AMAZING place! The mechanics were very friendly and the actual work done on my car was excellent and so were the prices. Honestly they have the lowest prices out of any other auto shop I have ever been to. The mechanic even went in the back, got the old motor mount and showed it too me. He even explained everything about it and gave a detailed explanation about the work he performed. Baxters Truck & Auto Repair Inc. is officially our new mechanic.👍🏼👍🏼

If you want to be treated wonderfully while being scammed and lied to this is the place to go. I had been going to them for years, for my car repairs and inspections. You would like to think your dedication to a business will lead to honesty and fairness but that is not how this place or this world works today. I had a grinding in the front end and took my Cherokee to them to check out. They told me I needed a new front axle, CV joint etc. and it would cost in excess of $1,100.00 to repair. I didnt have the money so had to put it off, which Bob told me would last a while. I kept hearing noises when I applied the brakes and took it back to Baxters 4 times and asked them to check the brakes I really felt that was the problem. All 4 times I was sent away with the assurance it was not the brakes, I needed a front end. To cut this short I ended up getting fed up and suspicious when driving home from work one day my brakes went right to the floor, NO BRAKES AT ALL. So angrily I took it upon myself to do the brakes, something I hadnt done in almost 25 years. To my horror my rotors were worn to NOTHING, so bad the noises were the pads clinking in the spacers of the rotors. Since doing the brakes I have NEVER had another noise or problem in the front. So much for the $1,100.00 front end job I needed, turned out about $300.00 in parts and a couple of hours saved me $800.00 in Baxter mark ups. Disgusting that a business would put my safety and possibly life at risk to make a outrageous profit, dont take the chance of them doing to you and your family no matter how nice they seem. Someone told me years ago not to go to Baxters, they said If you dont have a problem driving in, you sure as hell will driving out.. I truly believe that now.........below are pictures of the rotors I replaced. Side note Mike the owner also took a ride in the Cherokee with me and heard nothing and assured me the brakes were fine. Thanks for risking my life for profit.

I have owned a Used Car Business for 25 years moves to Warwick. It was local. I brought my Benz there. I knew the issues and what it should cost. They were reasonable in price spot on. I brought my 50 year old Chevy Camaro there after being cheated by Conti Service at 221 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI. Conti said my car was not drive-able so he couldnt check the transmission but the engine needed to be replaced (he adds 33% to order the engine), the radiator needed to be replaced and the motor for the convertible top needed to be replaced. It cost me hundreds of dollars to have nothing fixed but I got lucky; someone recommended Baxter Auto Repair. Michael the owner checked the car and determined it needed a carburetor adjustment, the top needed the two Hydraulic Lift Cylinders and a few other things he noticed. Instead of $15,000+ I was charged $800.00 and the car ran great.I highly recommend these people. They stay within the estimate, are friendly and helpful and very professional.

I really dont want to give a star,.I will let people know not to go here, I was lied to about my car it didnt cost me cost almost $800.00 dollars to fix the problem, exhaust, it was just fixed for under $300.00 my son will not being going back also, I was happy at first, had gone there before this last time. I knew the last person that owned a shop there before, Earl, now he was good and honest, Never had a problem, somethings should never change
