I would like to take this time to than Benton Nissan of Hoover they have the best Customer Service! I wanted a 2021 Nissan Sentra and I went to a local Nissan Dealership and was given poor Customer Service and just a of lack concern in my purchasing a vehicle from that location. Mind you Im in Georgia I reached out to Mr. Raymond Allen and I was able to purchase the vehicle I wanted with no hassle the communication was professional, clear, and concise. Thank you to Mr. Jeff Perkins ( No relation) to Mr. Wayne Byram the vehicle was delivered to my door thank you for enduring the rain and traffic to deliver this vehicle! I love the car thank you for making a car buying experience memorable.

I brought my car of a oil change. I got there at a little before 8:00. I was informed it may take 3 hours. I left my car and I was informed they would contact when my vehicle was ready. I was contacted almost 2 hours later and was informed my vehicle was ready. The young lady that took my information was really friendly and is a great asset to your company.

Well the only people that were nice and courteous were Jeffery and the nice lady that checked me out. Mike was very rude and would not accept my coupons said they were from another dealership. I said what difference does that make they are Nissan coupons. He continued to say we could not accept. I said I took my car to the wrong place and wont be back but he said I was in the right place. I said no I am not b/c you wont accept my coupons so I am in the wrong place. Mike walked off. Jeffery knew I was frustrated and said maam I will find some coupons for you. I told Jeffery Mike needs to take a class under you on how to talk to customers b/c he clearly does not.

My husband, Randy and I, were searching diligently for a vehicle as my husband was starting a new job and the company he was going to work for did not offer company trucks. His start date was today (July 6) and as of last Friday, July 2, we still did not have a truck. When we came across a vehicle at Benton Nissan of Hoover, we thought at last maybe our search was over. Randy made contact with Product Specialist, Angie, and we immediately felt comfortable working with this dealership. Since we lived 4 hours away from Benton Nissan, we told Angie that she would be our eyes for this vehicle (it was a used vehicle). We told her we did not want to drive 4 hours one way and discover the vehicle would not be what wed hoped for (which did happen on another vehicle somewhere else earlier in that week). Angie immediately went out in the rain and took tons of pictures and sent to us and was honest with us and mentioned a couple of minor scratches. We decided to take a chance and drove the 4 hours to see it. We were not disappointed. Not only was Angie a joy to work with, she also had Cameron assist us with a couple of things. At first, I worried about buying a Mazda from a Nissan dealer, but the SUV was everything I had been searching for. I had an 8am appointment for an oil change. After 2 hours and 20 minutes of waiting, I went to check on my car. It was still in the waiting tunnel. I told the guy dont worry about my oil change because I was leaving. He told me they were about to take my car back and it would be done in 30 minutes. I work overnight 730p-8a. Its completely unacceptable to wait 3 hours for just an oil change. What was the point of me even making an appointment. I bought my car in 2013. Ive gotten my car serviced at the Hoover location every since then. I doubt that I will continue after today. Saying Im disappointed is an understatement.

I brought my Nissan Leaf in to get serviced due to an error on the dashboard. My vehicle no longer charges after service, and it is an entirely electric vehicle. As such, I can no longer use my vehicle until I bring it in to get service. Hopefully I have enough mileage to get it back to the dealership.Update: changed from 2 to 5 stars. Silly mistake on my part: the outlet connected to the home circuit in the garage overloaded. I didnt realize until after bringing the Nissan Leaf in for the 2nd time. Benton quickly let me know the Leaf would charge, I checked the circuit breaker box in my garage, and sure enough a breaker flipped. I flipped it back on, brought the Leaf home, and it was good to go. Thanks, and sorry, Benton Nissan!

I told the lady I had a recall on my car that if it would take long to fix the problem I would come back another time, still don’t know anything about that. The woman that took my car back for me hasn’t even come and given me any updates. Normally I don’t leave bad reviews but this is ridiculous.

Regarding the service center - Would recommend you go elsewhere. They estimated around $600 less than the final bill - and after review of the second page of itemized charges, there was:1. $6 fee for windshield washing fluid that I just filled 2 weeks ago2. $50 shop charge for the luxury of spending my money here3. $40 to change perfectly good windshield wipers4. no discount on oil change that they promised as on their website and we discussed on the phone5. $10 for looking at the battery6. $280 for a nissan factory issue that should have been covered by the manufacturer

I purchased my daughters first car here and from beginning to end, they were the epitome of customer service. As soon as I inquired about the car I saw online, I received a general response. Within an hour, I got a response via email from sales and made an appointment with them. Ive been keeping an eye out for months looking for the perfect car for her and couldnt pass up this deal. Cameron helped me through the car buying process. He was the absolute best, although I do think he missed out on a career in comedy! Im not a people person, but he put me at ease and made the car buying experience exceptional - even though I kept him way past closing time trying to finalize everything. Sadly, I dont remember the name of the person who did my finance paperwork, but he was also great. My child is usually super quiet, but he started talking to her and she wouldnt stop. Overall, fantastic experience. I will definitely return when its time to trade in my car.

Okey so I don’t really write reviews but this really upset me. I was driving up and down this main road looking for our next family SUV. Me and my boyfriend already own 2 Nissan and we have been in the Nissan family for years prior to the ones we own now. So we are deciding if we wanna continue with Nissan or look at another make. I was looking at their cars and no one came out to ask me if I needed help. Then drive to the front of the building and the sales men waiting for his customer didn’t even bother giving me a card or anything or assisting me with anything. I was wearing gym clothes because I had just left the gym, so yes maybe I wasn’t dress to impress but this was a poor customer services experience.

They sold me a bad battery. After taking my car back 4 times for not starting in the span of 2 months (from when the battery was replaced) they found nothing wrong with my car or the battery recently replaced. I proceeded to take my car to a different mechanic after being told by this dealership that nothing was wrong with the battery or car after a full diagnostic test for $153.Other mechanic shop diagnosed a dead battery cell within 20 minutes of testing battery. As a night nurse I rely on my car to start when I am getting off my shift early in the morning before the sun has even risen. I sent in the report and issue to Nissan corporate which quickly and easily accepted a refund for my battery, but this dealership refused to accept responsibility and refund for the diagnostic test which was not done well considering a bad cell is not an uncommon problem for car batteries.After being stuck in a dangerous parking lot of downtown Birmingham multiple times, only to have the manager raise his voice at me over the telephone I highly recommend you avoid this dealership and go to the other dealership or mechanic shops in Birmingham.

I went in to trade in my car and purchase something new. The sales associate, Trey was amazing. We spent hours working on getting the perfect deal for me. Once everything was squared away, the car was cleaned out, gassed and being brought around to me. While waiting for the car to be gassed up, I was approached by the finance manager who informed me in a very nonchalant way that I would not be taking this car home. He stated that the car was a trade in and the owner was having trouble with her financing so she would be bringing her new car back and needed the car I was purchasing. I was not given the option to look at other vehicles, or really do anything else. I am highly disappointed and dissatisfied with the service or lack thereof. I wasted three hours and had my credit checked for nothing. I will not be recommending this place to anyone because the cars they have for sale may not actually be for sale.

Watch their price fixing! They advertise for one price, then give you a quote with a different price. They say ad price is the special, but no where on the ad does it say this is a discounted price or what the original price was! Case in point: vehicle ad said $51,695. Their quote said: $54,890!! When called out on it, they said, Thats the price before the discount is added for our internet price, which I further discounted. Internet ad did not say the vehicle was discounted! For a vehicle KBB and NADA say is around 39,000-47,000!Any shady businessman can raise a price to reflect a discount, but to raise it beyond recommendations, and then provide two different prices? Price gouging and no integrity! They represent the car salesmen of twenty years ago! Rip off the customer at any cost! (Pun intended)

Recently bought a used Titan and my salesperson, Lacey showed me all the bells and whistles included. She was extremely knowledgeable about the Titan and convinced me it was just what I was looking for. Tech test drive my car and pick up a screw from the shop and expect me to pay for it. Worst experience ever. I had an exceptional experience purchasing a new Nissan Rogue 2020. Thanks a lot to Angie Denmark.She is listening, caring, professional and prioritizes the customers needs. She is determined to make sure that the customer is fully satisfied and checks out later to make sure everything is okay as per your expectations. Secondly I would like to appreciate Jason who did my paperwork within 10 minutes, quite unbelievable. Claim to have fees that warranties won’t cover so they can make a profit. Claim to be unable to duplicate issues despite having video and photo evidence of malfunctioning systems in car. Refuse to investigate faulty airbag even with photo proof of a passenger in the seat and the presence of the light indicating the airbag is off. Haughty staff, obstinate service team, patronizing management. Worst Nissan experience in my life. My dad is a longtime multiple Nissan owner and I have never seen such unprofessional business practice from the bottom to the top. A joke of a dealership, definition of a stealership.

Hopeless experience I have had at this dealership. The staff is pathetic- zero communication when it came to letting me know about my vehicles service.It took them 3.5 hours to fix my Car with basic Oil change, oil filter and tire rotation. I wish I had the option to give a 1/2 or Zero star rating to this place.😡😡😡The only person who i can say is good is Shan Bell the manager who took care of my previous bad experience at this dealership in December 2020. Rest all other staff is pathetic here.

I purchased a 2016 Honda pilot on August 28 pick it up on September-12-2020 dont like to write bad reviews but I had the most horrible experience I ever had they dont return call cant even get a manager the only response I receive was through texting Billy Baker he is absolutely wonderful thanks you so me Mr. Baker now let me tell you I call number are time trying to get someone and higher management about the issue I was having from day one about a noise and the front passenger side tire it so bad you cant drive with the window down and it have a skip but no one response but Billy have to go on the website to get a response call back 5 to 10 minutes agreed to take the truck in on September-22 drove for over a hour and miss time from my job to take it tech test drove told my daughter that he was going to let someone else test drive it because he didnt know what the noise was only to be told about 2 hours later that the tire had extra rubber the reason it was sounding like that but this tires have 2017 and 2018 dot code pass shelf life so I ask if Im supposed to drive the vehicle with that noise he told me I have to talk to the manager so I did he said they are not responsible for costume please tell me what is costume about a tire so I ask to speak to this manager he come out we take the vehicle for another text drive first thing he did was turn on the air we want down the interstate could hear anything on the way back I ask him to let the window down he crack the window but didnt let it all the way down so he can hear the noise when it down but offer to give me a deal on some tires the skip have gotten bad like it need a tune up i havent made my first payment but i got to worry about tires and the skip my trade in have new tires in you going sell me a vehicle with extra rubber on the tire no one said anything about the skip and i got so upset about the fact Im going to have to take a vehicle that I have made the first payment on and get another tire until I forgot to ask about the skip and let me tell you I even have to contact Mr.Baker to get my paperwork when I pick up the vehicle my finance agent could found my envelope with my paperwork told me he would send it when he get prove of insurance send prove for insurance the same day I pick it up call him a couple of times no answer Mr.Baker got the paperwork for me and email them on September 22 if I had read youll review before I give youll my business I would be one of your customer did a trade in and put down 2500 dollars to get this kind of service I may be a woman but Im not stupid youll gave me a bad deal show me that youll are about the dollars and not safety I told your manager about a bad experience that I witness a vehicle in front of me have a blow out and what happens to the young lady that was driving that vehicle but I thanks God for keeping me safe because youll dont care

Worst service ever!!!!!! I made an appointment to have my car services and to see why it was making a noise when driven. I paid the $140 diagnostic fee and was told that what ever i had done that day would be deducted from the $140. I waited two hours for Mr Kidd (not the technician who actually worked on my car) to tell me I need tires, turbo was buring oil, and that he suggest I buy a new car. The inspection check list was not explained. But I got quote on tires. After looking at the sheet it turns out I need to have the transmission fluid replaced, which I could have had that done while I was there. But again none of that was explained to me . It was stressed that I needed to by a new car though. Your job is to tell me whats wrong with my car, not try to sale me another one. And in top of that, when I got home I noticed a screw in my tire. I immediately called Mr kidd and told him. He said it wasnt any construction going on around th building, so he didnt see where I could get the nail in my tire. I repeated told him its not a nail, it a screw from a cars engine. And that there was a fee of $35 to fix it. So I paid $200 for nothing and and got to pay an extra $35 to fix a tire that was done on your watch? Mr Kidd said he would talk to the service manager to give a call. Havent gotten that call yet. This is not my first bad experience with Benton Nissan service center. I do not recommend this service center to anyone. And I will not be buying any more cars from Benton Nissan.

I came in on Friday morning to get my car checked out because my check engine light was on. My appointment was at 11:30 AM. I sit there for three hours only to be told that I would have to leave my car. I was offered a rental it was OK with it. I was told that my car would be ready in the next day by lunchtime. I received a call Saturday morning letting me know what the problem was with my car I had a thermostat put in almost a year ago from this establishment and was told I we need a new one and they would not honor the warranty on the one I had gotten replace from last year. So I had to pay additional money for the same part that was still in warranty. I was told to give them a car will be ready by lunchtime. I received another call saying that my car will not be ready until Monday and to keep the rental. The timeframe for my car being serviced was unacceptable. I’ve never had to wait this long to get my car serviced by this establishment. I’m not sure if I will return again. I had to pay extra money for a part that I had already purchased last year.
