Supposed to be open at 9:00, was there at 9:18, still not opened. 10:10 went in. New owner said open at 10: 00. Door sign says 9:00. Went to pay my Verizon bill. Charged me $1.00 to do so with credit card, cash $3.00. Really ? Not happy at all.Good time to change carrier.
The worker had an attitude from the moment we walked in. We went in to get a new phone and the worker tried to look up the account. She kept trying to send texts and emails to our phone but nothing ever appeared. She did it enough that it wouldn’t let her send anything else. She said there was nothing more she could do and that we would have to leave and go to a different location. We asked for any explanation but she brushed us off with a “welp sucks to suck” attitude.

I have always heard to never use these retailer stores and instead to always go to a corporate store. Well from now on I will. I purchased two iPhones at this store over the last 6 months. I had “Device Dollars” to use on my first transaction that even after mentioning it several times was never applied to my account by the salesperson. Oh well not a big deal. Fast forward a few months and i go in again to purchase another phone and tell the salesman that i have “Device Dollars” that i want to be applied to my purchase. He agrees and explains how much it will reduce my monthly bill. Well today (days later) I’m reviewing my account, my receipt and my changes to my plan and i see that AGAIN the “Device Dollars” we’re not applied!! Now I’m getting annoyed.. so i call the store and all they can tell me is the salesman I worked with is no longer with their company and I will need to contact customer service to have my “Device Dollars” applied...The only reason I am even rating it 1 star is because zero is not an option
Staff isn’t interested in helping you unless you’re there to buy a phone. Prices are higher here than normal Verizon stores.
Joshua and Steve were absolutely awesome! I went in because Steve called me. He was looking at my current plan and device and pointed out that I was paying too much on an older plan. How many people would actually do that?! They set me up on a new plan, new device and a case for my new device. I now have twice as much data, that rolls over to the next month if I dont use it, a much better phone, and to top it off, I saved $37 a month! How awesome is that?! Steve and Joshua went above and beyond to make our experience at the Wadsworth Verizon store a very pleasant experience. They have a loyal customer in me. 👍👍
I had a VERY bad experience with Steve, the Manager. I walked in to asked for help in clearing out space. He did not ask to see my phone or ask how old it was. He simply said, are you interested in buying a new device. When my answer was no, he said I had to call tech support. There was zero customer service. I realize this was a stand alone store but Verizon, you need to find a better way to vet out the people who represent you.
Came to upgrade my phone and got a free tablet as a promotion. Then found an an extra line on my account. Went back to the store where the guy laughed at me and assured me he told me 3 or 4 times he told me. However, neither me or my friend who was with me remember it. Verizon customer service said I couldreturn it but the manager refused. I will be going to a different store to get better help. Guess I should have known there was a catch. Do yourself a favor and go to a direct store.
We took our elderly parents here to get smartphones. They were extremely helpful and patient. They also gave us a good deal and threw in some extras. Thanks Donald!
Small store but EXCELLENT service! We were in there yesterday and, Travis, the owner, was so helpful. He spent a lot of time with us, making sure we fully understood the terms and conditions we were agreeing to. And the day before, we were in and Joey and Quinton also took excellent care of us. Everyone was helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. No more trips from Doylestown to Wooster (40 minute trip) to a Verizon corporate store where youre one of twenty customers. I would much prefer dealing with a smaller local store (10 minute trip) where service is more personalized.
One employee tonight. Apparently reading some of the other comments here this isnt the first time at this store. I am however, giving this rating of 5 stars solely on the customer service of Kayla. We had to wait for a while because she was by herself and the staffing did not meet the needs of the customer volume (which is a management issue but not her fault) but she was very apologetic and worked very hard to help us with our issue. Kayla definitely provides 5 star service! I would come back any night she is working without hesitation.
Extremely helpful staff and wonderful atmosphere. Lakin, Kayla and Travis were so so helpful when we were in a rush to pick out phones before a vacation. They made the process extremely easy and helped us with any questions we had. I highly recommend this location and staff to anyone looking for an upgrade or for getting a phone in the first time. Went there looking for inexpensive phone in 10 to 15 dollar a month range was informed they dont make phones that cheap went to store across town hooked me up with what I wanted

Kayla worked for two or more hours to make sure I received what I wanted after having such disgusting service at the Verizon store located off of 261 by the target in wadsworth, will never go there again. But as soon as I walked through this Verizon store on high st, totally different these ladies rock. Love this store.

If I could issue a negative star, I would. Very deceptive, subpar staff. Horrible.-Declined insurance on phone; charged for insurance now.-They didnt completely transfer old phone to new. Old phone still getting texts and using data.- Blatantly lied about the difference between phone models. Showed up on the first bill with the new phone. The documents I signed and have copies of didnt have financial breakdown, you just get a nice surprise on the bill. Was quoted $10 more a month when in actuality its $30 not including the insurance I declined and am being billed for now.
Worked with Kayla today and she set my husband and I up with new phones - great service! She was very friendly and took lots of time to explain our options and set everything up for us. Glad we switched from AT&T!

The employees insulted my phone of choice (I had done my research ahead of time and knew which phone was best for me), gave attitude about the plan my family uses, and refused to assist me when I did not have the primary account person with me (even if I got her on the phone, to approve my actions, that was not enough). Infuriating. Verizon has gotten too large to give proper service.

Im amazed to see the number of positive reviews considering our experience. These guys changed our account around without proper authorization from an account manager and created a nightmare that only corporate verizon could fix, which they did. Will give you the run around and the usual employee X, Y, or Z wont be in till next week, we will call you then. Corporate verizon said it best...avoid third party stores and only shop for verizon products at an actual Verizon store.

Over the last several months, I have had lots of issues with my bill or something with my phone. I have went to the independent verizon store in Wadsworth. I was very lucky to get the same agent to help me with my problems. She went way above and beyond to help me with everything and suggest things I could do to make it easier for me. Her name is Lindsey, (not sure if I spelled it right), but she is fabulous!!! I was thinking about leaving and going to another carrier, but she was so good, I decided to stay with verizon!

DONT Use the verizon cloud if you ever decide to switch phones carriers because your sick of paying ridiculous amounts of money you will lose all your pictures! I switched to sprint, verizon is tell me there is no way to get my pictures of my children and their birth back!!!! Couldnt be more mad lost 22gb of pictures of all of my childrens whole life worth of pictures were on the cloud!!!!
Kayla was very helpful to solve several problems I had on my phone.she was very friendly and courteous and helped me twice in the same day.
My experience was terrible, I went in to have my Nexus 6p (unlocked) activated and buy a sim card. The lady said my phone may not be able to activate and I would have to buy one from the store, however I know that it is fully compatible with Verizons CDMA network. She tried activating the phone but she said she got an error message. She told me its not gonna work, but the reason the error message came up was because my old phone with that number was still on and she knew it. In order to deactivate and old phone and activate new phone you must turn off both phones. Since I knew she basically lied to me I told her I want to buy the sim anyway and that I would figure it out. I left the store and called Verizon support and they told me that the phone is compatible with the network and that they could activate it. They had me turn OFF both phones and the support person actived my Nexus 6p in no time. Overall I will never buy or ask for help from this store again.

When we entered the store there was only one employee. We had to wait for over 20 minutes for her to finish with another customer. Then after stating our issues she had to call her boss. After talking with her boss we where told to shut off our phone and return at 10:30 the next morning witch for someone with s job doesnt work so all and all it was a very bad experience. Next time Ill just drive to a authorized Verizon store.
