Best gun store & gunsmith in town!! They have a great selection & great prices. always so helpful & knowledgeable. This place should win best of the best. Pleasure doing business with yβallπ
Great experience. They were very helpful and friendly. They will definitely get more of my business.
I have had two old guns cleaned up and cerakoated by Oakridge. Both look great and all markings are still crisp and visible. I have also had several guns transferred through them and every time the transactions were flawless and fast.
My 1947 savage arms shotgun has been in for about 4 months, they say they have ordered a screw for it but have not even touched it. Shouldβve taken a week max. Getting my gun back tomorrow. Do NOT recommend
As the owner reported there were issues I wasnβt aware of on my 1947 shotgun. I am picking up the gun today. After leaving the store on 15 December we were notified my grandson who lives with us was experiencing COVID 19 so went into quarantine.
Did my saiga 12 5 years ago charged the furniture pistol grip and even coated it.Hands down best place i have ever had work done.
Great gun shop!!!
Very friendly and welcoming. Not your average place that rushes you. Thank you for helping me out over the years!
The best place to get any work done. Always helpful. Everyone that works there is great.
Just picked up a new pistol I ordered online this evening. Unfortunately I was that guy that comes in 2 minutes before a business closes to make a purchase. I could not have asked for a more kind, welcoming, and friendly staff. I didnt feel rushed or like I was an inconvenience. Everyone was extremely nice and patient while I filled out my gun registration. The entire process was quick, easy, and actually quite enjoyable. Great staff! Great business! Highly recommend!
Always great service, very welcoming and definitely a straight shooter. No BS from Gary or any of the others, very honest even when its not what you want to hear. Willing to educate laypersons on finishing techniques, what your firearm needs, reloading, and just about anything else without patronizing or smugness. Excellent family-owned establishment i keep coming back to!
Outstanding customer service. Gary and his crew do top notch work. They tell you what they can & cant do. They give you an honest assessment and charge a fair price. They are an outstanding example of Honesty, Quality, and Integrity. This is the only company I will send my firearms to for gunsmith and finish/refinishing work. Hes taken care of my firearms for over 10 yrs and every one looks & functions great.
Been doing business with them a long time. Highly recommend!
My favorite business to go into. The staff are a joy! Great family feel!
Every time I have done business with this store they are very nice and up front with costs etc. One of the best stores to get firearms fixed. Also, great for transferring firearms as well.
I went in to Oakridge to have an old shotgun dated. I was immediately helped and was made to feel right at home. There is a great group of empoyees who are extremely helpful and courteous. Prices are second to none. I will continue to bring my business to them.
Great people! great experience! VERY Trustworthy..
Do not use this place, i call Oakridge before purchasing gun online to make sure it was ok, called Oakridge morning of delivery of gun & they said fedex delivery was at at 4pm. Arrived at store 4pm with FedEx & store was closed sign said will return june 14. Now gun is being sent back & i will have to pay extra shipping & i may loose gun
Ive had two various experiences with Oakridge Custom Finishing. I had an AR-15 receiver transferred from Oakridge and gunsmithing work for a M1903A3 re-build. Oakridge promptly called me as soon as my receiver came in and simple process. For the M1903A3 build I purchased the rifle at a gunshow at way below current market value. After looking online I believed the rifle to be an old drill rifle that had been re-activated. After doing my research and the potential safety hazards of firing a weapon I knew Oakridge has a broad and wealth of experience in the firearm industry including old military surplus firearms. I turned the rifle in and received an honest response of when they would get to it. The gunsmith Gary called me the day of and informed that the receiver was good to go in regards to heat treatment but not headspaced to the barrel. He made this old war horse perfectly safe to shoot and even test fired it for me. I wouldnt trust anyone else to do gunsmith work on military surplus rifles in the middle Georgia area except for Gary at Oakridge. Dont trust the limited google reviews, go look at their FB page to see more positive reviews.
