Yardage Town is the best fabric store since the 50’s. The workers have been going above and beyond to help customers. If the store was so bad then it wouldn’t have lasted so long but sadly the owners need to retire. They deserve to retire. I wouldn’t pay attention to Christina because she’s a hateful, ignorant, uneducated person that only payed $20 for $80 worth of fabric. If you notice most of her reviews are negative so if you ask me, she seems to be the problem not others. 😘😘
This store has absolutely no sense of customer service!!! The young girl behind the counter named Diana (so she says) was very rude, unprofessional and definitely uneducated. I went in to purchase an entire roll of fabric and she unrolled the entire roll and refused to roll it back up. Who does that??? When I asked her to please roll it back up she said “the owner” said they’re not allowed too. She needed to use a calculator to do simple math which explains why she works there. Definitely not the brightest of the bunch. After I asked to speak to the manager for a refund, the manager said they don’t give refunds and that I have to call the owner for a refund. The girl named Diana said if I didn’t leave the store she was going to call the police because I wanted a refund. I told her to go ahead and call them. I’m a dissatisfied customer who wants a refund. So we called the number she gave us and the lady that answered the phone said the owner should be in the store and she would call us back. Finally we received our refund. Save yourself the trouble and time and just go to Joanne’s or Michael’s. No wonder why this place is closing!!!
Rushed to get here by 6pm. Arrived at 5:42 and the door was locked and I could see the girls standing inside and chatting
Too bad it is closing. Nice location and good selection if you are not picky or shopping for different projects.
I LOVE the selection at this store! The employees are so kind and helpful. Unfortunately, they are closing. Waaaaahh. Maybe I should just buy the store.....
The lady working here is hella rude. I was taking photos of fabric so my friend and I could make a decision together and she asked me from across the store why I was taking photos. Said it was a problem, and I cant just be taking photos of her store. Then proceeded to take photos of ME while shopping, without my consent. Bye, you just lost a customer for life.
I want to root for these guys and I come for things I can but they are too far behind their competitors and it shows.Customer service is friendly and knowledgeable maybe a touch above Joanns staff. When I think Ive lucked out and found a unique item I do a quick web search and sure enough ol lady Jo has it for cheaper and other items to go with. Alternatively Yardage has virtually zero web presence. No IG a Twitter that hasnt been updated in almost a decade and website where the domain hasnt been paid. I read an article that the guy is closing up shop, hes too old and no one to pass the business to as his kids have their own careers. Good luck to you and thanks for your service to the community.
My favorite Go-To store for any Sewing Project. Great Selection and prices. Love the last Saturday of the month sales. Ive been a customer for over 35 years. Keep up the great service to the community!
My favorite place to get fabric! I handmade and sell clothes and I am never disappointed when going to buy what I need
I drove here to check out their fabric stash, but it was closed even when their website said it closes at 7PM. I wasn’t the only one either that stopped by. I saw at least three other cars come by and check if they were open. Kinda sad.
Great store. They had the fabric I needed. Employees were really helpful. Their pricing is good and they have lots of sales.
I LOVE THIS STORE AND HAVE BEEN BUYING FABRIC AND STUFF FROM THEM FOR 20+ YEARS. SO SAD TO SEE THEY WILL BE CLOSING ALL THEIR STORES SOON.

Nice store. I found a few sewing trims and fabrics for my wish list. Friendly staff!
Good prices, courteous service, exactly what I needed.Bring cash, they are very low tech and *hand write receipts*.
The store has a very limited selection of the Fabrics that I need. The stock does not rotate.

Mostly bolt ends in the back, but if you look, deals can be had. The regular bolts in the front go on sale first Saturday of the month. Be sure to read no return policy above register before purchase.

Nice people
One doesnt have to know how to sew to shop here, but it helps. Friendly staff can help with non-sewing ideas for projects. Watch for end of month specials.
