to come check me out. Can never find employees. When you do they are rude and not at all friendly. Family dollar next door may not have the same selection but they are WAY friendlier and always helpful. Ill go there from now on.

We use DG a lot... very disappointing that this locations shelves were very bare... had to go elsewhere for what we needed

This store is hit or miss, occasionally the lines can be quite long, other times i’m in and out. Some staff are very friendly, make great small talk other times I’ve heard staff talking openly about other staff, unprofessional. The store offers a descent selection of cleaners and random stuff. The prices are what you’d expect for the convenience of not having to run into a larger store and saving yourself some time.

Usually I like shopping here. After spending over $100 last week recieving 4 $5 off $25 coupons good today only. The clerk copped an attitude over my three orders totalling another $100 after $15 in discounts. Seriously dont print coupons if you dont want the customer using them creating revenue for your store.

Great place to pick up cheap paper products, snacks, soda, etc. Quick in and out, and a pretty cool digital coupon system that can save you a few bucks per trip. Plus its less than a mile away from my house.

Everytime i go here there is an issue..There is a lack of training among the cashiers..there is one girl who is great but isnt there enough lolNice people just need more training.

The employees are not the most attentive. Once time I was there at 9pm when theyre supposed to be open till 10pm everyday and the door was locked and there was nobody around but the sign said they were open till 10
