This location is absolutely horrible. Ive been paying for the curbside pick up and they always come at me with 5 to 10 things they supposedly are out of but when I decided to go check for myself I find what they couldnt, how is that possible when this is your job. Definitely going to a different store.

Best meat department or if the 3 major grocery stores (Kroger, Meijer, Walmart). Got 3pk of T-bone steaks and they were delicious. This location is always busy but the lines go quick.

I continue to shop here more for its location than anything. There has been a decline in this Kroger, with staffing, pricing, and overall appearance. On most visits I have to bag my own groceries and I find at least one pricing issue. I believe management and corporate are to blame, since the staff is very helpful when available.

This kroger location has a lot to improve on, as a polish person there is no polish language option at the self checkout lane, just english and spanish. No polish, even meijer is rolling out a polish language option at there self checkout lanes.

This Kroger’s is NOT good for the pickup ordering. They suck! I was a frequent customer using the pickup since Covid, having kids and me starting school needing the convenience and they ALWAYS EITHER FORGET SOMETHING/SEVERAL BAGS OF ITEMS OR ALWAYS LATE ON HAVING YOUR ORDER READY! I waited for 45 minutes outside for my order at the time I was told it’ll be ready for them to say it still wasn’t!

Lately I’ve returned home to find an item or two already expired. I’ve also noticed a decline in staff that help bag groceries, which in essence, plays a role in the long lines at the register. I think I’ll get my groceries elsewhere next time.

That girl Parcillia in the deli gave me expired food, will not go back to her. Terrible terrible.

Nice small store, but not a lot of selection. Employees are sometimes rude. Really nice floral dept. And I have to agree with some other reviews, that there is some expired stock still on the shelves.

This Kroger has gone way down hill. I guess if you are the only store in town you can get away with treating customers like dirt.

Nice store. Floor plan is weird. Mainly came here to go to pharmacy. Mine closed 😡. Followed a pharmacy tech up here, plus this pharmacy sometimes has the meds for my dog that closer Pharmacies didnt have.

Sure I will be to share my experience at the Krogers in Vandalia ..Just called and got tossed from department to department.Just to order some chicken wings for 45 minutes on the phone only be told they could not fill or try to fill my order .After talking with there imcompant manager I can see why they have problems.DARREN MARTIN!I dont do reviews but after being on the phone for 45 minutes.Thats 45 minutes I could have done something else .I have shopped there for over 10 years .Ill find something better with better service.Very poor all the way around !

They no longer carry the peeled garlic, visited several different stores.

This Kroger is usually well stocked and the cashiers are nice. They have a sushi chef that makes great sushi. I was hesitant for a long time to try the sushi as I usually get sushi at local restaurants. I have to say, I have not been disappointed yet with its quality. I would recommend getting it around 11am or so when it is fresh.

Lots of expired or bad produce on the shelves. I understand that I should probably be looking at the dates of the items I’m buying, but you would assume Kroger wouldn’t intentionally sell expired products to consumers. I’ve grabbed bags of apples or boxes of strawberries that have mold already on them, and I’ve gotten bad chicken from the meat department.Most of their employees are friendly and personable, but I went to this store after I got off last night around 11. I had worked 12 hours and didn’t want to deal with a large amount of people before the upcoming snow storm. I went to the only check out open and the Asian woman doesn’t even bother to greet me, but instead goes “I have three minutes left” and just stares at me. Excuse me? I responded by repeating what she said and asking her if that made her unable to just cash me out? She didn’t have to do anything else. I would bag and take care of the rest. She said “no” and angrily started scanning my items. Look, I get it, you’re tired and you want to go home, but god forbid it takes you just a little bit longer then 3 minutes and you don’t get off on time. What ever happened to customer service?

This is one of the nicer Kroger store locations in the Miami Valley area. Very good selection on Christmas Eve.

We used the online app to order groceries. We ordered 15 items and got 1. Terrible! They need to get better at this if they want people to use it!

Better than it has been since they have it put back together...still have stocking programs...limited selections on some items, things hard to find...Wish they would quit moving the aisles every 3 months....One good point is the checkout ...give that 5stars*****

This is Wednesday May 20th, 2020. I went to my local Kroger on Northwoods Ave. in Vandalia Ohio 45377 (where I go 3 to 4 times weekly). And I went down the toilet paper aisle. There was no pricing on the shelves for any of the in stock product. Including toilet paper and paper towels. I asked for someone to come down the aisle so I could check the prices. I was told by a Customer Service Manager that if I wanted the price then i`d have to carry them up, wait in line and have the price checked. That is totally unacceptable. So I asked for the store manager and a 20 to 23yo kid came and talked to me. His badge said store management not store manager but I gave him a try. He proceeds to tell me that they are doing their best to keep up with turnover and demand. I said that`s great but I was in the store on the 17th and there were no prices then either. At that point he offered to scan the products for me and give me prices. I have most likely made my last trip to that store. It has been declining for years and I am not happy with asking for a store manager at 2:30 on a weekday. And that manager decided to avoid me and sent a management trainee to handle a problem. Obviously they are so big that they don`t care about customer service. And they will tell you what you will pay for something. But you don`t dare ask the price... Otherwise you can carry it up there one at a time and get the price... I wish I could give 0 stars but this site wont let me... Step up your game... Huber heights and Englewood have no problems like this and they are only 3 or 4 minutes further away... You truly need a new management staff there from top to bottom. Been a manager in retail for over 30 years and when there is a problem I handle it... I do not pass the buck....

One of the best salad bars around. Always fresh fruit and veggies. Most of the employees are friendly and helpful.

Never been to an awful Kroger... always dependable with fresh food...they have been doing this for decades.... they got it figured out.

Greeted by an employee while I was browsing, ended up coincidentally checking out in their lane.Very genuine person, who had a solid sense of humor and an impressive grasp on customer service.I would have to say this Kroger knows who to hire and how to treat their employees! A great experience. Plan to return whenever Im in the area.

Was in there twice in one week... Very packed, no social distancing and no one wearing masks, including very few employees wearing masks... Felt very unsafe... And not to mention the angry comments and snickering from customers and employees becuz I was wearing a mask... This store should have security...

Well if I didnt say Krogers was like best grocery store in the world my wife would probably divorce me I dont believe theres a day but she doesnt go to Kroger one of these days Im going to get the nerve up to ask her how much she spends a month but Im kind of afraid that I might be sleeping in the garage if I would do that but I think its a great great store we live in Vandalia and our store is really really nice but the new Krogers in Troy is an exceptional place to go for all of your needs not this groceries

A better selection at the deli counter would be nice. Id like to see some Boars Head brand lunch meat. Produce is hit or miss. Have had a lot of things spoil shortly after bringing them home.

I enjoy shopping at Kroger. Their produce, meats,and vegetables are always fresh with a great selection, plus their prices are competitive with Walmart. The employees are always helpful and friendly.

National Retail Grocery Chain. Large range of fresh quality and processed foods, seafoods, fresh veggies and deli selections. They even carry the delicious plant based burger sensation Beyond Meat!

Fast, friendly service. However, they dont rotate their stock regularly. Ive purchased meat and dairy by mistake several times that were well past expiration. Sometimes the entire stock is expired upon exchanging. Now I make sure to check each item!

Usually pretty good but I was disappointed with the selection and customer service today. I couldnt find the pie filling (almond filling) that I needed to make my signature Thanksgiving dish. I told my cashier about my trouble finding it and she simply said, never heard of it. No effort at all to help me find it or apology for not carrying it. I guess Ill have to shop a different store for all my Holiday cooking from now on.

No Express Lanes open and only 3 of 4 self checkouts open....long lines at each lane and nobody open another register. So much for customer service.

My favorite grocery store. They have very good produce and meat departments. You can also buy sushi here which is made daily.

The only place where I do my groceries. Great produce, great meat and food for my pets: cat, guinea pig and turtle! I dont have to go to the pet store anymore.

Deli is SUPER filthy! Be careful buying anything in the Deli to feed to your family. They could possibly get deathly ill................stay away from Deli! Consider going to a different Kroger store. I had a private tour of a different deli in the area ( not Englewood) today. AMAZING difference in cleanliness!

Sunday, Sept 24, 1:00pm. To the management. Im tired of bagging/carting my own groceries. No bag person, cashier said nothing. The service desk said they were all out getting carts. NO THEY WERENT. I LOOKED WHEN I WENT TO MY CAR. NOT A ONE WAS IN THE PARKING LOT. So where were they? Maybe the manager should find out. Im in my 60s, my groceries were heavy today. Wheres your service? Sign me Very Disappointed in your service.

Huge store. Deli person was very nice and friendly and the cashier also was great.

This Kroger is closer to me than the Englewood Marketplace so I go here for convenience most of the time. The store is stocked well and I have not really had any problems here.I can only give 4 stars because the building is outdated and their business hours are different, not a 24 hour store - most days (that is strange to me). I hope that Kroger has plans to build a Marketplace somewhere close.

Hardly any checkout lanes open when you go in, but it looks like you have plenty of the employees roaming around the store aimlessly in a daze. Always out of stuff and its cramped and weird in there now .

I was waiting in line at the deli & I ordered the cheese I wanted. There was probably about 1/2 piece left and he threw it in the trash. Couldnt believe it. Then the lady next to me ordered a lb. of the wrong cheese. It was already in the plastic bag. The lady behind the counter threw that in the trash also! No wonder the deli prices are high. Complete waste of food. This was Aug.11 in the morning.

This store is laid out weird. The staff is very helpful when you cant find what youre looking for but they have things in odd places

The Kroger on Northwoods is a nice store, but there parking lot is a whole other story.

The best grocer around. Far better than Walmart or Meijer. Its always clean, well lit and the sale item available.

This is the only place I shop for groceries. They keep there shelves stocked and offer a variety of foods. Very rarely have I not found what I was looking for. Very friendly employees.

This used to be a premiere Kroger with different, unique items and excellent produce. Then something changed. Their produce is terrible and theyre shelves are so under stocked. Its a nightmare finding a checkout with baggers and the products they carry are more of the same items youd find at a Walmart store.

Pleasnt people working there always ready to help and answer any questions you have..

Customer service is no good from anyone . Anytime I go to customer service there is no one there or nobody acknowledges me.

Excellent Kroger. The set up a little outdated compared to the newer Kroger Marketplace layout but the staff here is extremely helpful. They more than makeup for the outdated layout.

I came looking for burn cream at 5am. They had it, but it was a small bottle. I could of gotten a larger bottle cheaper at a big box store, but that would of been farther away.

Good location. I like the option to select your groceries before hand and have them delivered to your car when you arrive.

Lately having more and more difficulty finding the items I want. Usually cant find the Free Friday item. Today 5 items on my list were not stocked, so I have to go to another store to buy. Sale items advertised are gone with empty shelves. No one to be found to ask if they had more stock in the back.

The staff at Krogers are always friendly. Prices are competitive and the selection is great!

I love kroger BUT, the store on northwoods blvd. Is definitely going down hill!! There always out of COMMON STOCK, very frustrating having to always go to a second store. Also, the quality of there fruit is very bad anymore. I buy a 5 lb bag of grapefruit every week and 2 or 3 out of every bag is soft and half rotten. So i wont be buying anymore there. I hate to have to leave Kroger but food is too expensive for bad quality and never having enough stock.

Have had bagger issues the past se eral visits. They need yo be trained on how to bag. You do not put household cleaner and food in the same bag.

No tomato sauce.asked four workers no help at all. Like 2 types canned mushrooms to choose from. The young workers are rude and seem to care less about helping. The most recent changes to the aisels are awful. It does not flow. I have to keep back tracking. Im going back to Meijer and Walmart. Cheaper and more choices. And the aisles make it easier to find things.

When Im not up for the full Kroger Marketplace experience I choose this one. Much better selection than other standard sized stores.

Negative then Positive given1st... Im tired of the expired parishable foods. I realized after seeing Id bought expired yogurt several times, to check dates before placing in my cart. Everytime I go thru them, I find expired yogurts. And NOW, I went to get something out of my fridge, for whatever reason, looked at the date, EXPIRED in Nov 18!! I bought it in Dec. Wth Kroger? Youre great at making the store look nice, how about put efforts into making sure your food isnt EXPIRED!! Im tired of throwing food away.2nd... POSITIVE... Very friendly staff. Clean store. Id say well organized, but they changed hope they display their health food. Not liking it. Shelves are stocked well.I enjoy my shopping trips. Over all happy with Kroger, but Im so done with EXPIRED foods.
