Went in today to get some speciscrews for the center caps on my wheels and EVERYONE in that store could not be more helpful. So much better than Lowes. Im going to start going to this store more often. Thanks to the team for getting me set up. Awesome experience.

If you really need help they will go above and beyond to help you find what youre looking for. Makes HD and Lowes seem terrible. 100% recommend going here instead.

A little pricey on things that they have in common with the big box stores, but when youre in a pinch for time you go here, but I would price a item before I go because the principle is more valuable then the time.

Now out of all the Ace stores that Ive been to, this one is my absolute favorite. Maybe because Ive been doing business with them for around 30 years more or less. They live up to the jingle of the helpful hardware folks!

Bought $140 worth of plants, garden hose, hose reel, and assorted hardware...out of stock on most milch and garden soil...staff seemed nice enough, but I had to make 2 trips to my car and not one of them offered to help me load my stuff or even get the door...three of them were right there and just walked off as soon as I had paid...I drove across town but that was a mistakeResponding to your response: As I stated, the sales clerks were nice, but it surprised me that none of them made ANY effort to help me get my stuff out to the car or at least help with the door... I can tell you exactly the 3 folks who I am referring to were... 1st was the young man who rang me up (very friendly and polite... oversight on his part or just not thinking... maybe new) ... 2nd was a tall gentleman in a red vest, older than me, standing right by the counter... 3rd was a tall female short hair... Behind the counter while I was being checked out... And I had the EXACT SAME THOUGHT THAT YOU DID... Customer service was the only thing that made me drive across town and differentiated yall from Home Depot or especially Lowes... but the limited selection of gardening items, inability to get to the little bit that you did have in stock (2 bags of potting soil, 3-4 bags of orange mulch, 1 bag organic garden soil) ... And all of it blocked by whatever project you are trying to complete on the side patio and none of it had any signage/price info visible ANYWHERE, including your bedding plants ot front... Thats what really made me leave... Because I could have stopped at Home Depot or Lowes a mile from my house, helped myself there and probably saved money, too... And got all the rest of the stuff I needed that I have to go there for anyway, now... It was just a letdown... No one was unpleasant or anything like that... I might use yall again if I am over that way, but I can drive a little bit further and get to Ace Perry or Ace Rutland Station in Macon... they are both much larger and offer a better variety, so chances are that I will choose one of them when I shop at ACE on future projects... I appreciate your prompt response, though... Thanks!

I go here quite often to get supplies and things that needed for my cleaning business and these guys are awesome and always very helpful.

I arrived at the Ace hardware and was greeted at the car. That was a pleasant surprise. The young man took my request and took care of it without me even leaving my car. He picked the key out and showed them to me before making them, and then even took my money and I just stayed in the car with my dog which made him happy.

Great customer service Yeah sometimes the items may cost a bit more here but it’s worth every penny because you get such good customer service I mean from a screw and washer down to building a whole house very knowledgeable people always asking if I need help in making sure I get the right part the first time instead of having to go back and forward like other stores I’ve been to I will continue to go here more periodically and definitely support my small business and community

Local hardware store, and is convenient if close by and in need of common equipment. If not I would recommend the larger stores down Watson which offer a much larger and more specialized inventory.

Our experience with Ace on Commercial Circle...My fiance and I love to update houses. We actually live in them as we do the work. We purchased our third home, which was the oldest of any, in the Shirley Hills area. The home is very cute, large yard, & built in the 50s (WOW). Its been the most challenging. As we are renovating the second bath the bathroom plumbing of course is galvanized steel piping and they make nothing current that is universally compatible with changing out the faucets. We would have had to completely change out all of the galvanized to PVC, which we had not budgeted for. Lowes employees could not help us. We were back and forth 4-5 times getting the run around with guessing games as to what we needed to do.We were in town and decided to stop by Ace Hardware on Commercial Circle. The lady (Stacey Petterman) in there was surprisingly extremely knowledgeable about plumbing. She knew more about it than every one in Lowes put together. We had our faucet and pipe with us and she completely rebuilt our entire faucet for us because we didnt know how. She did it right there in the store. She was very helpful and saved us tons of money. We would be had to call in a professional if not for her. MS Peterman explained to us why the current products were not compatible with our old and gave US a little history about the companies and the way they made Plumbing Piping back then.I looked around the store as she rebuilt the faucet, my fiance stayed there watching the process. Looking at lights and different things, I found they were actually cheaper than Lowes on lot of stuff. I was very surprised. I will check with them before I give the BIG stores my money from now on.I just wanted to recommend this Ace Hardware to everyone and tell you what a great job they did and share our surprising experience. I feel its one to be told.Never underestimate our small businesses. They actually have more knowledge and skill than most of us give them credit for (Im guilty). I can tell you that I will never go back to Lowes again for a Plumbing project unless Ace is not open or Im desperately need a part but knowing exactly what it is that I need...I am in no way getting paid nor is this store aware of this lengthy recommendation.Sorry so long!!! I just didnt want to leave anything out. 😇

Ace is easy in and out. The people there know their stuff. May save some at the big box stores but there shopping experience is too long if you are trying to get things done.
