I’ve been going to Yogurt Giant since I was a kid. More recently when the owners told me they were selling so they could retire I was sad but optimistic. After meeting the new owner and eating there a couple times since the change over, I can say that I am impressed. This last time I noticed that she changed the name which made me a little sad but it makes a lot of sense because anyone who has never been to Yogurt Giant could pass it up not knowing that they have delicious sandwiches thinking it’s just a yogurt place. Sandwiches is what they are known for! She’s done a lot already to invest in the place to take care of what was 40 years of neglect to building. Let’s just say they were a lot of things that needed to be fixed. I like the new look I’m good with the name and the food is just as good. And well the previous owners put 3 ounces of meat she puts 5 ounces of meat! I got a pastrami sandwich combo with the pasta salad and a drink for $10. That’s a great deal in my book. Also something should change that I think it’s a good change is she has the option now to not have tuna in the pasta salad. I always thought it was such a weird thing that tuna was in the pasta salad at yogurt giant and now if you don’t like tuna in your pasta salad you don’t have to have it! But if you want it you can still have it!

Hadn’t been to yogurt giant in a few months so I took my daughter there because we where in the area house sitting. I was surprised and delighted to meet the new owner. She is great, friendly, and personable. My daughter is a submarina sandwich girl and I told her once she try’s these sandwiches she would change her mind. As I expected she is now is in love with the Good Belly Deli. We had to go 2 days in a row while we were in the area. Thank you for the awesome sandwiches!

I randomly stopped in to get a quick sandwich just because I was on that street, no rhyme or reason to it. Ordered a club sandwich and soda for $10 which was ready in about 4 minutes. Generous portions of meat and clearly fresh ingredients made for and incredibly delicious lunch. The lady who took my order was friendly and had a huge smile the whole time she helped me. Old fashioned customer service and great food = 5 stars!

If you want the taste, smell, and feel of a 37 year old Vista local deli shop, this is it! The owners are personable, caring, chatty, and downright hilarious. The atmosphere makes you feel like Vista is a small town. The subs are great too.

Sales guy and I got the 12 #8 Ham, Pepperoni, Salami. I got toasted and he did not, but both were excellent. Fresh bread, simple ingredients and friendly owners! I expected nothing less from the other reviews.

I am very glad that the Popeyes next door was overly packed because it was the catalyst for me to try this awesome deli out. I had the 6 in roast beef with cheese. The sandwich was perfectly crafted and the contrast of red onion and horseradish was phenomenal. One of the best sandwiches I have had in a long time. Youve got a forever customer in me.

This deli is awesome! Great food and customer service! I love how fresh the ingredients are and the portions are great for the price. The inside looks way better since the new management took over. The inside is bright and clean. Ill definitely be back. Give them a try!
