The coffee is good and reasonably priced, and they have a nice dining room. But a $6 burrito thats the size of my palm and badly microwaved isnt worth it. If your business partner is screwing you over with bad fare at high rates, pull the partnership and make your food in house.

The only good thing about it was the sweet barista. The quiche smelled weird and was the farthest from flaky as you can get. Floppy microwaved and gross. $13 for a coffee and a quiche that I threw away. Find another coffee spot.

A great coffee and lunch place in downtown Verona. The coffee beverages are top notch----off the charts! Much better than Starbucks. Tuvalu is the character and quality of Verona. Wonderful place, kind and engaging staff, superb food and hot beverages. Simply the best! Stop reading this review now and just go to Tuvalu!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. The staff was very friendly. My breakfast burrito and tea tasted delicious! I spent less than $10. Its a really unique place to visit, that sells neat little gifts. Theres a small little gift shop inside of this coffee shop that is really nicely setup. I felt right at home during my visit, and I felt so comfortable that I was able to get a lot of reading done while eating my meal, despite the semi-loud conversation two men at the table next to me were having. Usually, I have to go to a library because I cant handle all of the noise/energy in a space - when Im trying to concentrate. This is a great place to study/collaborate with some people/to relax and hang out. It felt like a friendly small business. Ill definitely go back, sometime, and I highly recommend stopping at this place to grab a bite if you happen to be in the area.

Such friendly owners and employees. We loved the selection of coffees. My latte was good, and our sandwiches totally hit the spot! I think the big highlight was the beautiful front porch and hanging flowers. Inside there are lots of tables and chairs, great for working on a laptop or studying. There is also a child’s play nook and a gallery of fair trade items for sale, in case you forgot someone’s birthday I guess...

Come out and support this great little coffee shop/cafe! Even though they dont have in-cafe dining, I can never resist their takeout beautiful quiches and amazing coffee selections. Who wouldnt want to do a little shopping while you wait for your food?! Tuvalu supports many small artisan businesses by selling products that make you 😁.

This is a very nice low key coffee destination tucked away in downtown Verona with a cozy feel and broad selection of vegan baked goods. Unlike similar looking places in Madison, this is less student and work centric. It definitely feels more like a place a few friends could me up for a cup than a place to plop down with your laptop and earbuds. Easy recommendation 👌.

Lets start with the positives, shifting them from 1 to 2 stars. They young people they had working the register etc were nice and seemed to be great workers. The place is cute and the art shop portion is a fun touch. However, the latte tasted like burnt coffee, the burrito while pressed in a panini press was limp and tiny, and the oatmeal i think was just poured from a generic pouch maybe... it tasted worse and more bland than basic instant oatmeal. But the worst part is that they apparently are so enriched that they dont feel the need to bother to be open. They have plenty of seating and yet seem to be still scared of a virus. Oh, and they didnt even have the AC on for those nice kids and it reached they 90s in wisconsin that day.

What a disappointment! This is not the typical food we have gotten in the past. This is grilled cheese with less than mediocre chips. As you can see, theres barely any cheese and not the quality that they typically serve. Unfortunately, we will not be supporting this local business until they raise their quality and presentation again.

I typically enjoy stopping in a getting a coffee and burrito. However, when I stopped in today, after my run (as is typical when Im in the area) I headed to the restroom before seeking to place my order. I was immediately told, by an employee, that the bathroom was not for public use and if I needed a bathroom I could go nextdoor, to Millers. I understand that I looked pretty disheveled from my run out in the rain, but I had full intentions to order my typical.... And I still did... But after this experience, Ill be going elsewhere.

Delicious everything! I ordered quiche Lorraine, a raspberry jam bar, and (regular drip) coffee. The quiche crust had a flaky, croissant-like quality. The egg was a great consistency: not too fluffy, not too custardy and had a nice flavor. The accompanying greens with salad vinaigrette dressing was lackluster, but fresh. The jam bar was jam-y. There were 3 coffee selections. I chose the darkest one and it was rich and not too bitter. The staff were friendly and provided prompt service. There are lots of little seating alcoves inside with a treasure trove of locally made goods for sale. I opted to sit outside on the front porch and people watch. I noticed a dog bowl of water and was assume that the porch is dog friendly! :-) The coffee house is conveniently located next to the bike trail.

Used to go here all the time. Then Covid hit. At first staff and owners were taking appropriate precautions but then totally stopped. Didn’t provide conditions to socially distance and stopped wearing gloves and masks. THEY PREPARE FOOD!!I kindly and quietly suggested that they should do these things and was immediately confronted with a very defensive and hostile attitude.Researching further into the owners, I found that I shouldn’t be surprised. The owner often treats employees with similar disrespect.Needless to say, my business goes elsewhere now.

Ive always wanted to go there and I finally did. I work at VAHS and I was doing summer school or ESY. My homegirl Lori gave my a ride to work and she loves this place. She drinks straight black ☕. I prefer a little something with some shine to it. Shes a white lady whom drinks black coffee. Im a black man whom enjoys lattes and frappés. I think I had the caramel frappe with a triple shot of espresso. Yes I say Xpresso sometimes and I dont care what you haters say. The coffee is lit and service is the 💣. The desserts and breakky are dope too. They have changed the inside to keep everyone safe. Youre supposed to enter one door and exit the other. However people are either too 😴 still or not paying attention. The service is fast, the black stuff is strong, and the baristas are lovely. Come get yourself some Tuvalu. You wont regret it.

The good thing about this place was the service; nice, friendly and helpful. The coffee was good. The atmosphere was cozy and home-y. A good place to sit down and read a book or study. Unfortunately the food selection is limited, especially for breakfast, and it was just OK. Also, the tables were not clean, as in they were crumby, sticky and dirty. Which, in a food establishment, is the easiest thing to fix.

This was my go to place for good coffee, and lite bites. Its a large and cozy space as well, with a little kids corner for a more family friendly set up. The 2 stars are attributed to my customer experience, and disappointingly my worst experiences have been when the proprietor is present. The staff seems a little uneasy in addition I had a few experiences where I witnessed rude interactions with customers using the vacant meeting room and once myself where I was scolded for being in the room unless I spent a minimum of $40. There are more positive and customer friendly ways to draw these lines.
